761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How much power AMD 480 cost? on: March 15, 2017, 03:49:21 PM
And how do we know that the GPU have enough power?

For example, say I bought a PSU with 900 watt for 6 AMD 480 GPU.

How do I know that the stuff have enough power? is there a meter I can attach to each GPU to measure how much power each use?
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How much memory should I have for alt coin mining? on: March 15, 2017, 01:59:25 PM
I am not asking for the memory in the video card. I am asking for the memory in the computer.

Alt coin mining do not seem to require tons of memory

Yeah, also philip was talking about RAM on the mobo and not on GPUs.
I am currently mining on 6GPU rigs with just 4Gb of memory and 32Gb off virtual memory.

More details: I am mining ETH or ETH+something and I do not have any problem
Maybe it's different if you mine ZEC or some other algo, but i don't think so

I wonder what CPU memory is for?
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Any good motherboard for alt mining tons of pci-e with LGA 1155 socket on: March 15, 2017, 01:40:25 PM
I like Asus BTC pro. It requires CPU with 1150 sockets.

Is there something like that that can use LGA 1155 socket?

Alternatively, what would be a good CPU for 1150 sockets? At tokopedia I can buy tons of cheap used CPU with 1155 sockets. That's why I like 1150 sockets.

765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do we really need special motherboard? on: March 15, 2017, 01:07:44 PM
Oh

So not all motherboard would work.

What I am thinking is that the power go from power supply straight to the GPU. All that we need next is for the GPU to transfer data, and only data, to the motherboard.

That is why I cannot understand why USB don't cut it.

I know USB don't handle much power. But power goes from power supply straight to the GPU.
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 470 / GTX 1060 / RX 480 / GTX 1070 on: March 15, 2017, 11:11:33 AM
How much power supply do I need?

How much each amd 480 need?

The specs say that it needs 500 w power supply. Do AMD 480 need 500 w power supply or just 100 w power supply each? If I have 6 AMD 480 how much power supply would I need? What about disk? Do you use SSD or HD?

Ram? is 4GB of CPU ram enough?
767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How much memory should I have for alt coin mining? on: March 15, 2017, 10:39:05 AM
4 GB? 8 GB?

I think I need SSD 120GB for operating system to save power.\

Then I would need a mobo with tons of pci-e

I still don't understand something. Why pci-e 1 x is enough for alt coin mining? Does mining alt coins do not require too much bandwidth or what? Will this reduce GPU performance?

I think that is all right?
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do we really need special motherboard? on: March 14, 2017, 01:02:45 PM
For example, just look at this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWVyutw3hZk

the guy don't just put all of his 7 card on the motherboard. There will be too many video card on very small spaces.

So he uses something else to connect those card to motherboard. I don't exactly know what.

He uses MSI Z97

However, that MSI 797 doesn't have pci-e connectors. It has a bunch of PCI connectors.

Mate, are you new to mining?

These are simple pci-e 1x to 16x risers, it's what we all use to create our 6+ GPU miners. And FYI, this MSI board has only pci-e connectors (7 of them: 3x 16's and 4x 1's)

EDIT: this is what you're looking for https://www.amazon.com/6-Pack-PCI-E-Powered-Adapter-Extension/dp/B01GU94QSQ/ref=pd_lpo_147_bs_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=TFVX63ME3HC4Z9FRYTSZ

That is exactly what I am asking.

So it has 3 * 16 and 4 * 1. All of them are called PCI-e connector. I see. Now what about the 4*1. Will that degrade the video card performance in mining?

All I need is  CPU with tons of pci-e connector then if it's not.

Also they use a USB 3.0 cable to connect 3*16 to the 4*1 one. So why can't they connect to USB slot straight?

I don't need just 7 or 6 rig mobo.

I need something cost effective, with plenty of air. Basically I need something or alt miner uses.

I've heard you take 3% from buyers and 3% from sellers. So mining with you means we got less than mining directly or other pools with lower fees?

Wrong, read OP.

Well, what is right then? Your fee is 3% right? I am using you and try to buy from you here. So I want to know

774  Other / Meta / Where can I find my topics I started or my posts? on: March 14, 2017, 08:22:14 AM
One way to do so is to create a post (I always want to post something), and then click my own username and tada. I see my posts.

There have to be easier ways.

Hi,

My order

2353987

is death.

There is no explanation whatsoever why it's death. I have no idea why. How do I know. There is a delta of -8%. Is this why? However, no money is taken yet. Nothing.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I find more price per table coins like this on: March 12, 2017, 04:18:53 PM
Basically I need something like coinwars but with normal table. Not compound table like

777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Is there alternative to miningpoolhub.com on: March 12, 2017, 04:07:02 PM
I created a few workers at them

I verified the pool using nicehash pool verifer.

I passed.

Then I tried again.

Exact same info.

I don't pass.

I tried to contact support but there is no such thing.

I don't know who have problems. Is it nice hash or miningpoolhub.

I need alternatives.

I started mining with gtx 1060 and got $1 per day.

I am new to this industry.

With tons of PCI-e slots?

What about a regular motherboard with tons of USB slots or tons of normal PCI slots?

What about external video card?
