Yes, that's correct. They don't have plans to hold a public sale due to regulatory concerns. The only way now to get tokens is to buy them on Huobi once COVA got listed there. Because both the Airdrop and the private sale are already over and the only other way you could've gotten tokens was when voting for Cova to get listed on Huobi. Nice update, but selling the token through the Huobi exchange, how will it be done? Will it be sold through COVA's own personal account? Seeing that there is no public ssle and it's not logical that people who acquired through private sale will sell this early. They are not selling tokens through Huobi! The tokens you'll be able to buy there are from private-sale or airdrop participants or from people who got them for voting. The team is NOT selling their devs token on Huobi. |

Another dip!! I’m not praying for that don’t think my portfolio can survive another dip, positive vibes only please  I've been waiting for it. I don't know why, but I have the feeling that this is the last dip this year. Meanwhile I'm also worried whether all my supported projects will survive these low prices. well, they will pause obviously at least that is the wisest thing to do right now except the project is not totally based on crypto, which i believe is not true for most project Terrible times I mean I never though I would see ETH below 100 anytime soon but I guess I was wrong and so were many others. The worst part is that many have absolutely no clue what is causing the dip. This is why project should focus on traction. This is so true, I remember saying something like this some months back in a forum and the people were calling for my head, nobody knows the actual reason for this dip which is the reason it can dip even further. The crypto market is really stumbling from one low to another every day. I really thought (hoped) we'd see some sideways movement for some time. Does anyone know if COVA got their funds in the private sale from their investors in cryptos or fiat? If they got cryptos I hope that they converted them long time ago. |

You're right, tough times at the moment but the question is, how long are we willing to hodl?, at same time, some projects are in fact going on with their campaigns when it comes to implementation, so its evident that some projects still believe in the transformation that comes with the blockchain industry, projects such as this are not relenting to get the job done
It depends how much money you have invested and whether you urgently need it when deciding how long you can hodl. If you ask me, it doesn't make sense to sell now during this huge bear market. Better to stay strong and maybe just don't look at the investment for a long time. Everything under the assumption that you don't need your investment back in the meantime. |

Fact is not all project is going to bounce back trust me. A lot of projects are already closing shop, anyone that survives is here to stay for life True talk bro, the market is scary right now and I have seen lots of projects pack up shop. I think the only projects that will remain are genuine projects with a good use case. Every weak project will definitely close down. The biggest problems for projects will be to survive this bear market. A lot of projects have gotten most of their funds in cryptos and if they haven't converted them to fiat, it will become even harder to provide the development running costs as long as the market doesn't go up again. |

I'm so excited that COVA has successfully earned a listing on Huobi through their competition program. This is a massive step forward for COVA, this will really help them establish themselves as a top blockchain project. Access to hundreds of thousands of users and millions of $ worth of volume.
I hope the listing will take place soon. I really want to buy tokens as early (and as cheap) as possible. I think in a few years I can benefit greatly from it I tell people now is the time to get on the train and buy some very good project and keep for the future But unfortunately I don't think people are willing to heed the call they are not ready, because they are not sure, what is happening in cryptoindustry There were many projects, that were disappointing so, now you need to be careful about everything But it's a very good thing that people are now more careful about everything. People investing blindless in anything that was associated with crypto during the peak of the ICO hype, let to so much fraud (Bitconnect, Centra, Envion ...) I could go on with this list but I am sure you get the idea. |

I guess everyone is waiting for a big announcement. Something Exciting to make everyone ask question about the project, I think the team should come up with an Announcement. We were all waiting for the MVP so hoping that would be announced soon. From the talks with the admins in telgram the mvp was executed according to schedule my only guess for the delay is something to do with compliance? Just been to TG, they mentioned few security related things pending and MVP is ready to use. Okay, that's actually pretty good news. I was already a bit worried because there was no news about the MVP for a couple of days. But where exactly is the MVP. Couldn't find it on their website. |

So the point of them not having a public sale is because of the regulation thing?, never knew about that but then again, i'm really excited about the outcome of such and frankly, i find that a good way of selling their tokens interesting, the public sale has been misused by many, as all they do is just buy and dump the next moment, leading to a downtrend of the project At least that's what an admin said on their Telegram channel. After all the news about how the SEC is going after ICOs, it's probably better to not have a public sale at all. |

With SEC rules coming down on CryptoCurrency and everyone involved, it’s important for everyone to Verify Residency. Also, it’s to protect traders on the exchange.
yeah, 2019 is gonna be crazy because SEC are trying to bring in some kind of regulations so that institutional investors can safely invest in cryptocurrency They should restructure the blockchain industry for the better please and help reduce the scam rate in this space. I don't see regulation so negatively. It protects investors against fraud. There are so many Scam projects, that harm the entire crypto industry. That's a good point. I'd rather have a more regulated market than projects that are only created to steal money from people. This way it's also easier to convince new people to enter the crypto market because they don't have to fear being scammed this much. |

Yeah. They are one of the scarce dependable projects one can find these days. the voting competition was just a test of their capacity and their ability to really deliver if given the chance. I think their project is brilliant, there is a lot of technical knowledge behind COVA. They have gone about their development and marketing in a very professional way, I think a lot of people will be interested in learning more about their project and see how it can improve the conventional internet protocol. I have the feeling that COVA is still so underrated. Well, the listing on Huobi will definitely help to increase the publicity but a demo or a public testnet would be the best to attract even more people. |

I really do not understand the rationale behind the delay of the MVP
It's almost taking forever to release, I asked in the group and it seems postponed to an unknown date
Well, that's really sad. The ICO is running till the 21st of December. It would've been good to have the MVP as early as possible so that as many potential investors can try it out and so get convinced about the exchange and their investment. Exactly! Onam really had some superb chances of getting alot of Investment by showing their MVP as a progress so far! Investors really likes to see some development before investment! Yea, the date of closure is almost close and having something that will boost them in this critical period will be nice, by critical, i mean the situation of the market, as well as the end of the duration that's around the corner, the MVP is like their best bet to get some good amount of investors before closure, the expectations has been quite high and it should be sustained I personally think they should abandon their ICO and try to find an alternative way to raise funds for their development. I would suggest the ONAM team looks into starting their own STO or trying to secure private investments. Nah, I don't think they should abandon the idea of an ICO now. They already in the middle of it and it seems like they raised a good amount. So it wouldn't make sense to stopp now. |

Good point. KYC is important to avoid illegal transaction/to stop money laundering cases. Without KYC it's impossible to control bad play.
I don't mind doing KYC for good projects. Its worth spending time and giving our details and it should be legit and gainful in the end. I can also understand that projects need to have KYC for their users in order to be compliant to (future?) regulations but I still don't feel very good when I have to upload my documents to the internet. |

This is a very important Blockchain project. We need more Youtubers talking about Covalent smart protocol. It’s a new concept and would need more details on how it works.
That's actually a pretty good idea. Maybe the team can contact some influential Youtuber and ask them to create an honest review about the project. That would surely introduce a lot of new people to the project and would create demand for the tokens once they are listed on Huobi. |

It’s good to know you can get free Onam tokens which you can use to trade on the exchange when launched by participating in the bounty. Yeah, there is a bounty going on and it should be a bounty0x
