I might round up some stuff in the next week and give you a shout.

I've a heap of stuff here, and selling on eBay isn't very profitable once the seller fees come out.  Plus there's always the morons who buy stuff and don't know how to use it.  Roll Eyes

sounds like a plan drop me a PM

I have £10-£15k of hardware I want to shift at below trade price in one job lot. There is a lot of cooling, ram, older gpus etc. Interested?

unfortuantely thats too much in one go atm, i'm just starting out Wink but maybe in the future Smiley

Whats the biggest chunk you could take.

nowhere near that much - but it depends what gear you're shifting and what i can do with it Wink PM me with details

i wouldnt buy one again Wink (my 6850 is an XFX Cry - its great at heating my office! - only going to use it for BTC mining instead of scrypt as its too hot for LTC - will be the first to get replaced!

i'm currently pulling 400-420 at the wall with the 5850 and 5870 mining litecoins @ 720

i'm just using what i already have atm, i currently have 1x 5850, 1x 5870 and 1x 6850 - looking at a 7850 or two atm (litecoin mining atm) the PSU is a Corsair 850w
534  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: open air case - help? on: June 04, 2013, 11:00:49 AM
I have a ASUS P5W64 WS PROFESSIONAL motherboard - 4x PCIe 16x slots

foam underneath from a motherboard box might be an idea i guess... although i do have an old server case (HP ML310) that i might be able to strip the motherboard tray from Wink
535  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / open air case - help? on: June 04, 2013, 10:49:13 AM
i have my mining rig currently installed in an InWin Track case, but i want to add a couple of additional GPUs to it and get it into an open air case.

I've got an old green house (cheap £10 plastic cover with metal & plastic frame) like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lacewing-Tier-Mini-PVC-Greenhouse/dp/B008J26F9G

the bottom tier has broken and the cover is torn but the frame is fine

I'm looking to mount my motherboard directly onto it using cable ties - is this a bad idea? I plan on respraying the whole thing black or silver to get rid of the green and also to ensure that there is nothing that the motehrbbaord can short out on - plus i can hang the GPUs happily from the cage on top and also have two 220mm fans blowing from the front

any do's/dont's - (i am going to use powered PCI-e 16x risers on my motherboard)

i'm guessing batch #2 has been ordered? Smiley

hopefully i will get mine soon too!

i'm planning on running my USB miners plugged straight into my litecoin mining rig (2 front mounted USB ports (2 miners ordered) - although i'm concerned about power - should i get a powered USB hub? i have also got a raspberry Pi that i have thought about using too - any recommendations?)
537  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Graphics Cards Cheap on: June 04, 2013, 09:31:46 AM
how much for shipping to UK for 7850?

15 for really slow shipping, 40 for 6 day

how much would you want for 2x 7850 + shipping in BTC?
538  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Bitcoin/Litecoin miner on: June 04, 2013, 09:29:32 AM
how much are you wanting for the whole rig?
He wants £600 but open to offers

Using brand new parts, i can build that rig for under £500 - i think you're expecting a bit much @ £600 as @ second hand prices it should be under £400 :S

you might make more money spliting it and selling it all on ebay

the 'mount' appears to be a removable motherboard tray from an old ATX case
