well I´m not buying in before I see what happens when the US east coast wakes up, might be some panic sellers there too

Smart guy!

Or they could see an opportunity and buy cheap shares.

Are you looking at this purely in a price perspective?

Shares are currently cheap when you compare with a previous high of .0038.
But...
Shares are expensive when you take into account the lack of any concrete evidence that Labcoin is legit.

and where is the concrete evidence that Labcoin is not legit then?

Haha Smiley. So you as an investor have no issues with investing in anything as long as there is no concrete evidence that the company isn't legit?
Might want to ask Ex http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lehman_Brothers investors how they feel about that.

See those buy bids; hahaha 55K for big whales looking for cheap shares and guess what they will get them..

The big eat the small.. always been that way.. even if it needs 120 pages of trol and fake stuff.

Funny that those "whales" know as little as everybody else. If Labcoin doesn't show us something concrete it's extremely unwise to have any BTC locked up in them.

Lol, I love this market! It was pretty obvious yesterday that share price would be dropping.
I hope a lot of you got your buy orders filled at .0021-.0023, there is a great opportunity to take profit (if you haven't done so already @ .003) again as we are far from the bottom if today is another no news day.

Gratz on the profit taking gents!

If you sold at the time stamp of my message and managed to buy at .0018 you are looking at a healthy profit Smiley.

Great job guys, I was too occupied to take part of this. (I'm a bit Jelly Sad)

Hmm, 2.5 Didn't expect it to get that low on one week of low div's.
Interesting... Severe overreaction imho...
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: August 23, 2013, 11:40:45 AM
I used to be mining happily at 1.2 Mh/s with almost no rejects.
Yesterday I added a third card and when I check today my rejected rate just went sky high.

The result is with the third card I'm still with 1.2 Mh/s accepted and 600 Kh/s rejected.

Is there an issue with the pool today, or is it me?

OMG... I was away for the weekend and missed this.

BFL... Seriously... LMAO...

I love these guys, best laugh I had in ages!

Someone just loaded up on LC. Insider info?

Jup, Good for those of us who are already in Cool.
533  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: August 14, 2013, 12:52:20 PM
Someone please guess what the cheapest gh/$ will be and what the most cheapest and expensive units they could make. I need info, so I can prepare to get a loan. I want the most expensive products they have, please.

Because usa 20 amp households are limited to about 1920 watts continuous power. I don't think they could practically sell a unit more than 1.9 th/s based on the 1 watt per gigahash.

So, how much would a 1.5 TH/s unit cost? bitfury 400 gh/s units go for .05 gigahash per usa dollar while kncminer 400 gh/s unit goes for about .056 per usa dollar.

lets say that cointerra units sell for .15 gigahash per usa dollar. that would be 10k usa dollars.

thats too expensive for me

Yo, do not get into debt over ASICs, profit is not guaranteed, you do not know who, what, or how entrants will effect the landscape over the next six months. Can you afford not to be able to refund the loan from the device itself if some greater unknown appears, or the BTC price drops significantly, that you don't earn enough fiat equivalent to pay the loan back??

Months back people thought Avalon were a safe bet, now look. Behave responsibly with money. Ffs!

Wow people like that make me cry Sad. Getting a loan for mining, really?

ur0pl:

1) You are clearly unaware of how mining works and how difficulty impacts your returns. Please educate yourself before investing in anything.
2) If you are that desperate for money, maybe it's time for a job instead of speculating with your life.
3) What are you going to tell the bank? I need a 10K Loan for a magic money printing machine that plans on your utter destruction?
534  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 12, 2013, 04:25:44 PM
Just sold my 40k shares. I'm out until we get some clear news here about the locked accounts and the technical specs which VBS called them out on. They haven't replied since. In the meantime I sent 2 PMs to TheSwede with no replies but he has time to shop for a Rolex on the forum for his "friend": https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=271657.msg2909210#msg2909210

I guess you made someone else happy

Possibly Smiley I don't have the energy to stress about it and made a good profit anyway. I will keep my eyes on this thread to see what happens!

Hey, you might be the smartest one around here. You have some valid concerns so...
535  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTCT.CO] [IPO-cancelled] BTCGARDEN MINER---Eyes to the horizon on: August 12, 2013, 04:22:18 PM
Luckily I never invested in this one to begin with, too many future projections without any short term goals would make for a boring asset to hold. Anyway guess I was right again telling people not to sell below IPO because of unfounded fear mongering. If you bought in, the best thing you could do was hold.

Also, Anyone with a shred of common sense knows that everybody is expecting a flow back into AM and Labcoin and therefor the price will already have risen before the funds even unlock.
536  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: August 09, 2013, 12:04:37 PM
Why is everybody so angry? I could't be bothered to read through 20 pages of flame.

TLDR; Avalon pulling a BFL while also announcing next gen chips for October just to make sure that their current customers will never reach ROI.

Classic :-).

If this thing was a whole scam then why didn't they run off with our 7k BTC and dissappear after the IPO?

Why would they go through the trouble of hosting a Q & A?

Why would TheSwede75 still be here posting?

Some people are beyond help dude, just let him be...

UPDATE:

After just talking to Sam Noi I can now reveal that the Project founder Fabrizio Tatti and one of the chip developers will be available on the forum shortly (later tonight or possibly in the morning) to answer questions reg. Design, status, Gen 1 chips etc.

This should give investors plenty of opportunity to ask questions and also stay up to date with the development.

540  Economy / Services / Re: Bounty 0.2btc Help me bulid an awesome PC on: August 08, 2013, 09:18:28 AM
To calculate the best price, we would need to know where you're from (Europe, US, Asia, ....?) , because shipping costs can play a factor aswell Smiley

USA

Instead of giving you list of prices I'd rather ask you why (I assume you are a gamer?):

- Why does your PC have to be able to mine LTC or BTC? I hope you know it won't earn anything, use a lot of power, won't be able to game while you mine?

- Why 32 GB of Ram? Unless you want to ramdisk a lot of stuff this is entirely useless. (Instead go 16 GB)

- Why 8 Core CPU? Again pretty much useless unless in extreme computing scenario's (NOT GAMING) (Take a Quad Core i7, Haswell or Ivy bridge doesn't really matter as the gains of Haswell are mostly targeted to laptops)

Not a gamer and mining are not required. Just something to play with.

I do plan to do some calculations on it, which is why I'd like some extra ram and hyper threading.

I was recommended something like this: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/mrkent/saved/27ba
but I believe the gpu is actually oversized for that case. The 32 gb of ram is probably overkill.

Something to play with is a bit vague, we need to have real requirements in order to suggest hardware.
Something to play with could be 500 dollar or 10.000 dollar Smiley.
