Validated both of my keys successfully. Thanks

Guide for Verifying your Keys

We are encouraging everyone to validate their keys, so I have created a very simple guide you can follow for verifying the keys.

By validating your passphrases you will contribute in making the launch of Lisk smoother.

We suggest everyone to verify their generated keys, the more we have verified, the better. Smiley

Thanks!

Joel

Wrong. The amount raised is for Lisk development and not Crypti...

LISK AND CRYPTI WILL GROW TOGETHER

New Link for the CryptiWallet is

https://cryptiwallet.lisk.io/

LiskHQ (Max) is trying to find Devs for Crypti

(source) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654463.12260

I'm not trying to find developers. Just stated if someone wants to "take over" Crypti development, he should get in contact with me. Smiley

If I had the coding capabilities to do so, I would. But I'm sure developers will jump on it once they can use the Lisk development to improve Crypti.

7 million dollar for lisk development and Crypti improvement

I will vote for you as well Smiley

My delegate node is up and running on my local testnet. If anyone wants any help in setting up a node, let me know. Be sure to add me to any voting list!  I am testing on my local network. I will be setting up my main delegate node on a VPS in London and running one on my home PC (Kent, UK) But i am not campaigning for votes for this one. I am only having it to help secure the network.

Visit my facebook page if your haven't, https://www.facebook.com/lisklondon/info/?tab=page_info,  and get in contact with me if your from the UK!! I want to plan some competitions for the start of the first term of the 16/17 year at universities etc. 70% of my node is being locked away into funding DApp development competitions. I have no interest in taking any of it. I have enough LISK from my initial ICO investment and the 30% i am keeping for node maintenance, i am sure in years to come, will be enough.

If LISK does get to silly money, i will lower my stake from 30% -10%. I don't want to be earning money being part of the 101. I want to secure the network and fund development.

Good luck to everybody, remember to give us a shout if you need any help.

Pinkman.

So pinkmann is in the series a heavy druguser and drugdealer And there are people chearing up with druguser and drugdealer with a serious mult-million-company, which is working with fintech technology. Fintech, where seriousity and reliability is the key.

Lisk good luck!

Its a username... I made it in 2014. Sorry that I can't have a bit of fun with it. There seems to be a lot of people interested in campaigning for a node. But i doubt the majority have done as much as me. I have a working node on testnet with 100% uptime (only been 12 hours or so) and have also included some security measures.

Mine also isn't for a quick buck. Its dapp competitions and development.

I'm probably quite a good person to vote for seeing as where I work I can remote into my node, and when I'm not at work I can do the same. So minus sleep I can always maintain its service and uptime.

This looks pretty sweet and could get thousands of developers interested in Lisk in a very short time..

Hi, everyone!

I'm the initial Crypti investor that kick-started the whole project financially back at 2014.

All the lisk rewarded from Delegates ran by DRDD, be used to form a DAPPs fund.
All the funds will go to dapp which have most of votes in "DAPP Contest".
As soon as the funds be enough to develop, they will be transferred to the winner. After that new "DAPP Contest" will start.
Or say you already have a DAPP. And it's really great and useful? You can participate in contest and win funds for promotion.

I would like to see everyone in cooperation with me. DAAPs is one of the most attractive part of Lisk. As much DAAPs we will have as much attractive our platform will be for everyone. Everyone should find the dapp he needs in Lisk DAPP Store.

Please take a look at the uploaded file with foundation working process. https://lisk.chat/ufs/rocketchat_uploads/6YDbmKuxK7BGi2t8p/drdd.png
Numbers are not final. The all can be adjusted. Say 40% for voters, 55% for contest, 5% for support, or whatever.
Here is the lisk chat channel: https://lisk.chat/channel/drdd
Lisk forum thread link: https://forum.lisk.io/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=111#p322

You are welcome to discuss any question.

Feels great to see the initial investor who started Crypti 2 years ago in here. It says a lot about your belief in DAPPs and their potential.

I made a list of top prominent coding contest sites below.

Lisk Dev Team should run the next Dapp Contests on these sites if we want to see DAPPs good for real life use:

Look at the number of submissions in these coding contests:

Why would the devs spend the money on a buywall when they can spend it on actual development which will in turn increase the price of the Lisk business?

I for one know that if there will be a dump then I will be on the buying side of those coins. I already have like 400 ETH ready at Polo Smiley

Yes, there will be monthly transparency reports. We will tell how much BTC/USD went to marketing, how much to salaries, how much to hardware, how much to infrastructure.. And so on. Wink
That would be great.

