I just voted for Monero to be listed on Cryptsy. You are currently in 2nd position with 27,170 votes.  Smiley

Unfortunately, I don't think it will do any good. Monero was at the 1st position for a few weeks months ago and was not added.

But thanks for your effort.

Rumours say that cryptsy will get a revamp the coming months and that with this revamp some 2.0 Coins ( non Bitcoin-Clone code ) will be added... so maybe we will see XMR Wink

Github is open https://github.com/freebazaar/FreeBazaar/

Regarding OpenBazaar, I spoked with Sam Patterson <sam@openbazaar.org>

Please have a patience, OpenBazaar was half-dead from summer up to last month, even with more donations. (I got only 2.3k$ for the whole implementation)

Now, after OpenBazaar get 1M$, FreeBazaar get more meaning. And developing progress is still continue, I implement all patches from OB and fit they with FB-changes.

I don't stop to make the project.

What done up to date:
- XMR integration
- Payments with payment_id
- fixes of some bugs in OB
- communication with Monero daemon.

What To-Do:
- delete escrow from process
- work with OB-dev team to integrate XMR into main project, if possible convince to make the code BTC-dependence (currently BTC is very hardcoded)

Patience is not be the problem, i think the people would be fine with a little update here and than, but the way no one heard a thing was suspicious. Or in plain german. "Ab und zu mal was hören lassen".

OpenBazaar Receives $1 Million in Funding from Andreessen Horowitz and Others
http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/39fud6/openbazaar_receives_1_million_in_funding_from/
Awesome news!! We should donate moar xmr to our friend Atrides, hes working hard on Freebazaar - Openbazaar fork /s
https://github.com/freebazaar?tab=activity
Yeah, OpenFreebazaar appears to be a scam at this point (whether originally intended to be or not).
You mean FreeBazaar?
I doubt OpenBazaar is a scam, with it having just received 1 million dollars.

Oopsie!

Is there someone to replace Atrides ?

Or did someone contact him ?

Hey guys, I was asking about making Paper Wallets for Monero a page or so back. I only have like 50 Monero coins, which I know is not much, but I want to stash them away safely and just try and forget about them until I check back in on what they're worth in the future. Don't want to be tempted to spend/sell them if I need some BTC for a purchase.

A few people pointed out MyMonero.com as a good web wallet. In your opinion, can the site be trusted to hold my Monero funds securely for a while? And is that the user fluffypony's project?

Yes and yes. Also AFAIK you get some 13 word mnemonic seed , which should enable you later to create also a real wallet with the ?23? word seed if needed to and in case the site goes down.

omg.That was Mega Dump Cry

sell order

0.00140000   310202.53002084   434.28354203btc

0.00110000   298737.05512655   328.61076064

Someone is scared. But I think this dump is temporarily and somebody wants to buy more cheap coins.

Do you even hear what you say?. If somebody wanted to buy more cheap coins he had months to do it LOL.

Why dont you just look at daily volumes over times and decide yourselves? I mean its ur business
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 09, 2015, 09:36:23 PM
The 25k or so dump was from someone i know, there was no reason except he needed fiat for a bigger expense he is forced to make soon.

Sorry no conspiracy warz theory - even if it was fun to read here.

the whole dump was 70k , so maybe the 25k dump just the frontrunner and after that warz theory :p
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 09, 2015, 05:46:57 PM
since the total buy side didn't change at all, it might be warz dumping into his own walls to create selling pressure.
afterall he tried for two days now with moving his big wall up bit by bit to make someone sell, but that didn't happen.

whoever that was, thanks dude, great entertainment on a boring day  Smiley

it was him... he removed the wall and sold into the people jumping in front and back of his wall
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The next LTC/DOGE/DASH ??? on: June 09, 2015, 12:05:17 PM
DASH/LTC/DOGE ?

A Bitcoin+Coinjoin copypaste premined scam/An algo change copy paste Bitcoin Clone/A meme shitcoin

Find something of value OP

can you give me 1 coin you keep to hold ?
i think i want to buy and hold too Smiley

If you want to hold and not speculate some people settle their horse on Cryptonote Coins, but especially for Longterm, better research for yourself as this is a thing where you should not listen to anybody but yourself!

There was talk about the missive being ready to go out the door weeks ago... any hints on when it may show up?

welp, with fluffy back, we did a recap of his magical monero mystery tour, so workin on that one.

I got a rough draft done. Any volunteers for transcribing?

PM me and I'll get yah a link.

PM sent.

I can transcribe at least some of it, if not all.

If anyone can recommend a decent voice to text program, I'm willing to help check and correct its output.

551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prooven, Dash'es Marketcap is $ 5,384,817.72 on: June 06, 2015, 08:32:55 AM
All the coins are held in masternodes, hence the price, its a joke

Thats called artificial scarcity, for Dash Holders and early miners a good thing as it makes a higher price per Coin, for myself rather sth that drags me away.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 05, 2015, 10:19:34 PM
i think i read that Dash has also a problem with bitcoinwisdom and that somehow changing to an US ip fixed sth... cant really tell did not read into detail

I heard Bob is involved in Viral so this will be a no-go for this community Wink
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MyMonero.com - Security Issues on: June 04, 2015, 06:44:20 PM
BlockaFett admitted himself that this thread is a "troll" thread/entirely worthless. It has no factual information and is only biased speculation as BlockaFett is a DASH supporter. Of course we could do the opposite and talk about DASH's 2million coin fraudulent instamine...which is factual.

