501  Economy / Speculation / Re: 0.618 fib retracement @ $48.5K achieved: Is this is the local top? on: January 26, 2024, 07:26:04 AM
For now, the peak hit by Bitcoin this year at a little above $49,000 will remain the ETF-associated peak in my opinion. The ETF time has been priced in already, and nothing significant can be attributed to it anymore unless we hear of some huge moves caused by it in favour of Bitcoin. After all the ETF has helped the coin to move significantly higher during the rumours, news, headlines and hypes associated with that triggered FOMO, I do not think more can be done by it anymore unless the market takes a breath lower as it is taking it now.

The correction is long overdue, and anything else that would happen will merely be for the pre and post-halving effects which we are of course getting very ready for. Also, with Bitcoin hesitant to move above the psychological level of $40,000 convincingly lately, not to mention the higher level of the 1D Fibo at $40,243, I so much believe that it is weak and will be further pressured to a lower level of $37,519 if the present condition subsist.
The key factor here is "for now", because it is the current top, and we look like we are far away from it, but remember, within span of just 2 weeks, bitcoin broke both above 49k and under 40k as well. In fact, within three weeks, it has gone from 40k to 49k to 40k again.

So, do not think that reaching above 49k would be impossible for bitcoin, we could literally see 50k+ in a week if bitcoin were to go up, it is not unreal and it is not even that uncommon for bitcoin to go up like that. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that it will be 50k+ in a week, I wouldn't know, I wouldn't even speculate such a thing, and I do not even believe that it will. However, I am 100% sure that it is a possibility, we should not leave that out of possible scenarios that could happen.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Altcoins Investment Experience on: January 26, 2024, 06:36:23 AM
You can see the evidence in the market and the majority of investors hodling BTC and Ethereum in this bear season and, you will no that there is no way you will hodl all those coins for a long period of time and you will not improve higher in your investment.

If you don't want any fear in your hodling, I will advise you to to continue embracing the altcoins that will be giving you peace of mind like Ethereum, Solana and BNB which I know they can give you peace of mind if you want to invest on them.
That's why I like to put my money in Ethereum and BNB because I've known them for a long time and I know their movements almost every season and secondly, according to my experience, they are very suitable for short or long term trading and investment by relying on bearish and bull signals
I think old cryptocurrencies like Ethereum and Binance coin mostly perform better in the long run. This is why we are advised to make them as a long-term investment. I think this is also because Bitcoin and the overall market of cryptos rarely pumps.

If there are coins that we see pumping, they are usually new coins that are short-lived only. But if you are into shorter terms you can invest on them. You should only monitor them closely, not only their price but also their groups and social media accounts. So that you will know if it's now time to abandon them or not yet. Apart from short-term investing, you can also trade them for the short-term.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MATIC or DOT? on: January 25, 2024, 05:55:31 PM
I've been buying MATIC little by little, it's a great second layer solution, still in the development phase, of course...

I imagine it could reach a value of between 6 and 8 dollars in the next market rally
Since its still in development better to start accumulating mate right? readying for the time when this is fully developed and for sure will have big increase in price.
I'm not a fan of Layer 1 or 2  projects as I focused only in popular and oldschool currencies but recently these layers projects are getting my attention so maybe I will consider taking in my folio.
Matic is not new, so it's surprising if they are still in the development phase. Although maybe all coins should be like this? Because it gives the investors an excitement than those coins whose team is not active on developing their coins anymore. Except only of course for BTC; its case is different even though it's rumoured that Satoshi had disappeared long time ago. ETH is also an old coin but their teams are still developing it. They need it though because the fees on it are still high and the movement of the coin is still slow.

There are many layer 1 and 2 projects now, and new coins on the same category are still coming out. I wouldn't wonder why you suddenly build an interest on them. They are useful though as an alternative when doing payment transactions or when we use our crypto as a currency, as they are fast and cheap.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You will do in this situation? on: January 25, 2024, 03:40:24 PM
I don't understand what's the relationship between you and them? are they your family members? if yes, you can try to introduce him to sports, otherwise you don't have to mind someone else business. Sharing about your gambling experience with him is fine, as long as you said the truth especially if you make money in sports betting.

I doubt if he's unaware with sports betting, most casinos already have slots, table games and sports.
I think sharing a gambling experience is still the same as introducing him to sports because he may still get curious with it and engage on it later on. And if he already knows it, it might still encourage him to play more especially if what we are sharing are only/mostly winning moments.

