Let's change the topic, how are you doing today?

Any particular reason I would not be doing well?

There is none. We are glad to hear that you are doing well. What kind of herbs makes you feel that good? :]

Did you eat psilocybin mushrooms? Anyone tried them? Could this mushroom be the reason why you feel well?

550  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: April 29, 2014, 01:31:51 PM
Lets say I want to buy bitcoins today and store them for 20 years to use a my retirement fund.  Live comfortably, but don't need to buy a yacht or anything.  How many do you think I would need to buy?

If people say that  BTC will be 2 million dollars in 20 years, you would want to buy real estate for all of them and earn about $165k a year. But at the current price It's possible to get 100 Bitcoins even for a normal clever person without any high education.
551  Economy / Economics / Re: "Buy at the right time. Sell at the right time" on: April 29, 2014, 01:29:09 PM
It is possible  to buy/sell at the right time, for example see BTC bouncing from $540 to $450 then back to $500, down to $440 now going up again, clever people can make a lot of money from this also.
552  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How could I promote Bitcoin in Haiti? on: April 29, 2014, 01:25:18 PM
I'm going to Haiti next month for 8 days, wondering if anyone had suggestions for how I might promote bitcoin to the locals? Maybe find a currency exchange place and try to sell them on it?

Wear a T-shirt with bitcoin logo, that would be a good promoting .
553  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PB MINING PROFIT on: April 29, 2014, 01:20:28 PM
hello im new on the mining business, so i just want to know opinions about pb mining contracts.

The contract is for 5 years, and for my calculations in 3 months i pay what i spend on the contract, so that means that i got 4 years and 9 months of profit? or i'm doing my calculations wrong?

thanks!

It will take more than 3 months, maybe 4 or even 5 Month because the difficulty increases fast as hell and you will be making less bitcoins in every increase so It wouldn't pay off and when It would you would be making much lower than you did at the start.
554  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Anyone GPU Bitcoin mining in 2014? on: April 29, 2014, 01:16:02 PM
GPU and CPU is the past I don't think It will ever be profitable again. Best solution right now is ASIC's.

556  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Electric bills for mining on: April 29, 2014, 01:10:04 PM
This is significant factor in crypto-business and it's interesting to know more about it. Thank you for your vote!

I am not a rig owner but I was wondering how to get free electricity - till now I didn't solved it Smiley

Cheers!

We all know that there is no such a thing as a free electricity in case you steal It from electricity pylon or you have your own wind power plant and the wind makes you the electricity  Wink
557  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How many btc/day on: April 29, 2014, 01:05:54 PM
You get nothing because btc drop every day minimum payoff 0.04 btc = 4 days + 20-30$ decrease of btc

Not exactly It drops and goes back up so you mine with the intentioned that you'll keep them for some time till they rise like $100 and It pays off then i guess.
558  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: best cloud mining site on: April 29, 2014, 01:02:03 PM
The best part of CEX. IO is that the ghs which we buy remains with us for lifetime until we sell them and during that time they also mine for us

Yes, but It has additional fees like electricity fees and other which It's pretty high but It's still better than those sites where you can't sell you hash right?
559  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: April 29, 2014, 12:50:36 PM
PBmining or "Ponzi backed" mining.

Has a nice ring to it!   Grin

I could say they are legit because I'm using them and already got my first payment so i got no complains so far but their site is pretty new If i'm not wrong so It's your choice to use them or not but from my experience i would recommend them.
560  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Gox Info on: April 29, 2014, 12:42:33 PM
It will surely help console them to know that somebody else has received the bitcoin they are entitled to a share in.  Angry

Read the article again:

Quote
In addition, the customers will split the 200,000 bitcoins that Mt. Gox said it found after seeking bankruptcy protection, and will also split up to $20 million in fiat currency held by the administrator for Mt. Gox.

They are getting some of their coins back, and they are getting shares of Mt Gox. This is the best possible outcome for the users.
So did mtgox run away with their coins or they must return them to the users?