I don´t mind you investigating, when there is a flaw it needs to be fixed... if its a flaw.

But what i mind is that i do not understand that you call Monero a scam... but are perfectly fine about Dash´s shady past ( which we don´t need to get into because all has been said plenty of times )

Not calling Monero a scam, because I have zero evidence that it is.  OP is speculation and I am biased like I said.  Just sharing the info with my tinfoil hat on.

Most coins have something shady in their past.  Dash beginnings are probably the most investigated, I checked it out and decided to invest, that's it really, everyone make their own decision.

It's going to be too hard for me to add any value on anything here, kind of looks just like Dash supporter attacking Monero which wasn't the intention.

You seem to have missed the previous page celestio...MyMonero is sending your spend key and seed to the server in a cookie for a lot of users and all the evidence is there....let's not start this ridiculous sherade and start to p*** me off with blatant lies like above ("no factual information") when I just went to the trouble of doing your security testing for you backed by full evidence, and even Fluffy admits the problem and provided a plausible explanation and we dealt with it like adults and no need to start dragging this up.  If I really wanted to cause a stink about this obviously with a fact like this I could, but the fact i'm not should show you I am not just trying to 'troll Monero'...please take a deep breath maybe this BS style of FUD'ing BCT should stop.

actually i have to say this first time im on Blocka´s side.

1. This thread is not about Dash so use on of the many threads or create one yourself
2. I actually think we have a nice discussion and the way fluffy responds also helps everyone concerning about Monero
3. Every piece of information is good for new people getting into Monero who actually want to research a coin.

Just pulling up a seat before catching up with events tomorrow.

Hold on, this is a third party service we're talking about?

WebWallet like blockchain.info
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency - 0.8.8.6 on: June 04, 2015, 05:10:11 PM
the stolen funds are not the problem. the problem would be the main liquidity place gone(assuming polo goes completely down) and the short to mid term chaos (otc/new exchange etc). but as allready said, i guess community could handle it. still, this is not the time to lay back. we have to try to spread the volume better!
At this moment we are not a serious currency. Consider yourself a merchant  who wants to put 200 thousand dollars in monero to cover your steps. What this  become for monero price?
Even worse... Consider yourself a mafioso type person who wants to put 1 million in there. What the price would be?

nothing would happen... you would have a massive pump.... with a a mega bubble and big crash... thats why a currency needs to grow natural. So we not only need to spread volume... for that to be really necessary we need to raise volume. Atm we are sitting at 30000$ daily volume not that much on a regional or even global scale.

P.S: Aunt Edith was here

So in the end the price would be back to the 30000$ daily volume we got after the shock

557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero / MyMonero.com - Investigate? on: June 04, 2015, 12:16:56 PM

what's your browser and exact URL?

Fireforx 38.0.5 , URL = mymonero.com as you ask. And im from Germany and as fluffy brought up of maybe Cloudflare being the reason... usually i get routed to the Cloudfare Frankfurt servers afaik when some sites using Cloudfare were down.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero / MyMonero.com - Investigate? on: June 04, 2015, 11:09:46 AM

Code:
    <script src="js/filters/money.js?1"></script>
    <script src="js/filters/time.js?1"></script>
    <script src="js/filters/payment_uri.js?1"></script>
    <script src="js/services/account.js?4"></script>
    <script src="js/services/modal.js?3"></script>
    <script src="js/controllers/top_bar.js?1"></script>

This is what i get. Also account.js?4 is in line 56 on my source, you have it in line 57. The modal.js? also differs if you look.

559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 04, 2015, 08:52:28 AM
I do not see mixin values being the issue here. What the MSB is required to do here is 1) Tell the recipient from whom  the funds are coming from 2) Keep a record of the transaction including the recipient and sender. Of course an exchange can simply say that a customer can only withdraw from or deposit to an address under the customer's control. The solution is simple withdraw to a wallet under one's own control, use one's own wallet to receive and send XMR and stop using exchanges as banks.

That would be true. Who cares how many times you're mixing, if they know your IP address and the amount sent? I personally don't have any issues with that (nothing to hide) but I see a pattern here, that reminds me of another similar situation about one and a half year ago and urges me to say once more, that we are in desperate need of another exchange.

we have the other exchange, but no one barely uses it ----> bittrex. For the case that polo gets hacked or does GoxStyle everything will shift to that exchange. And also if the Monero story succeeds other or new exchanges that may come will adopt it by themselves.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 03, 2015, 07:04:03 PM
Hi Guys,i have a question, if our main exchanger Pole be attacked by an Hacker, many coins would in a evil hand, so do you Guys think that would be the end of monero?

Yes, i think that would mean the end of monero
The Hacker would dump that shit in oblivion  Sad

That Is also one of my reasons that i had sold all of my xmr

As said on the main thread, the only place to sell any significant amount of coins would be on the exchange they stole from.

Only a small percentage of Polo's total is in their hot wallets.

kenji and mrkavasaki are the same person Cheesy kenji being the sidekick of mrkavasaki