Sharing experience is different from simply bragging or story telling where the ones who does it usually didn't even experience what they are talking about. Though IDK, maybe some still does it. These people will feel bad if they tell truth about their gambling sessions, that they are mostly losing. But if you are not new in gambling, you will still know the truth about it.
505  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons for personal financial accountability? on: January 25, 2024, 01:08:52 PM
And have track of you expenses it is always better that we know were we are spending our money when i was growing up my dad use to keep date of when he buys fuel of pay for gas and other services to be able to keep track of how much is spending and the time frame does services will last. and its an habit have learnt from him and this habit will also be a guide and help you when their is need for caution when it comes to spending. it wont even be possible to keep track of everything but their are important ones that you can always keep track of definitely.

and even with your budget you might end up spending more than your budget because things you did not plan for might occur so this things are meant to happen but even at that we should always find a way of managing our funds. and try as much has possible to avoid were you always spend more if they are not important. because in any kind of situation been financial capacity. and their is noting more interesting and more peace than to be able to solve your financial needs.
I remember my mom use to do this too. It was when I saw her notebook one time, only to find out that she is recording everything that she spends. It's only sad that we only realize its importance now, when we are already an adult. If we are committed on recording all of our expenses, it would be better to try and watch out everything that we buy or where we use our money. As this makes the activity sensible.

When we are committed with budgeting, I don't think we will spend above our limits. Except maybe if there are emergencies like we or someone close to us are hospitalized. This is one example of what you said there about unexpected spendings.
506  Economy / Economics / Re: richdad poordad has no more guide after achieving freedom on: January 25, 2024, 10:14:31 AM
Ok, richdad poordad is about getting out of school and get a hold of your finance, get out of rat race and leave the cage, but what else to do after you had made it? I do not like richdad poordad for not having a complete guide, they just stop right at the middle of nowhere, and left the rest to the reader to figure them out...

so what is there to do? there is so many scammers out there what is richhdad poordad guide to proceed at this point? is there a handbook for thing like this?

I dont fancy giving away the thing to charity btw.

I know elon or warren must have their handbook to guide them, but I doubt they would want anyone to know and read their guide book.

cash flow 101, cash flow 202, what about cash flow 303?? cash flow 4040? cash flow 505?
This question is mainly about the fact that what you could do after you already get rich, and that is not really a question you should worry about. After getting rich enough, and I mean like seriously rich, you could put your money into savings accounts and you could still live a comfortable life. In this logic, rich dad got richer by buying assets, so just keep those assets and keep making money.

One example was getting to 20k dollars level. Because after you get to 20k level, you could buy a 100k house, and pay the mortgage that way, rent it out, and you have an income, and if you could end up with paying half of your mortgage, you are opened to having another mortgage like that, so get another 20k, and get another 100k house, you have 120k debt, but you have nearly 3k dollars income, maybe more, and you could show that as a loss, because you have debt, so you pay a lot less tax, less than even before you had the houses, because you are in debt.
507  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the export of goods related to manufacturing capabilities or resources? on: January 25, 2024, 09:15:31 AM
Quote
150 years of exporting between countries began in 1870, when the beginnings of exporting from the United Kingdom began in the 1800s, and from that time countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, China, and Japan topped the lists of exporting countries. Is export capacity related to manufacturing capabilities or to resources available in those countries?

What natural resources does Japan have? The only resource Japan has is a hard working and well educated working class.
The United Kingdom also doesn't have many natural resources, but it exploited the natural resources of many colonies around the world.
The USA and China have lots of natural resources in their lands, but they also have to import lots of resources.
In summary, the export capability is determined by manufacturing efficiency and the access to cheap resources(labor can be also viewed as a resource).
I would guess that "import/export" is just the topic, making money is not just based on this topic though, you could always look at Saudi Arabia and how they are making money with just oil, but if you remove oil, they do make money too. From simple obvious things like tourism, to financial companies to software to many other stuff, you do not have to send any products to any nation and still make a lot money.

Another great example would be Singapore, people go there all the time, and it is getting to become one of the most famous financial capitals in the world. So all in all, I would say that it should be something that we should target to make it better and we could potentially get a lot better with time, we just need to do a lot more with digital income.
508  Economy / Economics / Re: The 150 year old maths and logic theory on the best period to make money: on: January 25, 2024, 06:31:02 AM
Do you really believe that the guy, who created this "infograph" 150 years ago can successfully predict what will happen to the global economy in 2035 or 2053? Even "math and logic" can't predict everything. All this sounds like nonsense to me. This guy tried to prove by using math and logic, that the stock markets are cyclic. 150 years ago, the Federal Reserve didn't exist. Nowadays, the Federal Reserve has a major influence over all financial markets. Did this guy predict the creation of the Federal Reserve?
What mathematical equations did he use, in order to prove his theory? I'm not a math guy, so I can't tell whether his theory is legit or a total BS. It seems more like BS to me.
Of course not, but some logical parts stands still because when he made it, he looked past thousands of years, and it was similar, so he assumed it would be similar for thousands of years as well. Even though humanity rapidly grew in the last hundred years so some things has changed, there are some things that stayed the same as well.

