I think a few pitchers have been hit. Can't watch baseball way too boring and they take forever to swing at the damn ball. there should be a 10 second limit when a batter is up. Hit with the actual bat or shards from it? shards of the bats have hit pitchers before...like the top half the fattest part. But no real injuries that would make it needed to be looked at. I think you have a greater chance at getting hit by a home run or foul ball than a bat piece. Don't they use metal bats or just wooden? |

That's also true. People used to and sometimes do drown unwanted kittens and puppies. Vets and charities like Peta also put down many healthy but unwanted animals. |

I always find animal cruelty horrible but feel a hypocrite for eating meat.
Animal cruelty isn't the same as slaughtering animals for food. I think slashing an animals throat and letting it bleed out is pretty cruel. Anything else seems like double standards. What about killing a dog then eating it? How is it cruel , if the animals dies instantly after it throat is cut completely ? the throat will be cut anyway, electricaly stunned or not, heck I find it worse when the electric stun doesn't stun the animal and had to live trought all the process and getting it skin removed while it is still alive. There is a huge difference between killing for food, and killing for self pleasure and satisfaction and not just killing but torturing and being cruel which only sick people that deserve being jailed who do that . The animals don't die instantly. It takes several minutes to die. Let me tell you, those animals scream as you would having your throat slit. In your opinion, would there be much difference if a person killed you for the fun, or killed you for food? Is one far worse than the other? Yes. Yes. Yes to what?
