541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A 7-Yr Prison Term for Bitcoin Use, Says Russian Finance Ministry on: March 12, 2016, 04:13:59 PM
even if Russia applys those harsh terms , I believe that it will not prevent people from using bitcoin but they will use it in secret
if they want to stop people from using btc, they should cut the internet connection Cheesy

543  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-03-12] Scam Alert: Bitcoin Stealing Chrome Extension Called BitcoinWisdom on: March 12, 2016, 03:59:43 PM
it seems like the only safe way to keep your bitcoin away from hackers and malware is to open your wallet on an old PC that you do not use in your daily online browsing.
But why Google do not scan their browser extension good before adding them on their site? they are responsible for that too
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How likely is it that future hard-forks will increase the number of bitcoins? on: March 12, 2016, 03:50:21 PM
I believe that no one in the community will agree about increasing the limit of bitcoin which I believe is enough. because we do not have 21 million coins only, but the can be divided to 2100000000000000 "two quadrillion, one hundred trillion" small units so why would we need more ?

547  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: March 11, 2016, 07:16:47 PM
Gambling some of the early bitcoins I earned "around 2" back when they were around $50 dollars each, after that it reach around 20 times that at a time...

So you lost them, right? because your story is not complete without losing.
this is the end of any gambling story I have read here in the forum. the only winner from gambling are the sites owners
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: March 11, 2016, 10:56:48 AM
I would go for the bitcoin because its better with their security, the bitcoin has a faster system and also the fact it cannot get limited.
One time I already experienced that my paypal account was hacked..
I believe that when your Paypal was hacked it was your problem and you can not blame them for it. in this case, bitcoin is the same, your wallet may get hacked if your PC has some viruses or malwares.
But I completely agree with you that using btc is a complete freedom, there is no limitations or charge back like in PP
549  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: March 11, 2016, 10:46:24 AM
They see that it has not a high value and they are very negative about it and that is very bad.
I hope that more people will use Bitcoin and that they are going to like it and use also much.

I do not think that people consider bitcoin has low value nor this would be a negative thing, in contradiction, some people consider btc very expensive to be bought as they do not know that it can be devided to as much parts as we want.
550  Economy / Services / Re: HIRING!!! Do repetitive work and get paid in BTC! on: March 11, 2016, 03:51:57 AM
does anyone contacted the OP knew what kind of work is it ? as the OP does not want to explain more here for people how are interested in knowing more details. BTW, what is jabar ? is it a chat application ?
551  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E 900$ WITHDRAW PROBLEM HELP ME PLEASE on: March 11, 2016, 03:43:26 AM
this is not the first thread I read in the last few days complaining on btc-e ! I was worried and I tried to withdraw my btc there today to test it and the transaction was instantly.
I did not withdraw before to Paypal. I hope that your problem will be solved
552  Economy / Exchanges / bitcoin credit card with good rates ? on: March 11, 2016, 03:40:05 AM
I tried advcash, e-coin and spectrocoin and all of them always have less prices for bitcoin for loading the card than the market price in the main exchanges . for EX: if the price in bitstamp is 420, the price in these VCC providers will be between 400 to 410

does anyone know other sites offer VCC can be loaded with btc and has good USD/BTC exchange rates?
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM on: March 11, 2016, 03:25:11 AM
ther is not any bitcoin ATM in my country and I do not see any need for them. because usually they have high fees and with these fees people will not see difference between normal transfer money methods fees and btc fees. so using normal exchange to sell or buy will be much cheaper
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: March 11, 2016, 02:55:40 AM
What are your opinions on paypal or bitcoin for online shopping?

They are pretty much the same if you are making a purchase. If you are receiving payment from someone, Bitcoin is definitely faster.

I do not think they are the same in online shopping at all, because the sites which accept btc are very few comparing with sites that accept Paypal. So sometimes you do not have the choice because bitcoin is not one of the options to pay for your purchases
555  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-03-10] Softpedia: Bank of England Is Preparing to Launch Its Own Bitcoin.. on: March 11, 2016, 02:45:15 AM
"its own bitcoin" is not related to bitcoin at all. some media call any cryptocurrensy bitcoin as they do not know the differences
So we should not care about that altcoin created by bank. so it seems it will be centralized.
556  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: March 10, 2016, 09:02:24 PM
yeah with purse.io mostly, but for small thing, none want to buy expensive thing for you with even a small 10% discount, i should try with 5% next time

Purse is a really good place to spend some bitcoin and get some great bargains due to their discounts.  but I did not try it before because buying online costs me a lot in my country because of the high customs and taxes.
But it will work perfectly with US bitcoiners
557  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.005 BTC on: March 10, 2016, 08:50:33 PM
asking for a loan and paying it back with an interest is not allowed for Muslims
so in addition to the fact that no one will lend you without a valid collateral, you are making a sin according to your religion
Give me 0.005 BTC without interest Then

الضرورات تبيح المحظورات

If you had a valid collateral to guarantee that you are willing to pay me back I would think about lending you.
but as other members told you, why Should I trust a newbie account who has no collateral ?

Edit: check this service https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1385605.0 ( it is not my thread, I just recommend it to you)
you can get .005 from working there within two hours approximately if you are fast. it would be better than asking for a loan

559  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin always be dependent on fiat? Is it? on: March 10, 2016, 12:04:50 AM
Firstly; yeah, bitcoin does depend in its value in fiat nowadays and that's because its value is not stable yet. About the future, it depends on which one will last more; fiat money or bitcoin
560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell now and buy again at $1300. on: March 10, 2016, 12:00:46 AM
$700 to $800 after halving is not an unreachable target. If the block size is increased to 4MB or higher this year, the price will be higher.

A 4 mb block size seems to be impossible to happened specially in the next few months. Because the community did not agree even about 2 mb block size. So a 4mb would be harder of course to be applied
