Most of the PPCoin is being traded at the following site, 118k in the last 24 hours. https://ppcexchange.bitparking.com/mainPPCoin has been largely unaffected by the rise in the cost of BTC until now. It seems that time is catching up with PPC and it is now finding its value in a $14BTC world.

Rabbit please sell out of TRC now the prices are decent and move to any of the other living alt-coins.
I know you've been pushing TRC pretty hard but personally this is the last coin I would choose. You cannot talk to the Terracoin developers or find out anything about them. This could be a pump-and-dump coin or a private coin that people have accidentally discovered. If I was to make a coin for a pump-and-dump I would do exactly as the TRC developers have done. It seems that we do not know enough about this coin to really put community support behind it, not when we have the likes of Litecoin, PPCoin and Freicoin.
Please feel free to correct me as I'd like to be reassured about TRC.

BFL posted an update on their forum which had the following information. With regards to upgrading your shipping, our new system should be online this week. Once we are comfortable with it, you should be able to email or phone us to upgrade your shipping to DHL, EMS, FedEx or UPS as your convenience. Email is best of course, and probably the fastest way to start the process. Source: https://forums.butterflylabs.com/announcements/692-bfl-asic-status.html

As I understand it if BFL ship with the shipping I have paid for my ASIC may end up sitting in UK customs.
Others have said on this site that when we get options for shipping we will be able to choose something that will be whisked past customs with minimal fuss.
Now we will soon get shipping options but what should I choose for shipping to the UK, DHL, EMS, FedEx or UPS?

It's merge minable... anyone who is running a private pool probably just added it as a merge mined currency. It's free extra money if you're already mining BTC.
Not yet it's not. Here's a quote from maaku. Any merge-mined variant of FRC would be a fork, and the blocks mined would be orphaned from the main chain, and anyone transacting on both chains would be in danger of having their coins stolen.
There has been discussion on IRC, our forums, and elsewhere on the subject of merged mining, and do intent to fully support at the appropriate time.

I've been looking at the Freicoin difficulty to predict what it will be at the next change. I've pulled data from the Freicoin hashrate graphs shown below. Source: http://www.freicoin.org/freicoin-hash-rate-graph-t82.htmlI got together the date of the difficulty change and the second chart above to check the hashrate at the point of change. The first chart is logarithmic. Date of change - First block after change - Difficulty - Approx Hashrate 2013-01-03 15:56:56 - 14,112 - 9,772 - 104Gh/s 2012-12-28 19:07:08 - 12,096 - 4,096 - 52Gh/s 2012-12-25 13:25:15 - 10,080 - 1,024 - 30Gh/s 2012-12-23 18:36:44 - 8,064 - 256 - 7Gh/s Difficulty changes every 2016 blocks so we can expect the next change at 16,128. The current hashrate is 57Gh/s and if this keeps going we can expect a new difficulty around 4,096. The network is progressing at around 100 blocks a day so we should expect this change in 10 days time on the 24th January.

You can still sell your LTC to members of the Litecoin cult before it ends up at 0.003BTC per LTC again.
Bitcoin is so high it is crushing all the altcoins. Perhaps we can trim off some of the altcoins.

Hopefully it has been sold to a company that can actually deliver. This could be a good thing for the people who eventually get a bASIC product.

I think I'd rather have the auction fail than get 0.05BTC for a $20 game. Maybe I should have posted this in the goods forum for cold hard BTC

Really? No one wants to start bidding on RAGE. It is such an awesome shooter. It had graphical bugs at launch which got everyone hating it but they fixed those.
After this auction I have Deus Ex: Human Revolution, F.E.A.R 3, Orcs Must Die! 2 and Mirror's Edge to auction. If you want to bid on those this one has to sell.

I'd say Scrybe set the initial price of FRC for all.
Whatever the next alt-coin is I sincerely doubt it will get anywhere near the level of interest of FRC. I'm still looking forward to playing with it. I love all the alt-coins and would love to see MicroCash come out.

This is an auction for a Steam copy of RAGE. For more information on this game follow the link below. http://store.steampowered.com/app/9200/Starting bid: 25LTC Increments: 5LTC Auction will close in 48 hours at 19:00 GMT So I figured it would be time to create an auction in a real currency for a change

So what's the going rate for 1,000FRC now that the difficulty is 9772?
I still have 3,300FRC left but am not mining any more at the moment. Then again, message me with a decent offer for my coins and maybe I'll have to return.

Do you have any way to tell how much hashing power your fork is getting?
By the way if this succeeds I expect you will ruin FRC for all.
It's getting 0 hash power. I doubt a compiled binary of this exists anywhere. It's not even a fork yet. It just removes one check from the code. I've compiled it just for fun

Oh I see. You're looking to get over 51% of the FRC hashing power running this fork. Like a hostile takeover.
This needs to be a new chain not a takeover. Maaku I don't suppose you'd be interested in running a demurrage coin without the 80% non-miner distribution.

re E-cash.... sigh we may well start something that cannot be complete as what about swagbucks too.... i think the idea would be to list all btc forks or blockchain related currencies right ?
Perhaps if we could look at ecash we'd realise that Bitcoin is an ecash fork
