Just got a DHL tracking number for an X-1 with order number 2# direct from BA   Shocked  Grin

Can you show a screenshot with private details blanked out?  I don't believe anything anymore..

Also can you please share what the payment method was you used?

Thanks

It'll say "Next Week" ...  hopefully for realz, biatches !

Just noticed Black Arrow Information Technology (on their logo) stands for  BAIT -  What jokers they are  Grin

Pull your finger out BA! Either come clean and admit we've all been scammed, or ship this stuff like you've been claiming eg "The shipping of Prospero X1 (Raspberry Pi version) is ongoing."   ..

The more I read your past news releases the more bullshit I find.. WTF ARE YOU PLAYING AT??
546  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: June 13, 2014, 05:53:23 AM
1.We have found the issue that was preventing our control board from working with our ASICs.
2.We have started manufacturing the X1 with our control boards.
3.The LCD + Touch sample was supposed to be delivered today but was postponed until next Wednesday. This is the 5th factory of LCD that fails us. We are planning to ship X1s without LCD if the customers approves. We will contact each customer individually for approval before shipment.
4.We have received and tested successfully a board to connect a single X3 Hashboard to RPI. This solution was planned to be used as a testbench in order to find a solution to get multiple X3 hashboards working together and just now we’ve been able to start 2 boards at 400Ghash using the same RPI. We are still testing to see if the solution is stable and we are planning to start using this temporary solution for Rent-A-Minion programme.
5.We’ve been working daily with the 1st design company and we have been reviewing and optimizing the new design for X3 (5 hash boards, 10 chips). We are going to tape out the sample board this week or next Monday. Development of this board took longer than we had hoped as we kept modifying it based on the findings from testing. We now know that if we would have taped out this board as planned it would have failed.
6.The 2nd design company has hoped to finish the design of the Hashboard last Monday but has not finished it yet.
7.The 3rd design company did not promised us a date so far but yesterday we’ve received an almost completed design of the new Hashboard.
8.The 4th company made no progress on the design as they are still trying to find the issue with the current solution.
9.We have started developing X2 @ 240Ghash using the X3 boards as we have the boards already manufactured.
10.We are actively looking to hire more PCB designers. All interested candidates are invited to send their CV to hr at blackarrowsoftware.com

Give us a look at your circuit diagrams if you're not up to this..

What are the data rates going over the SPI bus?

Is there a web interface and does the unit initialise using DHCP?

Did you get a shipping confirmation from BA?
548  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: June 10, 2014, 11:59:54 AM
Totally agree, wtf are they telling us to get on a plane to solve the problem when they won't publicly provide the schematics or barest technical info on how these things are wired up - if they were serious they'd make something public..

They're selling chips so where is the alpha/beta reference design at least to get customers ready to use the chips ahead of shipping??  Yes there's a chip data sheet, bare minimal info in it tho.

BA are probably shipping the Paypal orders asap because that's the only payment method where the customer has a form of control over refunds.

What a thread to follow again in hindsight.. http://ecointalk.net/topic/254-skeptical/ - building their reputation...

Reading those past BA promises really irks me, they put their reputation on the line with those comments and I feel gullible because I believed them.

If the surprise is "This is a con job, thanks for your money suckas", then the BTC world is really pretty filthy.  I guess this kind of crap will strengthen the protocol and enforce multisig on everything cos it shows you can't trust anyone.

BA along with the joke that is/was activemining, and the current AM share price, not looking too sharp at this point.

Does anyone know who ordered Minion chips?  They should have tracking codes or the chips themselves by now?
552  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: May 30, 2014, 03:57:12 AM
The only thing that's given me confidence in BA's actual ability to deliver these miners is that there is a driver for it: https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/commits/master - as of late there have been a lot of commits of code for the Minion chip.  If all the chip orders have gone out, where did they go, and is there anyone with a variant miner model running with these?

Whats up with the website? http://www.virtualminingcorp.com/  "Template Error: The template file must be given (or the template could not be opened)"

Rehashed from an earlier post:

Assume for a moment that Ken from ActM and Ukyo from Bitfunder and Weex are in it together, WEEX was the trap and ActM a lure:

1. Put together a good story for ActM mining asset - the next ASICMiner. This get lots of people sign up and buy in on Bitfunder.
2. Keep that going for a while then close the BF/Weex exchanges (with a similar non reason like BTCT.CO) and stop everyone trading the shares.
3. Ukyo/Weex comes up with a lame story about "the coins are gone" and takes all the remaining deposits minus 6%.
4. Ken dumps another round of shares onto CT ("Ukyo's shares") and take as many coins as possible. Nice cover for Ukyo as then we can blame Ken/ActM for a loss of some BF/Ukyo/Weex money.
5. The people involved go live on a nice island with thousands of easy to smuggle bitcoins leaving behind a couple of battered forum accounts and an empty ActM workshop.

If this carries on much longer, and Ken doesn't release the remaining ActM shares on CT as he's repeatedly promised then this scenario might not be so far fetched?  What do you guys reckon?

Assume for a moment that AMC, Bitfunder and Weex are in it together, WEEX was the trap, AMC the lure:

  • Put together a good story for an mining asset - the next AM. Heaps of people buy in on Bitfunder
  • Close the BF/Weex exchanges (with a similar non reason like BTCT.CO) and stop everyone trading the shares.
  • Ukyo comes up with a non story about "the coins are gone"
  • Dump another round of shares onto another exchange (take more coins). We can blame Ken/AMC for a loss of some BF/Ukyo/Weex money.
  • The scammers involved bugger off to a nice island with thousands of easy to smuggle bitcoins leaving behind a couple of battered forum accounts and an empty garage (after selling the workbenches).

Maybe more complex than most scams to try make it harder to spot?   Happy to be proven wrong of course, this just a conjecture for the conspiracy minded..

These guys are using the same foundry as Black Arrow, interesting read re tapeout time and chip speeds.

Hi Matt, could you say what was the cutoff date for payments was to get a Feb delivery order?   Also the 5 days free hosting of the miners, does that start on the 24 Feb or before then?  Can we specify pool info for the hosting mining?

Thank you!

Not much of the week left..  Anyone been paid back yet?.. WTF.. I'm so angry that I trusted my ID with these clowns just days before this stupid f**king meltdown.

We have been contacted by Crypto-Trade in Hong Kong and will be moving our shares to their exchange.  We feel that this will be the best place for our shares to be traded until we have a tested solution with a decentralized trading and dividends method.  Crypto-Trade will be accepting our list of sharesholders and their number of shares and will create accounts automatically.  There is no need to sign up for an account on Crypto-Trade as it will be created for you.

When will this occur, and also what is the expected date for dividends to resume?
