521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best low marketcap coins on: January 18, 2018, 05:38:04 PM
There are new coins/tokens getting into the market everyday.

1447 altcoins listed today.... Really?

This is the clearest evidence of the global scamming environment crypto is now experiencing.

Beware of all those new ultimate, ultra, super, mega projects!
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 2 altcoins to invest in NOW. on: January 18, 2018, 05:35:53 PM
Guys, forget about the ICOs as they are too risky.

Yes, you can make a lot of money overnight same as you can lose it all.

Instead, why don't you bet on a reliable project, 4 years old, generating passive income via PoS v3?

This is the future, check out DMD and you won't regret it.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: January 18, 2018, 05:32:43 PM
I'm not sure that this moment will come in 2018. I think that people are not yet ready to give up bitcoins. This is a matter of faith. Bitcoin is highly overrated, but the problem is that a huge number of people believe in it. If the Ethereum decides its problems, it is possible that next year we will have a new king.

ETH can never compete with BTC as long as they are both PoW.

If ETH's fork to Casper leads to a successful PoS implementation than users will realise how profitable that can be.

That's ETH's only change to get to the top.
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 seems like a good year for ALTCOIN on: January 18, 2018, 05:29:51 PM
It is a good year for Altcoins i believe, with new legit projects being launched into the market, it will be interesting to see how the market reacts and how those Altcoins react too.

Everyone is ok with the legit projects but what about the growing number of scams?

1447 altcoins/tokens?

This is the real problem; serious projects are being obscured by super hyped scams!

Let's hope 2018 is the to clean crypto from all the filth...

527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins are dying !!! on: January 15, 2018, 11:51:37 PM
Altcoins are not dying but instead are growing like mushrooms, today there are 1440 listed in coinmarketcap.com.

Obviously most of them are trash, but still altcoins are anything but dying.

The good ones are thriving!

528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: January 15, 2018, 07:26:47 PM
You should buy PoS coins, particularly DMD.

It's stable, profitable and it has been growing even with all the market turbulence.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 seems like a good year for ALTCOIN on: January 15, 2018, 07:17:58 PM
From the looks of things other cryptocurrencies are really rising this year
Look at Ripple it is second on the marketcap

I think that 2018 will be the year of different periods like it was in 2017. But common tendency to grow will continue I am sure. So it is time to invest in the coins we believe. They will grow inevitably.
For any market, not only cryptocurrency market, the history trend will not repeat again in future. You have to know it is only the thinking of investor created by the value of Bitcoin. But I am sure Bitcoin can be the next dot com bubble and make the world get big panic time again Smiley.

The burst of the crypto bubble is definitively a possibility just as the increased growth is. There are huge amounts of fresh money entering crypto causing some exchanges to close the registration of new users.

Who knows what's to happen? Where is Bitmain going to relocate it's mining operations? What will South Korea do in legislative terms? What about the EU?

So many questions, such uncertainty...  Huh
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 2 altcoins to invest in NOW. on: January 15, 2018, 07:07:13 PM
Some ICOs might be a good bet, but the risk is great.

A safe bet is to pick a 4 year old project with already given proofs of stability and profitability. Which one? Diamond Coin, obviously!
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All crypto prices are going down. on: January 15, 2018, 06:59:55 PM
Its natural for prices to pump and dump. Soon they will go up but before they do so, make sure you buy now.

True that, it's a perfect time to buy some alt coins and make big money on that. Sometimes the income from pump and dump may be even bigger than 100% but sometimes you can loose a lot. It's like a roulette.

That's true for most altcoins and for the crypto market in general but there are some remarkable exceptions when it comes to stability.

Take a close look at Diamond's 3 month chart:

Solid projects are less affected by the general turbulence, that's a fact!
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: January 15, 2018, 06:48:41 PM
ETH has a strong 2nd place in terms of market cap and keeps growing in value. If 2018 proves to be a crazy year like 2017 was, who knows what might happen?

I don't believe any coin/token can overcome BTC neither in marketcap nor in value in the present year but ETH is surely closing the gap...  Grin
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining will ever stop ? on: January 15, 2018, 06:41:59 PM
interesting thing wil happen when ETHEREUM will go PoS
many gpu`s are mining ETHEREUM, there will be too much free hashpower spreading

I'm looking forward to have a PoS wallet minting ETH and generating passive revenue like I'm doing now with other PoS coins.

Mining will never stop, not only because is at the core of the PoW mechanism but also because there will always be a profitable coin to mine at least for those with free electricity.

But the future will be PoS, no question about that!
534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin on: January 15, 2018, 06:38:20 PM
As crypto market matures is becomes even more clear that BTC is losing it's former dominance due to the fact that many altcoins have better tech specs, better network performance and are more lucrative not only via day trading but also via mining/staking.

I'm holding some BTC but and also betting on ETH and DMD.

Altcoins will keep on rising and BTC developers have to keep up otherwise investors will keep on betting on alternative projects.

For the long term I believe a good strategy is to hold some BTC but bet also in good altcoins.

535  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to buy today? on: January 15, 2018, 06:27:09 PM
This is the 1 million question! I can't imagine a person who can say that for sure. But, if you wanna a guess, here is mine: buy anyone between top 10 and you'll be fine. Just hold, take your time and you'll get profit.

This might be a good advice but it also might be a bad one... Can anyone guarantee all the top 10 will keep on growing? I strongly doubt that!

I believe some of the current top 10 are super hyped and might collapse at any instant. On the top 10 I would only bet on BTC, ETH and LTC.

A better advice might be to buy a good top 200 coin, with a solid reputation and a clear future strategy. There are a few on fit in this description but my money is on Diamond Coin. Just check it out.

537  Local / Portugal / Re: Manutenção da Carteira Kraken on: January 12, 2018, 04:30:10 PM
Bom dia amigos/as.

538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to choose good coin!? on: January 12, 2018, 04:22:39 PM
Look at that recent evolution:

When everything is falling apart, the good coins still grow.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 2 altcoins to invest in NOW. on: January 12, 2018, 04:19:18 PM
Guys, take a look at this 3 month chart:

This is stability!

Actually, it's stable growth! Amid the turmoil, DMD systematically rises!
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 seems like a good year for ALTCOIN on: January 12, 2018, 04:06:05 PM

I think that 2018 will be an overall good year for cryptocurrencies, but we also need to keep in mind that after a bull market like this there will sooner or later be a bear market as well. Maybe even in 2018. Im expecting that the bull run on altcoins will continue until may/ june 2018 and then a bear market for alts will start again as it was the case in 2017. Well my chrystal ball is broken at the moment, but thats my gut feeling. Time will tell how markets moved in the end.

I believe the change might happen sooner, pending on the news from China and Korea.
