Fortune cookie was still spot on.
Where's the fortune cookie predicting the delisting from Bitfinex? lol rekt And here we see the end of Dash's Life Line: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FfsXmO3M.png&t=663&c=F0F4wkIalCrvvw)

Great project. Very educational.
Is it compatible with proof-of-work?

so tomorrow is the magical 8.8. - I'm really curious if something will happen and what. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) I found a copy of tomorrow's script in the hotel printer: -Otoh (aka King DashHole), jealous of XMR's moon trip and angry about the Dash crash, borrows every available Monero to short -Otoh's 28k rage dump briefly breeches 0.0023 -XMR is suddenly added to BTC38, in celebration of Lucky Monero Day -XMR rallies, shorts are squeezed like lemons, price spikes to $8

I much prefer bittrex.com, though poloniex's charts and night view are very very good indeed.
Sorry for your loss. But yes, polo's night view is beautiful: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FQlzG7ij.png&t=663&c=fG6yImrlVJ2vyA) Ahh, such a lovely sight. lordy - how many times does the 9% have to be explained
Somebody should just make a page on DASHTALK and be done with it
The History of the 9%
For once we agree! Dash should be (retroactively) up front about the 2 million coins mined previous to its launch (IE the massive premine). It should be covered in the OP, and the misleading "No Premine" should be removed from the thread title. You should also stop pretending Dash's non-trustless Layer 2 is comparable to trustless BTC sidechains/Lightning. That's very dishonest.

The money is not going into Dash, that's exactly why bitfinex is pulling it. persistently low demand for trading Darkcoin There is little interest for something with that kind of ugly history and repetitional risk outside of a few existing true believers. The true believers are for the most part incapable of making this analysis and saving themselves from a total loss because they are blind to how most people actually operate in the real world. They're mostly self-selected to not care about the issues of integrity and repetitional risk that actually matter to long term success. "Golden donkey? Sure, sign me up!" What is important is to keep this information highly visible so that other people don't get sucked into involvement with something they would regret. The true believers of the cargo cult have a new article of faith. They now spread the myth that Dash's Layer 2 of trusted 3rd party masternodes are in some way equal to BTC's trustless sidechain/Ligntening. I understand the technical crypto-magic of the opcodes which allow BTC's Layer 2 to be trustless are esoteric, but that's no excuse for pretending Dash's 'bamboo runway' version of Layer 2 is comparable. And the market agrees with your analysis of Dash's exhausted demand: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FQlzG7ij.png&t=663&c=fG6yImrlVJ2vyA)

Did seriously just compare trusted 3rd party run Masternodes to trustless sidechains/Lightning? That's the funniest thing I've heard since the news about Bitfinex dropping DASH. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) It began with another trollero claiming 2 layer design sucks, and you backing him up, while simultaneously saying 2 layer design rulezz in another thread. Another prime example of you making things up according to your agenda is claiming in that other thread that increasing a variable in the source code makes the program larger. Dash's 2 layer design is nothing like sidechains/Lightning on Bitcoin. It's a very simple distinction. Dash uses trusted 3rd party masternodes (bad idea), while BTC's Layer 2 is trustless thanks to opcodes like CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY and CHECKSEQUENCEVERIFY. The market is too smart to ignore such an all-important difference in quality. That's why you're getting #rekt: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FQlzG7ij.png&t=663&c=fG6yImrlVJ2vyA) Bam! Right down the DashHole... ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

The coins which were mined previous to the announced release date are obviously premined[/b]
Repeating your illogicalities don't make them any more valid. Don't try to redefine well established terms whenever it serves your agenda. Just like you can't say that 2 layer design is good if you hold like the coin, and bad if you don't hold like the coin. You know things are bad when you see the CEO of THE DARKCOIN FOUNDATION INC. say this: Simply based on the lack of a proper driving force or incentive structure, the project has little chance of success in our eyes and I'll be unwinding my position over the next few weeks.
ROFL tabloid headlines FTW. You know of course that he said that about a different coinHeh. You must be *so much* fun at parties, Captain Bringdown... ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

"No Premine?" Ya right. As if. 1) Dash's developer, Evan Duffield, released Dash before it's intended release date(Which means the instamine could also be partly counted as a premine)
Exactly. The coins which were mined previous to the announced release date are obviously premined, whether or not they were included in the genesis block. ^this makes the most sense. If I hold an election and votes cast in the first hours are worth more than votes cast afterwords, the vote would always have an asterisk next to it in the history books if the election date was moved up in the middle of the night and/or only those with rare credentials or at the right location were able to vote.

The troll-run is soooo intimidating btw. Especially when all of the volume is done by devs, bagholders and con-victims all pooled together in one exchange! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FzYy4Msl.png&t=663&c=bzOlZQqZEOvi7A) LOL, looks like you are upset about Dash getting #buttrekt today compared to another privacy coin (that us up 23%). Dash is almost a year older than the coin you compared it to, so of course it's on more exchanges. Dash is also based on Bitcoin/Peercoin, so it's simple for exchanges to add. Integrating coins which are 100% different from BTC/PPC takes longer.

Need multisig before this is even plausible. Too many shady DMNs...
Markets can use multisig'd BTC internally, with XMR as the on/off ramp. It's easy with xmr.to and shapeshift.

Correct me if im wrong, but i always thought it was an instamine rather than a premine, still im annoyed i didnt mine them earlier or at least buy a few because i could have had fun while it lasted and dumped the whole lot in the beginning lol.

You are the one trying to define "premine" so strictly it excludes Dash, just to sneak past CMC's shitcoin filter. My logic is sound, as generalizethis and Prosperityforall agreed: The coins which were mined previous to the announced release date are obviously premined

The topic of this thread is Dash, not your epic buttburn about Peter Todd's successful trolling.
So ''successfull'' for you is when nothing happenned. You know, you are succesfulll too ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Nothing happened as a result of Peter Todd calling Dash "snake oil" and "bad crypto" (in contrast to his judgement of Monero's "good crypto.") Except for the pages of raging frothy buttburn in this thread. And a huge Monero rally, while Dash languishes. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FN8kEVrM.png&t=663&c=nD8g4OQgv3caFA) Oops, I did it again! ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)