I hope that we could consider the situation changing a bit and we could end up with something that would profit on the long term. I know that it is not going to be all that easy, but it should be understandable and similar when you check certain parts of the graphic. Don't tell me that you haven't seen anything that is similar in your life time that exists on that chart, I have seen plenty similarities.
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETFs - Good or Bad? on: January 24, 2024, 06:22:22 PM
You need to remember one thing that we live in a centralized world and the government is the one who controls this world. ETFs or regulations are inevitable, what we need is to adapt to them. Do you have any way to combat or prevent these things from happening ? No, we can't do anything but complain and grudgingly accept it . So I think instead of complaining and not being able to change the problem, we should adapt to things.

Bitcoin is decentralized but people have forgotten that our world is centralized and bitcoin is just a small part of the world , don't expect it to completely change the world to our liking.
The idea that governments can take some money from you, makes them so greedy, if they can find anything that they can take money from you, they will accept it. People assumed that bitcoin would not be loved by governments, even hated, but they missed the fact that if you tell the government that they can tax your bitcoin income, they will be madly in love with it, and that's what we are seeing right now.

I hope that it can go that way, I don't care if I have to pay taxes, it's fine by me, I just have to realize that we are going to end up with something that will benefit everyone, and that should not be an issue. I know that it's going to be a bit of a difficult thing to handle, but it will be as simple as it gets.
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prepare for the Next Dip before the Real Bull. on: January 24, 2024, 05:36:32 PM

I'm not saying that DCA is a bad method or accumulating as soon as possible is stupid, I'm just reminding @I_Anime not to rush. Is it wrong?
No it’s not a stupid idea, and you’re wrong to wait till certain period of time or price to start DCAing because that’s not DCA again to wait for a period of time. If we all know a certain time while price will be low then nobody will actually DCA we will just go in all at the low price. DCA is actually done because of lack of certainty on price movements and it helps to actually narrow down average price.

For example if you DCA at $45k, $41500 and $39k right now you will be at an average price of $41800. This is because the price did fall, had it been it actually increases you will have been in better profits. So DCA is done at any price you have funds to invest just that you up the amount as the prices falls.
I know that I did not expected it to go below 40k, that much is for sure. So, when I saw the price go under 39k, I started to feel like maybe I was wrong and that type of thing makes you lose your situation a bit, like you are not sure if you know what you are doing or not. You may start to even think about not having any idea what's going to happen.

Personally, I would say that it will go back beyond 40k again, and this drop is only temporary, I am pretty sure that by March or so, we are going to go up a lot, like 50k, because halving will be close and everyone will buy, so I am sensing that it will go up. Just like in 2020, when it started at 7k, reached to 3-4k levels first, then hit 10k mark and then kept going up later on.
511  Economy / Speculation / Re: Signs you should know to take profit from your crypto investment on: January 24, 2024, 04:38:03 PM
There would really be those hesitations since you do know that it might be a trap on which how many times this market did make out such move on the time that it might be looking on dropping
but it did go into the opposite direction. This is why you would really be ending up on having those hesitation on finalizing your plans or putting up your analysis because you do know those tendencies on dropping.
This is why it would really be that best that  you should really know on how to make yourself that versatile or would really be that having that kind of adjustment.

This is why it would really be that best that you should really be prioritizing on taking profits on the time that you do have that kind of opportunity on which not all would really
be having that kind of chance or making out the right decision just because of market unpredictability plus the mix of having those hesitation and
non sureness on how this market behaves or moves.
People could very well feel a bit of a doubt when they are investing. After all, they are putting up their money in there and it makes sense that they may end up with nothing major, that will of course upset these people and should be considered a big deal. I am not saying that it would be all that crazy, it should be pointed out that we are going to end up with something major here, and the fact that we are ending up with something like a doubt or judgement towards the movement, that's normal.

I personally ignore all of that, even though I feel it too, but feeling something doesn't make me stop from making the right investments, and that is why I end up with as much of a progress as I possibly could, makes it that much better for me.
512  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin’s Slide Below $40K Amid FTX Liquidation and ETF Turmoil on: January 24, 2024, 09:58:02 AM
Just come across this news now , is there any given reason for what is happening in the market now? upon staying in above 40 whole December last year and 3 weeks this January finally it falls down below 40k$

One institution sells and another buys and that's why investors like Bitcoin because Bitcoin investors are chasing big payouts. I think this is just a moment.

