501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DON'T TURN A BLIND EYE ON BITCOIN JUST YET on: April 11, 2018, 12:58:46 PM
You got a point when you say bitcoin has a value and it needs respect. But this respect is hard to come by. Bitcoin holders have a clear understanding how bitcoin works and how can it help the economy but to non-bitcoin holders they dont have an idea to what is bitcoin. With many scams using bitcoin as a facade to victimized thousands of people, the masses are now equating bitcoin to a scam coin and are leaving bitcoin behind with the fear of losing money. But I do hope that in the future we can educate more people to understand how bitcoin really works.
502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can go to new highs or it has already peaked? on: April 11, 2018, 12:49:11 PM
I heard that bitcoin is a bubble that has begun to burst, but this is not the first time that annalists says that.

Imo the awareness about digital assets can always increase, and investors will come across.

Wouldn't this be a reason for such affirmative from annalists be wrong? What are other reasons that make you believe that bitcoin will rise again?

Not all digital assets can increase there are even some digital assets that dies even after ICO without having to touch exchanges. But bitcoins situation is different, being the first cryptocurrency there is, it has enticed thousands of people who believe that this coin has a huge future. Aside from that bitcoin has only a total 21 million coins of which only 17 million are only in circulation. With more people going into bitcoin and with its limited number bitcoin will be a bigtime cryptocurrency in two years time and may reach 100k $ by 2021.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Effect of Upcoming World Cup Russia 2018 on Bitcoin Price? on: April 11, 2018, 12:41:48 PM
Just few weeks to go ,then world cup kick off start. Will the booming economy of Russia during the world cup affect bitcoins? Will traders gluing their eyes to TV to watch matches or attending stadium reduce the time of trading, and hence the volume in the market?  What do you also think will affect the cryptocurrency market with bitcoin specifically during upcoming world cup.

It may affect the value of bitcoin but not in big amount or value. Possibly if the big whales will ride on this news and will hype bitcoin then there is a tendency that temporarily bitcoin will increase in value before it goes down again. But in the least it is a good contributor to the rise of bitcoins value. If more of this activity will be launched across the world accepting bitcoin then surely bitcoin will be leaving towards mars soon.
504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex accused of fraud !! Another FUD? on: April 11, 2018, 12:34:28 PM
Bitfinex among all large cryptocurrency exchange, it has the largest volume of bitcoin being traded. I remember last year it was trading 150k bitcoin for a week. Given the volume of bitcoin at bitfinex and the value of bitcoin decreasing we cannot take the doubts of people and we cannot blame them if they will accuse Bitfinex of baing a fraud. But at least it was proved wrong and thats the most important part.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam in the name of BITCOIN on: April 11, 2018, 12:23:50 PM
Well those scammers had a fill of those people who have no idea what is bitcoin all about and just give their money because they thought that they will earn. In the Philippines a number of Filipinos every year have been victim of such scams. Back to 2012 I was also a victim of Aman Feature Scam and lost 4k$. But I learned a lot from that; it was broadcasted all over the country  but still many Filipinos does not learn from having lost a huge amount back then. With bitcoin being famous, scammers are now back again using bitcoin as a facade for their scamming activities.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin : Buying / Holding on: April 11, 2018, 12:17:32 PM
As Bitcoin is very volatile this year. Are you still planning buy bitcoin or you will just hold until it goes up?

I am planning on buying more if bitcoin will go down below 6k$ but up to now it does not go down that value. So instead of buying I am earning and saving more bitcoins from my online jobs and I will be holding them until December this year before I will sell some of them. I believe that by December bitcoin will hit 20k$ again.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reputation of Bitcoin in the Philippines. on: April 11, 2018, 11:23:30 AM
It will play a huge impact on the growth of bitcoin in the Philippines. For those old players of bitcoin they will not believe it and will just laugh at the news since the news is delivered in a way that makes bitcoin like an investment scam itself. But for those who have no idea how bitcoin works they will no longer accept bitcoin anymore since they will think that it is a scam investment before you can explain it to them.
508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Google banned Bitcoin advertisements on: April 11, 2018, 10:55:13 AM
The announcement of google was really to ban cryptorelated ads and ICO's. But this decision have cause a major uproar on the cryptocurrency economy and as a result the value of cryptocurrency has suffered from the red market. To combat those movement by facebook, google and twitter the Crypto holders created and organization and sued facebook, google and twitter on different countries. With these possible google in fear of such ruckus they strategize this thought of releasing opinions that they are only restricting but in fact they are banning.
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the borders of the states be lifted? on: April 11, 2018, 10:30:36 AM
would you like to have the borders of the states in the future and become the common currency bitcoin?

