521  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Showing incorrect Bitcoin Price.. on: January 22, 2024, 07:16:26 AM
I have just verified my app and it's showing correctly all values (all exchanges ...)
have you updated your app?
have you tried to restart your phone/change internet connection?
are you using a VPN or something like this?
have you tried also other exchange to be selected for this value?
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do i handle my first gambling experience on: January 22, 2024, 07:12:23 AM
before becoming a "gambler" I would suggest studying money management, mathematics, odds, events and in general the statistics behind gambling in general.
play without money (likewise you write on a piece of paper your predictions) or much better play with pennies.

ironically the first time you play probably you will win "beginner's luck" we call in Italy.
Pay attention, some games have designs specifically designed to "reward" the casual/first time player...
523  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: BITCOIN PUMP! on: January 22, 2024, 06:43:06 AM
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: January 21, 2024, 04:48:12 PM
Patience is the key in any aspect of life.
"the hasty cat gave birth to the blind kittens" we say this in italy.
in gambling patience is a must and bookmakers are aware of this ... that's why there is a lot of pressure for placing bets in a short time trying to get high odds. or games like slots/multiplier play small amount of money and win a large sum quickly

The game of gambling isn't something that people with low patience can survive be it the different types of gambling @sports betting  @casino games like dice and slots, patience is still the key to survive. Sometimes anxiousness and anxiety can make a gambler take decision that he might end up regretting.

Today I experience this ill feeling although am okay now but I thought I should share my experience and thought with some of the gamblers here to see if we are on the same page.

I made a very wrong decision on a game I staked today and this is unlike me because I don't normally check on my games until its settled because sometimes you will tempted with some crazy things like cash-out which is what I did today and although you won't blame me to some extent but still if I was patient enough as the final results if the games came through and Instead of winning the whole money, I got only a fraction of the funds.
525  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Trouble withdrawing from Kucoin? on: January 21, 2024, 04:33:55 PM
are you sure you're using the right/official Kucoin exchange?
can you post here your messages (screenshot) and url that you have used?
It's something shady if someone ask to deposit money...if you want withdraw it... it's a kind of nonsense and a big "red sign" ...
also showing an amount in a wallet... there is no reason for doing that ...
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it bother you when dealers change during play? on: January 21, 2024, 04:21:56 PM
maybe it's boring because the game is interrupted or at least slowed down. or maybe because players are a little superstitious!
maybe many people leave because "a beautiful girl" is replaced by a boy? I don't know, I'm not sexist but I would also see it from this point of view. in practice nothing changes, I don't even pay attention to these stuffs.

528  Local / Trading, analisi e speculazione / Re: Opinioni su Mexc Global on: January 21, 2024, 12:58:49 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5322338.0

tempo addietro usavo una carta advcash non so se sono ancora attivi / permettono sempre di usare metodi no KYC (ma parliamo veramente di un'epoca in cui non sapevamo manco che significava Wink KYC )
529  Local / Trading, analisi e speculazione / Re: Opinioni su Mexc Global on: January 20, 2024, 08:08:11 PM

530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: January 20, 2024, 08:02:46 PM
Stole money (to a parent or family member) it's a dismal practice. I can't see any justification on this.

I will get completely upset, it's a failure for a mother such gesture Sad and the guy MUST be corrected and understand how sad is something like this.

