What I concerns the most is not what the NODE supporters said,
but how's going with the custom chain development,
and the release date of SDK, which claimed to be in 15th Sept in the roadmap.
Release date of Windows wallet was months ago, but we still don't have it. So custom blockchains .... is far far away from us.  Cheesy

We tested it, it works good now.
It will be released with 0.1.6d (tomorrow i hope).

In previous message i post info about custom blockchains.

yes yes not have wallet in tomorrow will be fail

Just for reference, there is no deadline for release. We will release it when it is ready and not a moment sooner. Whether that is tomorrow, next thursday, or Christmas, it doesn't matter. It's ready when it's ready. We don't want to release anything that hasn't been properly tested and vetted.

yes ofc but i say whit mintal not having win wallet rdy will be fail. just stateds it,maybe silly comment but sure

Don't get me wrong, we would love to have it out tomorrow for sure.
I know in some prior press releases, that you guys outlined the release dates for a number of things. But then team members have said different dates on the forums. Try to refrain from commenting on releases unless you are quite certain that you can deliver.. As it just creates confusion and some frustration, not to mention numerous posts of people asking the same thing..
Regards,
Brian

Is Crypti forked?
No new block and transaction dates are showing happening in 1970/5/20?

http://live.crypti.me/

No, it's known bug, not fork.

Network working now
okay good. I was wondering the same thing. Look forward to the release of the Windows wallet. Hopefully will be added to mintpal soon as well and the price will start to appreciate even more Smiley

Okay for my fourth post on this. Think of Crypti as beta software. If you cannot relate, then this coin is not for you. I'll be gladly buying more as people sell.. Maybe we should say Crypti is in the beta stages. So people can try to comprehend things
525  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.01 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE on: September 16, 2014, 10:50:09 PM
Okay I've added the signature. I hope you get some business and both can benefit Smiley
if you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Brian

everyone that doesn't realize it already... This coin is being made from the ground up, thus it requires a bit more patience than others. Think of it as beta testing.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypti - XCR - Ͼ - 3 PoS algorithms - Ed25519 - Next Gen New Source - Launched! on: September 09, 2014, 07:14:51 AM
Status update

We are now testing the latest 0.1.6c version, which drastically reduces the synchronization time. Once it passes our tests, the version will be released to public.

Also a working version of Windows Crypti node was released to Foundation members for testing on their Windows machines. We are gathering their feedback in order to advance to the public release.
thanks for the update. Look forward to the windows wallet.
Regards,
Brian

We have problems now with billing on crypti.me
Once i will get response from hoster support it will work again.

Some news, i'm now working with fork processing fixes, blockchain loading, and sync.
Come on
the web wallet is up. The main website is down. Hopefully that is shortly..
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypti - XCR - Ͼ - 3 PoS algorithms - Ed25519 - Next Gen New Source - Launched! on: September 07, 2014, 08:14:09 PM
I think my node is on its own fork.

On the 'blockchain' page of the wallet all of the blocks shown are generated by me, and the balance is different from what I see if I log in to wallet.crypti.me.

How did I end up on a fork and what should I do?

Are you on 0.1.6b?

Yes.

Hmm, the devs will have to check that out. It seems that the forking problems from the 0.1.4 version have risen again.

This is getting ridiculous. I've spent countless hours trying to get a working Crypti node, and however many days it is waiting for the next release, then the next release, and so on. And in all this time the longest I've had it working for is a few hours.

This is unlike 99% of the other coins out there. It is being built from the ground up. So there is going to be a lot of testing and tweaking things to get everything working perfect. Think of it as a beta version of software.. If you do not have patience for it, sell your coins and move along.

Regards,
Brian

can't wait to forge on my windows  Smiley
It was a bit of an oversight to leave this for so long after launch, but I think we have ignition to primary thrusters. Liftoff in T- minus 10....
Houston we have a problem....

I believe they are working on it. Hopefully there will be an update soon.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypti - XCR - Ͼ - 3 PoS algorithms - Ed25519 - Next Gen New Source - Launched! on: September 07, 2014, 05:25:19 AM
somebody dumps crypti Angry. any news about windows wallet? and what about code audit?

Part of code already sent to audit team.

