In regards to transparency it would be good to have a monthly/weekly tally of how many Jewels have been sold through Paypal. Also, when is the first burning scheduled? And what about the twitter message where a big announcement is scheduled? What happened with that? What was the big news? Have you downloaded the game? are you playing it? do you follow anything?
The main development is for additional Heroes features. We had lately several game events and in addition are still working on releasing a beta for the first gambling games for initial feedback from potential users including people from this community (probably you should be one of them).
A shame you think that way about this project but I probably can't convince you since you don't really follow the back stage activities (remember that this project back end are the games them selves).
I agree that only time will tell and the community will judge us, that is what we aim to. Development is slow and lots of things pops for Heroes so we have tons of work. We haven't been responsive lately and as stated we will do our best to improve it.
Any concrete suggestion you have to improve the transparency of this project is more than welcome. We will do some new estimations on our roadmap and update it according to our current open issues and plans.
For clarity purposes: Korber0 is a member of the Jewels community who has volunteered to help make sure updates get posted to the community in a more timely manner. Previews, timelines and updates from me will be posted to our trello board which he will then make sure gets posted properly throughout social media and to ensure issues and questions get filtered back to me. The purpose of this is so that I can focus on finishing features. Right now we have a lot of stuff "mostly finished" and it gets constantly delayed due to having so many things requiring my attention. The goal is to focus in so we can cross one thing off my list at a time and make sure that the community is kept in the loop at the same time. Posts coming from the pro4never account have been and will continue to be directly from myself where the Jewels account will be Korber0 or myself depending on the situation.

Nice, congrats! How many TPS does Bitcoin have? I thought main-net launch was scheduled for Feb. It's march now, any update? Anything us backers/supporters can do to help? We want this coin to succeed, otherwise the community wouldn't have put so much effort/trust forth. I'm excited to see the first steps in the launch! Give us some updates! https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/ark-desktop - Ark Desktop Client written from scratch for ARK https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/ark-client - ARK CLI written from scratch https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/ark-node/commits/testnet - look at the commits and if you have some coding knowledge go through some of them and let me know if this is "code monkey" for you Just to list some things (there is dozen more): Removed sidechains (deprecated in favor of smartbridge) Removed custom node version Removed UI for stability and security reasons Changed some constants (block rewards, blocktime etc...) Added simple PBFT before forging new block Ditch addresses from the protocol in favor of bitcoin like system, enabling HD Wallet as for BIP32 Completely rewritten node management using a single NodeManager and messaging system Completely rewritten round management (removed mem_round, reward block fees to forger) Added 64 bytes vendorField as first iteration of smart bridge Made peers management entirely in-memory for efficiency Strengthened the transaction management and broadcast (reject often, reject soon) Rearchitect with relay nodes and forging nodes Nodes broadcast only block headers. Planned features:
Simple blockchain validation for SPV and use in lite clients Add IPFS as first class citizen (using smartbridge addressing) Protocol improvements (uncle forging, voting weights). Remove unsecured API Routing tables Performancestable on testnet at 5tx/s pushed to 10tx/s on devnet update: have hit up to 25 txps on testnet

I very much disagree that this is any type of scam, but I do think that they should update their investors more on what is going on and that they should put down some time frames and more importantly stick to those time frames...

This project really needs a marketing/PR/community manager guy... Silence for weeks on end... Sheesh

Honestly I think that isn't OK... Apex has 100+ players online at any given time. How many players does Heroes have? From checking FB fans not a lot if you compare 15k fb fans from Apex with what, 500 for Heroes? I see that you guys are working hard but Heroes will take another year before it is anywhere close to Apex, so why not utilize Apex now? If the in game shop doesn't entirely fit, then adjust it and make it fit... Since you have a big stash of Jewels I would think that it is in your best interest to grow the price and the best way is to add it to Apex and give that large audience the opportunity to get in on Jewels... As promised, here is the initial whitepaper discussing jewels and its integration in project rebirth. This is a brief document detailing ways we want the currency to be incorporated into the MMO project as well as introducing burn mechanisms and buyback mechanisms for the coin. http://apexconquer.com/ProjectRebirthsJewelsEconomy.pdfKeep in mind this is a living document and we highly encourage community questions and feedback. As revisions are made to the document, we will make sure to notify people through our slack, trello and this thread. Great!
Can you also answer these questions:
Jewels that are acquired through the Jewels Heroes Shop are being accumulated into a secondary development fund.
How much is in that fund now?
Also, in the first posts I read that Apex will have Jewels integrated but later after the ICO I only see Heroes mentioned. Are Jewels integrated into Apex or not?
The jewels shop inside of heroes places coins spent into the PayPal fund (which is used to process fiat purchases of the coin from our website and from inside the game). The whitepaper actually details how we plan to handle that fund as it grows. Approximately 200,000 Jewels have been used in the in-game shop so far. We are looking to introduce the burning mechanism mentioned in the whitepaper above in the next week and will be posting more details on that at that time. For those who do not wish to read through the whitepaper or want quick and easy stats. Here's the short version of the burn mechanism. Paypal fiat purchases: 50% burned, 50% used to buy coins at cheapest price off exchanges In-game purchases made with jewels: 50% burned, 50% added to paypal fund Apex is a tricky question. The shortest way to cover why Jewels has not been used there is that the in-game shop used on heroes does not fit nearly as well with the gameplay of that project. Instead we've found that the conversion rate in regards to monetizing players is more successful by convincing apex players to move to play heroes instead. With the first expansion pack for heroes on the horizon, our goal has become more about making the new server more attractive to those who used to play apex and moving them to the new ecosystem as smoothly as we can.