No, this guy will never win a "multi million bet". It's just a math stuff... if all people that are betting will hit a "multi million bet" everyone was betting and no bookmakers where still alive!
This is a BIG mistake have this "hope" maybe he can win. More over, if this guy was so smart with betting why he need to "stole money"?
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The worst situation you're in that you regret that you learn about gambling on: January 20, 2024, 07:53:41 PM
I have a close friend that spends around 20/30% of his salary despite he needs that money maybe for an holiday or just some health issue. Of course he is not earning one euro from this activity.
I don't like that he is wasting so much money on this activity but it seems kind impossible he can change his aptitude... "I will get a xxxx euro win" .... I think this is just a mental justification likewise "I continue to bet because I like it...and I can't stop it"
Gambling led people to lie. Not only to other people but also to ourselves.
532  Economy / Lending / Re: $2000 USDT Loan for a long term. on: January 20, 2024, 06:32:33 PM
Good point. I guess I won't be able to payback in the next six months. So, the repayment should be in August 2024. No, I don't want to pay any interest. This is the reason I am going to provide 10% more Bitcoin as collateral. But, I may appreciate the person for helping but I don't want to specify anything. If I specify anything, that is Interest.
This is just too one-sided. I get it if it's for 1 week and someone wants to help out another forum user. But for six months, zero interest? That's insane. Tongue

What happens if BTC falls 10%? The user needs to sell the BTC, potentially at a loss, pay trading and withdrawal fees... all of that for nothing. Even US bonds are paying a 5% yield.

definitely. 8 months and no interest for such long time has no advantage for lender... he get only risks and has 0 earning.
Of course OP you're freely to ask any condition you want for your loan, but I think you must evaluate also the option for the lender. (it's much more convenient just "invest" these usd and not loan for 0 interest).
533  Economy / Lending / Re: $2000 USDT Loan for a long term. on: January 20, 2024, 04:31:35 PM
I think you must clarify when you are going to pay back this loan "long term" doesn't mean anything at least to me.
Sure this amount of btc could reach 3000$ but if not? People have just taking a risk without earn nothing?
moreover you don't plan any interest on this/deadline /limits for payment back?
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Draw betting strategy on: January 19, 2024, 10:51:18 PM
I don't see any really helpful strategy for get draw bets or having a better statistics on this. Generally these results are really hard to be achieved. I will try to focus more in draw no bets (the opposite of a draw bet). In the past I was betting a lot with exchange and final score results. Of course draw are the highest Sad like 0-0 (odds around 10-12 in each match... a kind of holy grail of draw betting)
535  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: January 19, 2024, 05:09:46 AM
"bitcoin is money or not" there is a specific classification that changes from country to country.
OP you should keep in mind that the majority of compliance arise from requests to complete KYC procedures.
I don't see casinos that have this type of license in a negative way.
There are systems that "by default" cannot be regulated or managed... I would suggest focusing on these if you don't accept this step through a centralized entity.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Instant Bitcoin on: January 18, 2024, 10:07:56 PM
I don't want to advertise anything. But isn't it true that if instant version of btc is invented such protocol starts to beat bitcoin?
There is a new protocol that is identical to BTC. PoW, maximum supply cap, halvings. But it is instant. Real-time payments in the first layer. Practically, Bitcoin 2.0. I just don't understand. Am I the only one who sees it?
The only Btc problem is speed. And it is solved. That btc copy is instant. Because i just don't understand why no one else sees it.

anyone can copy bitcoin but this not means you will obtain the same "bitcoin" that we have nowadays.
Likewise how has been distributed, it's something unique. It's useless try to find this new second standard also because we know very well crypto currencies and it's not anymore a "novelty".
There is LN that is pretty fast and easy to be used. I don't think this is a missing feature in bitcoin
537  Economy / Gambling / Re: Football predictions for today on: January 18, 2024, 09:58:33 PM
I like always winning free predictions Smiley
OP if you want post more you're welcome.
I am pretty curious also to read more about your experience, what type of game you like, tips for betting and much more...
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING DISORDER on: January 18, 2024, 09:55:14 PM
for sure OP you need some PROFESSIONAL help. Rehab? Prescription Drugs? Consultancies?
I don't know.
However, I think you're on the right way if you have identified a problem and you think a change is achievable.
Don't feel shy, don't feel guilty, go straight and fight properly you will win with the right approach.
539  Economy / Reputation / Re: Farewell on: January 18, 2024, 12:57:28 PM