I am not sure about this. I would still like that both fiat currency and bitcoin co-exist. If we rely on bitcoin too much and a disaster occur and all internet connection disappear then we became helpless. So for me its better to have both. Also your idea, in order for this to be realized bitcoin should be at 100 trillion $ each per coin so it could serve the masses; the billions of people in the world.
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news! on: April 11, 2018, 10:02:47 AM
This is indeed good news for the Korean Cryptocurrency economy.  Though the government of korea plans to collect corporate taxes to local cryptocurrency exchanges but the overall situation has been good. With new regulations set by the South Korean Government  they can avoid money laundering and at the same time gain taxes from the local exchanges.
511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange for enigmatic bitcoin opens in Portland on: April 10, 2018, 08:06:25 AM
If this will be successful then Portland could be the second country next to Japan. In Japan there are a lots of establishment wherein you can spend bitcoin and survive the month without using a fiat money. In tokyo almost every street merchants paraded their sign ' we accept bitcoin" and it is very good to see. I do hope that Portland could also follows Japan's footsteps as sooner or later.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does the Media Keep Referring to Ver as "Bitcoin Jesus"? on: April 10, 2018, 08:00:37 AM
That title is not suited for Roger Ver. Jesus is a God, a messiah , this was my belief and the whole Christian community. To compare Ver to Jesus is just blasphemy. Even if we put the concept of Christianity aside Roger Ver cannot be the savior of Bitcoin. He even supported bitcoin cash and left bitcoin so how can we call him that. His words are nothing but for the sake of getting your dollars out of your pocket.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Falling time is time to invest more or not? on: April 10, 2018, 07:48:09 AM
If you understand how the market works then you will not worry even if the market is down. Bitcoins value have rose up to 20k$ value and it drops to 6600$ this month. Many have panicked and lost a huge deal but those who just wait and hold their btc will have a good chance to profit by the end of the year. As long as we follow this principle buy low and sell high we will never fear the volatility in btc.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Restrictions to trade bitcoin or other virtua currencies on: April 10, 2018, 07:45:21 AM

While checking the site https://www.zebpay.com/buy-bitcoin/  I got following message today

"RBI and Virtual Currencies

RBI has recently issued communication about discontinuation of services by RBI regulated entities (banks/payment gateways) for purchase and sale of Bitcoin and other virtual currencies. We remain committed to keeping customer funds and assets secure, and are exploring various options. However, sudden disruption in banking services could affect our ability to service deposits and withdrawals, until banking services are restored. Please keep this risk factor in mind while making your investment decisions".

Whether above issue seems to be settled in near future or it will prove to be a permanent ban?  As a result such a big consumer market like India without Bitcoin, will not it affect the development and popularization of bitcoin.

They have their own reasons why they have banned bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in India but there is nothing to worry since if there are countries who banned them there are countries who also accepts them. When those countries who accepts cryptocurrency have developed their economy those who banned cryptocurrencies will start to review their own decisions.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How dare ETH to scramble for position with BTC? on: April 10, 2018, 07:36:58 AM
Although BTC has a stable position in the blockchain, but don't overlook ETH development, maybe it will become the "second BTC". What is your point on this opinion?

