521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / One of my card requires unusually high voltage on: April 27, 2017, 02:51:47 PM

This is the default settings.

Most other cards I can undervolt to 910 volt

This card requires 930 mv

Not only that,

I wonder what is P1, P2, P3, P4, p5, p6 and P7?

It seems that the only things that matter is P7 right?

If I change value of P2 - P6 my rig crash

After that the radeon settings is "restored"

However, I wonder what's exactly going wrong?

What should I do? Check event viewer in windows? what?

This is the setting that's stable. However, as you see from screen shot, things are strange for P2 - P6.

If I use this settings instead

It'll crash

My indexes at watttool is

20
0
8
14
2
36

It seems that hardware monitor uses the exact same indexes watttool uses.

That's probably why you cannot detect my GPU temperatures

https://minerstat.com/public/jimtom.html

Your program search for temperature of GPU with index 24, for example, and there is no GPU with 24 index. The only matching GPU is the one with 0 index.

Your system always download 0.ini, 6.ini, 12.ini, 18.ini, 24.ini, and 30.ini

I think most of your users do not have watttool with those indexes.

I opened watttool directory and I found this in 6.ini

[General]
NoGUI=1
[Adapter]
Index=6
[GPU]
Mode=Manual
P1_CLK=608
P1_VID=818
P2_CLK=910
P2_VID=837

So the watttool profile that is sent from your server has index 6. But there is no card with index 6 on my card.

is there a way to change my watttool index so that it match your indexes?

Or, do other people, for some reasons, have the same watttool indexes like you? 0, 6,12,18,24,30? I got 2 rigs and the number always differ. I wonder what the trick is to get such neat numbers 0,2,4,6,8,24 or 0,2,8,14,20,36

I wonder where you store those inis? Maybe I can see what's in it and check the issue.

Extended view has issues

This is what I found on extended views

...

It says I am mining XMR. I don't. I am mining ethererum. The

clasicall few is correct

...

Also, I only see temperature in GPU 0. How can I see temperature for all GPU?

Thank you, i check it now. GPU datas sent by OHM. (Open Hardware Monitor)

How do I have public page like

https://minerstat.com/public/coinscrow.html

Also we uses your watttool feature. Our watttool have these indexes by the way:

GPU-z   Wattool   Watttool Index   PCI-e   Claymore   zecminer   power   voltage   mem voltage
0   4   20   1   4   4      910   900   samsung
1   0   0   0   1   1   75   910   900   samsung
2   2   8   2   5   5      910   900
3   3   14   3   2   2      910   900
4   1   2   4   3   3      910   900
5   5   36   5   0   0      910   900

I saw 0.ini 6.ini 12.ini 18.ini 24.ini and 30.ini downloaded.

Well, that's not the actual number that shows up if I open wattool.

So how do I reconcile those numbers?

Settings >> Public Profile
Same like in WattTool program, by GPU id. 0 is 0 on the website to.

SOME NEWS ABOUT THE NEW CLIENT!!
- No more console UI.
- This is not the final version, i just testing.
- Come soon with another improvements.

What do you mean by GPU id?

Our watttool have these GPU "indexes"
20
0
8
14
2
36

It corresponds to GPU

4
1
5
2
3
0

in claymore

It corresponds to
Gpu number
0
1
2
3
4
5

in GPUz.

I saw 6.ini downloaded. However, there is no GPU in our rig with index 6. We have 0, 2, 8, 14, 20, 36. And it changes from one rig to another, though the sequence is always the same.

Here, let me show you the watttool screenshot of mine

Wattage of the PSU is the output ability not input.

that's right, but don't worry, chieftec will blow up soon at such high load

What does it mean

Code:
ETH: GPU0 30.030 Mh/s, GPU1 30.102 Mh/s, GPU2 30.114 Mh/s, GPU3 30.101 Mh/s, GPU4 30.104 Mh/s, GPU5 30.104 Mh/s

GPU #5 got incorrect share. If you see this warning often, make sure you did not overclock it too much!
GPU0 t=60C fan=71%
ETH: 04/27/17-00:51:21 - New job from europe.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17020

ETH: Share accepted (172 ms)!
ETH: 04/27/17-00:51:27 - New job from europe.et

In one hand it says I got 426 Total shares rejected 0. The it says GPU 5 got incorrect share. Which one is right?