BTC will be fine in the next few days. Wink
I agree, it doesn't look like this down will go on for too long. I am not sure if it will be just a few days or more, but I am sure that it will not be an issue for a long time, so we are going to see the situation get better eventually. I believe that the best thing to do at this moment would be just making sure that we know what we are doing and the best way to get that working would be making sure that life is not all that confusing.

Maybe it may take a few days, maybe it will take a few weeks, do not hesitate, do not wonder, do not fear, just let it be and eventually it will go back up. I doubt ANYONE in the world doubts that it will go back beyond 40k, and I am sure that people even think it will be beyond 50k as well.
513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Post-ETF effect: Has Bitcoin Bottomed yet? on: January 24, 2024, 08:08:06 AM
Rumors about ETFs started in October, when the price was at $27,000, and from there the price continued to rise, reaching $49,000. The price almost doubled due to ETFs, and it is healthy to see a correction in this price. The correction may lead us in the short term to $37,000 to $35,000, but inevitably To be a starting point for a new rise, as it is unlikely that we will see $20,000 again, and after the price rise, it is unlikely that we will see $30,000 again. Start worrying if we drop below $27,000 and not $40,000.
Just Effect ETFs only. Maybe in this moment we need now is to buy additional coins on spot. Be aware of back pressure. However, for spot trading it will be fine, but trading futures is very risky. Currently, my view is that Altseason will be coming soon.
ETF situation will eventually happen, maybe it is not happening right now but it will eventually happen, and until that moment we will keep seeing those news. It could be today, tomorrow, a week from now, a month from now, a year from now, nobody knows when it will get accepted. This is why we keep seeing news.

Moreover, just recently, they tweeted about it and put up a page on their website, and then said they got hacked, that could be true, that could be some moron who works there, OR it could also be just them trying to meddle with the market and make it go up and down so that they could make more profit. This is why it's quite important to keep up with the markets, we could suddenly start to go up if there are any improvements on the ETF topic as well.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run within Q4 of 2024? on: January 23, 2024, 07:48:49 PM
halving give sense of scarcity to many people i'm sure it will make the trend bullish even though it not necessarily means that the price will suddenly sky rocket, so expect something not so significant to happen but it still good though for the market at least the halving if could bring bullish trend toward the market it will helps the market to grow further.
after all we already got ETF, it will surely brings in big capital to the market, significantly growing bitcoin market in the future once it have some good opportunity of bullish again.
It literally gives scarcity to Bitcoin since it can lessen its supply. This is why people are always excited about it, making them to buy and HODL more. With that said, yeah, this makes the trend bullish. Halving is not done yet and we already feel the pump, so how much more when the actual event starts?

I don't think there will still be a delay for its positive effects. But even if let say, there is, people will still accept it. What important is, it is already guaranteed. But anyway it looks like the ETF is like that. It's already approved but people are wondering on why there is no pump yet that happened. Rest assured that the positive effects are only delayed.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $MONKE may be bigger than $PEPE? 🦍>🐸 on: January 23, 2024, 06:29:42 PM
Incompetent people want attention Smiley , and they will just create hype around it. But the statement never came true, only making people see the delusional face of those who are FOMO with memecoin.

Yep, true to the nature of memes, the humor is used in a rather crass and boring way.
Tactics like this are actually normal in business. You need to get the attention of the public for them to check out what you are offering. The exact statement can be a little off but some (non-meme coins) still has something unique to offer. FOMO is a normal thing in crypto and it can happen not only to the meme coins.

It usually occurs when there is a hype and people who are late are coming for it. But being early in meme coins isn't good either, since the chance for them to get pumped up and last longer is only slim. Memes on the other hand are actually funny. Maybe you are just a boring person to find them unentertaining.
516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the end of excitement on: January 23, 2024, 03:45:32 PM
The volatility that Bitcoin was famous for, I think that volatility is no longer seen as such, but rather a boring condition in the market. There is no doubt that its price will rise again, as the next halving is near, but now I don't think we will see such huge pumps like we used to see before ETF approval. There is no denying that the price of Bitcoin does not always stay at one place, but the speed at which the price of Bitcoin was increasing is now slowing down.

Although everyone thought that a huge pump would be seen in Bitcoin after the ETF approval, but even after the approval, nothing like that was seen. However, it can be hoped that its price may increase slowly, but now institutional investors who have invested in it, now it is not difficult for them to dump or pump Bitcoin from anywhere. I think the approval of ETF is not good for the value of Bitcoin.
I think it will keep growing, think of bitcoin as like a bow and arrow, you have to draw it first a little behind, before you can let it go, if you show someone the starting point of the arrow and then you draw it, they will think that arrow will go back, but we all know that it can go back only so much, there is a limit to that, but then it will go multiple times further ahead.