http://blog.epay.com/c/how_dare_eth_to_scramble_for_position_with_btc

Ethereum could never be the second btc. Even the forked version of bitcoin cannot cope up with the bitcoin's market pace. But I am not criticizing Ethereum since it has a big future but compared to bitcoin it can never surpassed it. Ethereum could also be a big hit and will join the wave of bitcoin's market. As long as bitcoin goes up then so as Ethereum.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you willing to give BTC in charity? on: April 10, 2018, 07:31:10 AM
If I have a huge amount of bitcoin or even if I own a little of btc and there is a charity nearby in our area that accepts bitcoin then I am willing to share some of my btc to them. If it is just posted online I will never give since I want to make sure that those charity are legit and not just a facade of a scamming entity. So to be sure if a charity near our location will be willing to accepts bitcoin then I am willing to give.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Five Reasons People HODL Bitcoin on: April 10, 2018, 07:24:05 AM
Reasons people Hodl:

1. Speculative purpose - due to the spike in the fiat value of Bitcoin over the years, some believes the best way to make money is just to buy and Hodl Bitcoin.
2. Security - Some see Bitcoin as a means of securing their hard earned money not necessarily to make more money; this is especially the case in developing countries especially Nigeria where the value of the Naira usually depreciates overtime.
So rather than leave your money in the bank and see the value depreciate, why not buy some Bitcoins ☺
3. Trend - In some cliques Hodling is the trending thing; if you're not Hodling you don't belong. It's driven by a sense of being part of the next big thing.
4. Love - Some love everything about Bitcoin and the technology behind it (Blockchain). You can't blame them they're rich!
5. Forced - This is my last point, they bought Bitcoin at a high Fiat price and can't afford to let go at a loss so what choice do they have? Hold On to Dear Life 😕
What other reasons do you know?

I have read your list and I also agree to those statements. My favorite part was number five, and this year there are many of those people who have bought bitcoin at the height of 20k$ and now bitcoin falls down to 6700$. For those who have patiently wait for the bitcoin to increase in value then there is a ray of light for them. But for those who panicked and sold their btc in a lower value they surely lost a big deal of money.
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: April 10, 2018, 07:17:13 AM
Our country just recently held a seminar introducing bitcoin in our country. The said seminar were facilitated
by bitcoin experts and government officials in pursuit of using bitcoin as another form of payment and regulation of it as well.

http://www.wheninmanila.com/5-things-i-learned-about-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrency/

Yes, Philippines started to recognize bitcoin.  When the news regarding the Baacoor unemployed dad became millionaire because of his engagement in bitcoin, it spreads a ray of hope to the Filipino citizen.

Unfortunately, there are also some news spread in Philippine television who take advantage of bitcoin fame and use it to scam people.

On the other hand, those news like this will alter those bad news that damage bitcoin reputation made by bad people who only want to scam other people.

As a Filipino citizen, if bitcoin will be legalize on the Philippines, for sure, I am one of million beneficiaries of it.

As far as I know the use of bitcoin is already legalized in the Philippines. And there are only two exchanges that have been approved by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas as well as the Securities and exchange commission to continue such trade. There are already KYC and AML regulations and other policies being sent to those exchanges to comply.  You can do some research on google so you can see that bitcoin is already legal in the Philippines but this is released with a warning from BSP that investing in bitcoins will be subjected to volatility and is very risky.
519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: G7 Central Banks plans to start buying cryptocurrency this year on: April 10, 2018, 07:13:11 AM
It's great news that they have this position but where exactly does the 50,000 btc value estimation come from?

I derived that estimation from a bullish person in bitcoin namely Jamie Burke, CEO at Outlier Ventures. Also Thomas Glucksmann of Gatecoin told CNBC that bitcoin will reach that far this year, as far as 50k$. With those statements and the approval of bitcoin ETF and the support of the central bank of G7 that will pour money into bitcoins; the prediction of 50k$ is feasible that we will hit this year.
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I have 700USD, Do I have gain the lowest qualifications to invest? on: April 10, 2018, 07:07:51 AM
I think if you don't have much money, you can invest in BTC or someone cryptocurrency too...
But If I have 700USD spare money, what can I do?

If you have such amount then you can at least spare half of it and invest on bitcoin. Bitcoin has a rich future though at this point of time it is sufferring from continuous deflation but this is just temporary. With the approval of bitcoin etf and the central bank G7 support to bitcoin we could see bitcoin soaring back again on the sky and this means more profit for all of us.