Also which shares are found and sent to stratum? The 426 shares or the share found - (GPU 2)

Also I can't find

SHARE FOUND - (GPU 5) anywhere. It's as if GPU 5 is always wrong.

Restarting miner seems fix the problem

Actually how many "shares" do I got if logs are like these

Code:
ETH - Total Speed: 180.896 Mh/s, Total Shares: 6, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:03
ETH: GPU0 30.118 Mh/s, GPU1 30.099 Mh/s, GPU2 30.107 Mh/s, GPU3 30.105 Mh/s, GPU4 30.103 Mh/s, GPU5 30.407 Mh/s

Basically I got Total Shares: 10 followed by 2-3 SHARE FOUND message. So do I get 10 shares or 2-3 shares? Which one is correct?

I mined just fine at miningpoolhub. Now I tried to mine at suprnova.cc I have these problems

I only need to double mine dcr because miningpoolhub does not have it.

Hello, I have error this:

"claymore-eth log file doesn't exits"

and this "HardwareMonitor log file doesn't exits"

What is this mean ?
What pools do you support? Do you support miningpoolhub?

The thing is I am using their coin switching port. So how does your software knows the rigs' profit?
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: dcr.suprnova.cc - Suprnova's Decred Pool on: April 26, 2017, 07:47:34 AM
is the pool running now?

I tried to run this exact command

ethdcrminer64.exe -epool eth.suprnova.cc:5005 -ewal suprnova.1 -epsw x -esm 3 -dpool dcr.suprnova.cc:3252 -dwal suprnova.1 -dpsw x -allpools 1

It often gives some bad connection and json ethdcrminer can't read.

I also tried

Bin\Ethash-Claymore\EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool europe.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17020 -ewal pornluver.multipoolminer -epsw x -esm 3 -allpools 1 -dpool dcr.suprnova.cc:3252 -dwal pornluver.decred -dpsw x -dcoin dcr -dcri 30

All my shares are rejected.

In multipoolminer and miningpoolhub what's important is our username. Password and worker names are not important. What about in suprnova?

Pool down currently, will be back up once I can convince the daemon to run stable

Is this something I can look on your website?

I am thinking of making a program that will automatically pick the best miner and the best algorithm and run it. I want to collect some dev fee. Looks like I can't do it efficiently.
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How many of you use dual PSU? on: April 26, 2017, 03:02:55 AM
I have hundreds of altcoin rigs running 2-3 PSUs.....there is no reason not to especially since you can power the graphics cards off of higher end server power supplies at a fraction of the cost of an expensive ATX supply.

You can buy a cheap no name brand ATX psu to power the board and run a high quality PSU on the graphics cards.
The price of dual PSU is much cheaper than single PSU

Enermax 1500 watt is $250
Enermax 700 watt is around $70

Atx connector is only $7

So dual PSU is far more cost efficient.

However, some says we need higher quality PSU. I have no idea why.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How many of you use dual PSU? on: April 25, 2017, 06:36:51 PM
Is enermax okay? 2 times 700 watt? Many says that enermax is okay for single PSU. But using dual PSU with enermax is not recommended. Why?

Do they disconnect from current pool, connect to their pool, and mine, or do they have faster way of "switching"?

Which one is right?

What happen to Claymore? What method does he use?
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: April 25, 2017, 06:31:27 PM
If I look at dashboard for ethereum it goes here
Round Shares [Submitted shares since last found block (ie. round shares)]
Est. Shares    18,089,206 (done: 0%)
Your Valid    0.0000
Your Invalid    0.0000 (0.00%)

My valid and my invalid are always 0.

Also aaron, how do you mine your devfee?

The reason I ask is will you have to disconnect from current pool and mine and then disconnect again from miningpoolhub and then continue?

Or does claymore allow temporary change of username?

Also I got email from miningpoolhub that my rig is off. Great idea. I think I turned on something called monitor. I want to do it again. How do I? I forget.

there is some page link to understand better period under bonus?

How much will autoexchange cost?

And how much time it would take?

It doesn't cost anything.
I mean total "effective" costs

For example, if you exchange ethereum to bitcoin and then to ethereum again you will get a bit less right? That's because you pay buying price and sell at selling price.

I wonder how much that would be?

Divide that by 2. That's your cost plus transaction fee.

Please add diamond coin on miningpoolhub. It's doing well there