Which audit team did you send? When will complete?

the team have been pretty straightforward with everything. They have been verified by coin source. So we know who they are and know how to get in touch with them. Yes, an audit hasn't been performed. They released an update and appears to be working well. I didn't expect this dump or I wouldn't have bought more coins. But today's volume is only about 16.6 BTC, so hardly a big dump...
regards,
Brian

Note: I have no affiliation with team Crypti. Other than I purchased a couple BTC

Right, we need more devs. We still have open position: http://brainstorage.me/jobs/22455

I would love to contribute but unfortunately your project is not open source.

Release your source code and I'm sure that you will find plenty of developers interested in helping.

Why would they help when they can copy pasta it all and do it themselves? No incentives these days rly  Wink

it's not open source for valid reasons.. With that said, these are paid positions/jobs. Open source is free and more of a donation (work).

What happened to 0.1.6? It was going to be released shortly. That was 11 days ago.

Yep I think that they need more developers like NXT.

But they're working on that, should speed up things.  Smiley

Right, we need more devs. We still have open position: http://brainstorage.me/jobs/22455
Try posting your job openings on more than one freelance site. You can always have people inquire about your openings and then tell them to go to your current job site. Either way, you just get people interested in the project.

I like that, there is no deadline. So we can't be late.. They thought it would be done today (wallet), but understand their are sometimes delays when working with freelancers.

Apparently it takes more than a month for someone to check the code.

Anyone believe that?

I got a bridge to sell you. Lol

move along.. If you don't like what you see.. They're working on it

Another item I would like to see on the list of things to implement, although not directly to XCR the coin, is an email distribution list for wallet/forge updates, Major announcements, etc.

informer

We have a mailchimp account and will have a signup membership to be Foundation members as well as one to be notified of updates. This will all be part of the site re-design.

When can we expect the re-design by? Also GreXX any update on the expanded info for the roadmap?

I should have the expanded info up tonight or tomorrow.

As far as the re-design, we are having trouble finding the right designer and are still interviewing candidates. We will let you all know when someone is hired and we begin work.

If you really want to hire the best designers out there, post a Job Listing on Dribbble : https://dribbble.com/jobs. Companies like Facebook, Google, Amazon, Microsoft etc have all sourced designers from Dribbble. There is no single place where you can find better talented designers than on Dribbble.

You can even hire multiple designers and organize them to work in teams, much like what Dropbox is doing : https://dribbble.com/dropbox. I guarantee you, that you will find the best designers on Dribbble, there is no other place like it.

Secondly, why hire only one designer? Given the amount of funding, I would recommend hiring two designers, with one specializing in UI/UX and the other in Web Design. That way you can delegate design tasks between them, the UX designer could design the mock-ups and hand it over to the other to code it. Secondly with separate designers for each design field you could have one working on the wallet UI and the other on the new site.

You could also hire entire teams to do your initial design work. The team will have it's own internal developers, web designers, UI Designers, Motion Authors etc. For example here is one of the leading design teams : https://dribbble.com/Creativedash

The last thing I recommend is providing Design Guidelines for new designers coming into the team. Once Crypti has been re-branded and everything has settled down it is critical that your current designers create a "Guidelines" so that new designers that come into the team can maintain the same design style that was previously used. For example here's a typical design guideline presentation from another company : http://www.julienrenvoye.fr/corefx/

With just a 5 minute look at a few profiles it's obvious that there are some really talented people on Dribble. Do you know what average pricing is for these guys? What kind of salaries do they typically look for (U.S. based designers)?

I know, you guys have raised some funds.. But US based designers are quite expensive, minimum $25 an hour and up to $75. I'd suggest other countries and can get some great work done. I've spent tens of thousands on freelance work. So have some experience in that field.. I'd post a couple projects on freelance sites and evaluate the candidates. I do have some contacts that might work out well for the jobs, if you're interested. There more affordable and do quality work at the same time.
Regards,

Never EVER go with freelancers, although they may get the work done quickly and cheaply, the quality of their work is never good. Rather spend that extra bit of money on a quality design team or designer instead of taking half measures.

The Crypti devs want Crypti to compete with Stripe, PayPal etc head on and if Crypti's website or wallet doesn't look good, then it's dead before it's even started. Do you think the average Joe is going to spend time reading Crypti's whitepaper? No, the average Joe pays more attention to how something looks rather than how it functions behind the scenes. That is why Crypti's design is one of its most important aspects.

Maybe, you haven't had some good experience with freelance designers. I've had good luck with them over the years.. But, you have to be selective and evaluate each candidate thoroughly...
regards,
Brian
