541  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM WARNING] QI Blockchain Plagiarized Whitepaper and Website Content on: September 27, 2022, 08:45:33 PM
Reading all the response of Jawadu, I was surprised he does not understand the implication of plagiarism or what it really means. Any software that states a writeup has been plagiarized means the word wasn't said for the first time and was sourced elsewhere. We might not have access to the word right away, but the internet had a backup of it. My sadness stems from how badly the negative trust has been painted, as well as the difficulty in supporting Jawadu's actions.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a testnet? on: September 26, 2022, 05:39:39 AM
hello all, I have some problems about testnets.

what is a testnet?? why Ethereum has  more than one test net??  could anyone give me a clear answer and offer me some resources for more education??

Thank you!

I see you already have a topic asking about this testnet, have you found any testnet projects, in my opinion, don't try to learn too much about them without practice. I recommend you find any project with testnet and join the testnet group of that project, you will get the most practical experience from which you will have your answer.
He already made a thread on the acquisition of testnet reward before finding out about testnet itself. Firstly, I don't find the reward of testnet worth the while, because the number of people interested are usually high,so these reward are so insignificantly small. As much as bitcoin talk help on every question on cryptocurrency, the definition on testnet can be search engine can help out too. Don't wait on testnet, this is the best time to purchase those coins and 100x
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 24, 2022, 05:47:00 PM

The problem Bayer Munich are facing is not having a favourable football formation,  the coach needs to work on it.  Bayern Munich started very well for the season. Mane played like who was already used to the league, we all saw mane efforts in contributing for the team to win  most of their games. Now that the team is going through this difficult challenge I think it is the duty of the coach to work on the team .  Mane is still a good signing for Bayern  Munich.
Tell me one german coach that is doing well now, even the national team coach is not performing. I dont know if it is a spell
544  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What can stop the Russia-Ukraine crisis. on: September 24, 2022, 05:37:38 PM
Been thinking about this Russia-Ukraine crisis and how long it has lasted. When the crisis started it wasn't expected for it to last this long, a lot of person expected either Russia to abandon the invasion or Ukraine to agree to Russia's terms, but it has stayed long and looking to stay a bit longer. Apart from the reasons of Russia just choosing to quit the war and Ukraine agreeing to the terms of Russia, what other possible reasons could lead to the end of this crisis?

The death of the last Russian soldier in Ukraine will stop this war.
one will think this would have stopped the war until you get to know the plan of the Government to mobilize the citizens with no prior military training into the army. He is doing it out of their will and 300k army is meant to mobilized in coming days, another source said 1.2 million. sadly this is not the first time Russia is doing it, the last time also failed. This is not a country that encourage immigrants, so the citizens are the victims. A war the trained soldier could not win, how will the untrained perform better?  A lot of the citizens are looking for avenue to travel out, some looking for scholarship, some through cars, boat, to add salt to their injuries the flight fee has gone up. Everyone is the target even the well educated

546  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase Faces Class Action Lawsuit Over Alleged Lapses in Security on: August 26, 2022, 05:10:38 PM
It seems like the issue is a lot more due to very bad customer service, rather than bad security. As far as I know Coinbase hasn't had a major breach yet, and the "hacks" are mostly due to user error, rather than problems with the Coinbase platform.
Has coinbase made any public response on the allegation? I dont know of any hack and that baffles me, I smell a plan to make some money from the exchange, If the exchange is guilty they are likely to settle out of court. 5million is a small fund to afford such rigmarole in the media by coinbase. Chances are likely that the lawyers wants make money from the prosecutor
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching Bitcoin To My Friends| You're invited too on: August 25, 2022, 06:07:16 PM

548  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it true that Satoshi Nakamoto has 1.1 million bitcoins ? on: August 19, 2022, 05:53:26 AM

Transaction from wallet: 12cbQLTFMXRnSzktFkuoG3eHoMeFtpTu3S - Senders
End to wallet: 1Q2TWHE3GMdB6BZKafqwxXtWAWgFt5Jvm3 - Recipients

If the wallet really belongs to satoshi when sending 10 bitcoin to Hal Finney, then I can actually see the wallet is still actively accepting bitcoin as of now where the last transaction occurred one week ago. There is 18.43878748 BTC in the wallet currently but no more outgoing transactions right now.