This is where we are right now, people saw coming from 48k to 40k so they think that it will go down, but we know that it can go down only for a bit, it can't go down too much, not specially during the halving era, so it will go up a lot more given enough time, and we should be focusing on that part a bit more, it will make it a lot more profitable to be patient.
517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you pay attention on other people bet and it amount, and does it affect you? on: January 23, 2024, 10:24:06 AM
I used to be moved by a friend who is into gambling, whenever she won some money I always feel left out but due to the warnings from my father about gambling I dare not give a try at the time, and later she keep some distance, only to find out that she lost almost everything in gambling that was why she was avoiding me.

I helped her in some categories and after I told her everything my father told me, we are still good friends till today and she already quit gambling, later after I started making some money I start my own gambling activities but when I told her she doesn't seem to be interested or moved about it.

There is no point in paying attention to gamblers around you, most of them always become a victim to their own desire and greed through gambling, it's better to avoid them and take your responsible gambling very serious, watching others can fuel up your desire for gambling and it can lead you into making wrong decisions.
Bad influence on you by friends is as old as time, I am sure that there were some cavemen who were bad influence on other cavemen as well back in the day. So, it is not really a shocker that you would have a friend like that, we should not be shocked about it, we should accept that as normal and not really focus on it too much. I get it, it's normal and we all got that friend who did something that was bad. Mine was smoking, it wasn't gambling, I got into gambling all myself without looking at anyone or seeing anyone or getting influenced even by online people, it was all my own decision.

But mine was smoking, a friend of mine smoked, and he smoked near me all the time when I was a teenager, and slowly, I started to get one from him, now at my age, I am a smoker who smokes all the time, it all started with him. We have those kind of friends.
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: January 22, 2024, 12:49:03 PM
In fact, gambling can be done by anyone who has money to deposit.

What makes gamblers often lose is when they start to get angry or greedy. Gambling is a matter of luck or not, enjoy when you win and forget about when you lose. That way, we will not fall into gambling addiction which often gets worse day by day
Even if you don't have it, you still can play freely via demo mode. But, I think still minors are not allowed with it. Emotion has nothing to do in a luck-based game although indeed that if you have it, you will find your self coming back to avenge your losses.

Or you will continue thinking you can still earn more. And this is how results start to change from good to bad, if ever we started being lucky. In some gambling games, skills can matter the most. If we don't take gambling seriously, enjoying is possible whatever the outcome is. Gambling addiction can get worse continuously if not treated. So, we should watch out for the signs and do the right thing once you have them.
519  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for new coin listing alerts app on: January 22, 2024, 10:56:23 AM
coingecko and coinmarket you can see about new coin listing.
but new coins are usually listed on dex exchanges such as pancakeswap et al. if it's not a big coin whose ico can get a lot of investors new coins are usually listed on dex exchanges.
That's right. They need to prove themselves first if they are truly worthy by getting enough volume in a DEX. But what ICO you are talking about dude? They are not a thing anymore in the crypto world.

But, if the project gets a lot of investors, things are going to be easy for them. It wouldn't take long for them to be  spotted on that two giant listing site. All coins do always start small and they can only get huge overtime if more people support them. And for them to be supported, they must possess something that is unique (features or use case). It was only sad that projects like this are now too good to be true. It was like we are finding a needle in the haystack.
520  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges 2023 annual report by TokenInsight on: January 22, 2024, 09:40:55 AM
what is orca.
or youre mean about dex echanger solana platform.
The majority of Dex Exchange's largest users operate on the BNB Smart Chain platform. It's possible that PancakeSwap is still better than ORCA, which runs on the Solana platform. Alternatively, it could be because I am not closely following the development of Dex Exchangers or because I am not a frequent user of the Solana platform, which would explain why I am less aware of the advancements in Dex Exchangers.
I guess that's what he mean to. But really, it was BSC who take the lead now? Because I thought it was still ETH. If only the gas fees of ETH didn't get bloated, they will still be on top. But ETH was still bigger than in BSC and BNB in terms of crypto rankings. and I heard tokens on ETH are still more safer and has a better quality than the other. So if we are an altcoin/token investor, I will still recommend to prioritized them over the BSC and others.

In between PCS and ORCA, I do agree too that PCS still takes the lead despite SOL tokens are gaining a traction lately. It was still early for them. They need to show their worth first a little longer for them to get a better position.