So is this the update that you mentioned on twitter?
The twitter post from a couple of weeks ago was about a number of updates for the community rather than one single release. One of the things it was in reference to should be posted later tonight.

Someone I know made an investment in USD but he is not from the US. So don't think that all of those USD deposits were made from US citizens... ... The US authorities will be interested in talking with them for breaking SEC laws for soliciting money from US investors during the ICO for ICN tokens that are unregistered securities since they're shares in Iconomi that receive dividends.
ALL US citizens if those USD really were from US... can got FULL REFUND if they feel scammed now. Oh... maybe not becouse price is 3x ICO what a BS statements. ICONOMI was not operating in US to obey US law your responsibility is where you put your money.

As far as I know the fork was activated during the what you called ninja mining. At what block height will the new more stable fork be activated?

Did you read the link you posted? It states that they will launch in 2019 Question: Why would people buy crypto funds from shady Middlemen in Slovenia (Iconomi), while they can skip these middle men and buy identical crypto funds on a decentralized platform like MelonPort or TaaS where everything from trades to performance is transparent, and especially since these other platforms can also hold funds safely in Cold Storage which eliminates DAO-like hacks?
Why would it be shady? Are you even capable of pointing where is that without googleMaps? If you try to spreed FUD, sell your stash and buy some shitcoins. Or open your own platform if you know it better "Shady Middlemen" because: [ Now you tell me how investors are supposed to trust them with millions of dollars if ICN holders are ever going to see any dividends. Yes you are right, now i see it, i will go and buy Purevidz or Taas or some other of the great projects that people mention here ......... Neither of those are like Iconomi you guys are comparing apples and oranges. MelonPort = Decentralized & Trustless Iconomi http://www.coindesk.com/meet-the-ex-banker-using-ethereum-to-take-on-traditional-hedge-funds/Game Over Iconomi

C-cex never said that they will add a multiplier in the first place. Shady exchange... Best to be avoided at all costs if you ask me. Only 3 days till C-CEX closes the refund process and multiplies all HEAT IOU there.
If you want to sell your HEAT IOU - sell it now. Current sell price is about 0.00010937.
If you are looking to buy some more HEAT - buy it from C-CEX now and they will multiply it by x1.5 in 3 days. For every 1 BTC spent on HEAT on C-CEX you will get 1.5 BTC worth of HEAT.

If you mean that ICN/BTC pair, then I am pretty sure that you are wrong. Take a look at that price...

Join the slack, there are a bunch of helpful people there and the devs come around more often as well... Official blockchain download was updated. Seems to work now, but still getting few "Invalid bid order", many "Process unconfirmed-transaction", and just now a few "Trying to send invalid unconfirmed transaction to peer, removing transaction". Not sure what this means exactly.
@HEAT, please don't be so quiet. Tell us what you're doing about all that.
Agree with you - HEAT, please give updates as to what is being done to resolve current problems, and also what is to be expected in the next days in regard to new features, releases and such.

So I have been doing a more thorough read and found this which was stated by the dev:
Jewels that are acquired through the Jewels Heroes Shop are being accumulated into a secondary development fund.
How much is in that fund now?
Also, in the first posts I read that Apex will have Jewels integrated but later after the ICO I only see Heroes mentioned. Are Jewels integrated into Apex or not?

Which 70 nodes? The ones that are listed in the nodes.cgi file? The situation is normalizing with https://heatwallet.com back up and 70+ nodes on the main fork. This may be useful to add in heat-default.properties for now: Remove the current list and use heat.wellKnownPeers=144.76.3.50;188.166.3.190;78.46.99.11 Restart server, possibly delete blockchain directory if problems