I still dont get when the devs of succesful ICO team says, we dont spend a single satoshi on market support.
If I have 6 million at my disposal to make a product succeed, I would be willing to buy back from the market below ICO price, which I can dilute later when the features are delivered - making more money for the further development of the coin. If the devs cant do that, it shows lack of faith in their own coin  to me.

Right!

WRONG!

From a marketing point of view it is, yes, from an SEO point of view it is just one pebble in the sea...

SEO has a fine line between actually helping a website or destroying its search engine presence so to encourage people who probably have zero SEO knowledge to do SEO could result in shooting yourself in the foot. And here is wouldn't even be helpful... Should we optimize for Lisk? That doesn't help Smiley

SEO for which keywords? SEO is not the answer here... Marketing is the answer.

To be fair, he's right about Wikipedia.

SEO for which keywords? SEO is not the answer here... Marketing is the answer.

One of the important things to be sucessful with LISK is the community! , Do-it-yourself!!
The responsibility is in your hand!

Hello,
I am not a proffesional programmer, but i know how we can promote LISK with a professional (SEO)search engine optimization

For the proffessional programmer:
-Please make a video about Altcoins/BTC/ETH on youtube(The 10 best altcoins for 2016), say that LISK is the best one, and say exaxtly why.
-Open a new Discussion about the best altcoins(Say that you are a professional programmer and that you are experienced) Wink
-Add Lisk in Wikipedia(its very good for the (SEO)

For the SEO:
The video discription and Title from the video is very important, the discription should have many Keywords and should be long(about 400 words).
Give Youtube as many Information as you can:location,...
Make in the discription Links from all important (message) boards about Lisk.
Write Lisk vs Ethereum or BTC , we use the Keyword Ethereum or BTC for us.
Write a Article about Lisk and sent the article to a huge BTC-Blog.

For the normal skilled users:
-Commend
-Follow
-Like
-visite often different blogs about Lisk
-Open a new Discussion on sides like https://bitcointalk.org about Lisk with the Topic ( I have invested in Lisk, what do you think about?, anything about Lisk)
-Link the Lisk HP and massanger boards often in your comments
-Make a Facebook Fanpage about Lisk with many Keywords(Write other Facebook pages about BTC or Altcoins and post there)

We have to link every fucking Video and good blog, then Google will rank Lisk forward!
If a person is searching Lisk on Google our good Videos and Blogs are there Wink
Good LUCK i hope we are the best Community!

And for all : Please don't distract the LISK Bosses with useless Things!

I am also thinking of running a node for Lisk. Will I get any votes from you guys?

I already know of a few that I will vote for for sure like Mal, banana....
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 23, 2016, 09:07:05 PM
Congrats to you Joel! This is a great first step because now Max and Oliver can concentrate on the development side of things. Although I hope that they will add more developers soon as well. Keep it up guys!

The Lisk Team is Expanding - Introducing Joel Fernández as the Lisk Community Manager!

Now that the crowd-fund is over we can concentrate on hiring a great team with valuable skills. The first one who will enrich the Lisk team is Joel Fernández. As of now he is the official Lisk Community Manager and will act as the bridge between the community and the Lisk core team.

Read the full blog post about Joel's tasks at Lisk now!

PS: Joel is "Bigcabrito" here on Bitcointalk.

Thank you Max and Oliver for being such hard workers and putting the time needed to make this ICO a success. They have set the stepping stones for what will be the next frontier on the Internet of Things.  I am extremely excited in having the opportunity to make Lisk a top crypto-currency platform. My commitment to the community will be second to none, I will be listening to the community, answering support requests, building guides, keep track of social sites and blogging to increase media coverage.

Effective today, I am relieving Max and Oliver from community tasks so that they may concentrate on more important matters such as building the team, research towards improving the Lisk platform, future development plans and effective fund management among others. They have done a splendid job tackling the different parts of this immense project. Be assured that Max and Oliver will still be around to answer the technical questions I cannot answer. Fortunately, many of the concerns that the community has are the same I have had in the past. I will work tireless to address these concerns and continue to grow together.

Lisk is a great project with an excellent vision, hardworking people and proper funding and could heavily compete in the crypto-currency space. We are in the top #20 crowdfunded projects of all time! That says something about the confidence the community has in the project.

What does this mean for Lisk? Well, as you know, Lisk will expand throughout the end of the month and the beginning of April. If you have any questions or concerns you may now officially PM me through here, or you can join the lisk.chat.

I will do my best to answer any questions to the best of my knowledge. Thank you again, and let's get ready for 2016, Lisk has arrived.

Guys let's talk dapps. Those are the products that can make Lisk jump over and above all other cryptos.

I was thinking about games, mobile games to be specific. Which kind of games would be made better due to them being a dapp instead of an app? The mobile gaming market is trilion dollar industry with their micro payments. If we can tap into that then a billion dollar market cap will be a breeze...
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 22, 2016, 11:27:23 PM
Yes, here is the documentation:

https://lisk.io/documentation?i=lisk-docs/README

Can someone please let me know - what is the advantage for JavaScript developers to create dApps?  I mean this for Ethereum or Lisk, or any decentralized crypto.  What really is the point?  Is there massive profit potential for developers?

Developers make apps to make money, generally.  If there's money to be made with Lisk dApps, JavaScript developers will naturally be drawn to it.  If there's no money, then what's the method for enticing them?

Not everyone wants to create open-source apps and give them away for free.  There's a reason Apple's App Store attracts so many developers, and yet other app stores and platforms go nowhere.  Is lisk building an App Store akin to Apple's?  Or are you guys who invested in Lisk basically wanting JavaScript developers to get excited by this language for the purpose of your own investment.

Put yourself in a JavaScript developer's shoes - what's in it for them?

P.S. I'm a JavaScript / software engineer myself.

construct new business models around distributed apps and distributed data. disrupt established markets and dominant players.

Now that you've brought up the subject, is there a Developer's Guide?
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 22, 2016, 11:43:49 AM
I would be happier if we got 1000 developers excited about Lisk then 1000 crypto investors... If we have top notch apps and developers making news ones, then the price will rise without the need for traders.

And a JavaScript email newsletter with close to 100,000 subscribers - you really need to get an interview in that!

http://javascriptweekly.com/

It's run by Pete Cooper - you REALLY need to talk to / get interviewed by this guy...

https://twitter.com/peterc

Oliver lives literally only 100 miles from Pete Cooper....

And Pete Cooper also runs a Bitcoin newsletter....

http://bitcoinweekly.com/

Probably more important to be on Coindesk & Bitcoin Magazine etc. first.

Cryptocoin media exposure is certainly important.  But Lisk will live or die on the level of support received from JavaScript programmers.
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 22, 2016, 09:26:06 AM
Which Dapp is 500 lisk?

Dapp is so expensive(500lisk) if the price of Lisk is high, not much programmers will follow it...
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 22, 2016, 08:25:56 AM
Translated into $ Lisks ICO was larger the Augur. Check the stats on their site, it says $5,3m.

Lol, Lisk will never go or be on Kraken ... c'mon guys !

Why not?

ETH is on Kraken and it accounts for 50% of Kraken trading volume:
http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/kraken/

You don't think they'll noticed 2nd largest ICO ?

Lisk was the second largest ICO?....Really?  Are you sure it was bigger than the Augur crowdfund?  If it was bigger than the Augur ICO, I'm gonna have to start questioning my decision making skills here....Hmmm?

896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 21, 2016, 12:56:09 PM
The bolded part sums it up perfectly! And with the large amount of BTC the development can take place!

Can somone explain me what was the advantage if i was buying this during the ico?

you get to lose 60% of the value of your purchase after they dump the coin and line their pockets and the smart people buy it dirt cheap

It's quite simple. When some great useable dapps get created the price will go to 100.000 sat easy. Ethereum is at 10, 20 times more and delivered nothing yet.

Lisk could put Ethereum out of business if they play their cards right, invest a lot of cash in the networdk and killer dapps! VHS - Betamax
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 18, 2016, 12:25:04 PM
I disagree. It is easier to grow with $5m then with $1m...

While I understand that my investments value is unchanged, I'm getting less than happy about this.
Growing the market cap from this level will be much harder.

Also, I controled like 3% of all Crypti supply, not so much with Lisk. Smiley
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 17, 2016, 11:28:25 AM
This. If we have a good product then we will win.

It's funny how everybody think they're designers Smiley Lisk already has a logo, forget about it. What it needs is development and marketing.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 17, 2016, 12:29:19 AM
Instead of focusing on the logo I think that we all should be giving dapp ideas. So who has an idea that they would like to see get made into a dapp?

Devs, what kind of ideas are best suited for dapps? Crowdfunding, crowdsourcing? Give the people some clues and maybe we can think of some good ideas...
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 16, 2016, 01:02:04 PM
I just found out how to use the ignore button on this forum. Makes things easier so I don't have to read all the red text and BS.

As for a question, I would also like to know how the devs plan to use the funds that they raise. If it were me and I would have $2m to use I would do it like this:

$1,25m for hiring more developers
$500k for grants to app developers (bounties and incentives for their development) for example, I would offer a 100k reward to the first app that gets to 100k users or something like that (or the first one to process 100k transactions or something similar)
$250k for marketing

I think that the essential thing is to get many developers interested in this platform and also develop your own dapps and improvements to the platform.