https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/f4184fc596403b9d638783cf57adfe4c75c605f6356fbc91338530e9831e9e16

https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/address/12cbQLTFMXRnSzktFkuoG3eHoMeFtpTu3S
There is no proof that the wallet had up to 1 million coin at any time and the wallet is as old as bitcoin itself with the last sent coin in 2009. So where does the rumour of the 1 million bitcoin possesion comes from? I still believe that satoshi is not an individual, its a group of people. If he has the forum then there are chances the forum members related with him at a point and know his whereabouts?
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ITO] WPP ENERGY TOKEN - TOKEN TO BE TIED TO THE VALUE OF H2 on: August 18, 2022, 06:20:50 PM
These news are just distractions, have been with the project long enough to not have seen great executions in term of the initial roadmap but they all look like bluffs. The project is just a normal cryptocurrency project that got coin on exchanges, sadly they couldn't do more than 2 exchanges after 4 or more year and also adding new coin that they cant justify the reason for it. Have never enjoyed such a bad communicating team. I can't but express my frustration after holding for so long.
550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: More than 30% of an entire population of Georgia banned from gambling... on: August 18, 2022, 02:34:07 PM
You post does not give enough information for the topic. The number of registered population for gambling may have 2 or more registration from the same person, which may not indicate that number out of the whole population. Other information on the ban and restricted individual does not have a significant number in the population and does not align with the subject.
551  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I am seem to be jobless and not bothered. on: August 18, 2022, 02:17:38 PM
In my country your neighbor can even inform the police that you are a fraudster. The have this parochial belief that you must go out of the house in the morning and come back in the evening before they would consider you as employed and productive. You don't also need to stay in the balcony always except there is a reason for that. For me I am always indoor and my neighbors are not really aware when I am in or out.
I have a lot of concern about this, some are as a result of the misuse of opportunities and some came out of the execceisve way of life, youthful exorbirant. Bitcoin profit making give a massive profit that changes standard of living in quick term but the young guys are too careless to manage their emotions. They buy luxury cars, spend in the club and some even buy guns and pay for security. In the third world countries with weak currency, the dollar conversion make those profit so massive. I think the young guys dont need to use their gadget outside for everyone to see, live on lowkey without excesses, get streams of businesses from the profit in cryptocurrency and get married if possible with responsible lifestyle. Remote job is known in first world countries but not everywhere, if you have to stay at home stay indoor and spend carefully

553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]✨✨✨ NUGEN ✨✨✨A Web 3.0 Initiative to Make Crypto Accessible for All on: August 15, 2022, 09:39:18 PM
What is the staking reward for the token?
Have heard a lot of discouraging review on the position of Defi in cryptocurrency, what make the project think they thrive with such sentiment in the market?
How does the team plan to distribute token purchased at crowdfunding?
554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why People Use Bitcointalk on: August 14, 2022, 01:39:45 PM
I have an account on altcointalk and my visit to the forum has been rare, sincerely the forum is not in the same standard of Bitcointalk, it is full of spam posts and the forum moderators are too relax to control it, maybe they want to encourage many users especially those that are ban from here. Twitter looks like the major forum for cryptocurrency, especially becuase of the large audience but it does not have the storage of information on cryptocurrency that can be found here.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AfterBurner.Finance | DeFi 3.0 Redesigned | 10,100% APY ~ 1.28% Daily ROI on: August 12, 2022, 10:01:14 PM
Might I ask will there be a bounty campaign for promotion? I could really use a good signature campaign right about now, been a long while since I was able to find a good gem, especially these days!  Sad

the campaign will be in the third week by tomorrow and the budget at such a time in the bear market is okay if you can hold for long, the only challenge in high interest from hunters. The project has both social media and signature campaign, the number of participant is also not limited and handled by a reputable campaign manager.  Who are the partners the project is planning to work with?
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sovryn - Brings DeFi to Bitcoin on: August 11, 2022, 06:00:46 PM
Am not surprised with the dump back to listing price am only surprised that the team stop allowing projects and crowdfunding for new ones. Could it be that the team is only active when the market is bullish? They also need new idea asides Defi for listing coins
The team was so garbage. It's like a dictator. It could be true. Sovryn price didn't even moving once another token in the market is slowly moving up again. This stupid mechanism that let supply to inflate so fast was hurting the token so much. The team didn't even wanna spend money to be listed on big exchange site. They are always seeing this as a thing that didn't need to be done. This crap may die soon. The price is very very low. It's purely pump and dump based on hype.
When you have a dump at 99% in the bear, the token gets difficult to pick up and very hard predict in the next cycle. Defi is having a very bad experience and I dont think the Defi features in ethereum can revive the idea after the merge. If ethereum cant definitely not rootstock, so they need to come out with new idea, however, using the token as transaction fee put it up. All token on sovryn do not have to Defi. SOV is on one Exchange but they came very late in the cycle to get more listing
557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitepaper still a thing? on: August 10, 2022, 06:50:10 PM
If you are newbies, don't read whitepaper because scammers will write very attractive ones to make you believe in their projects.

If you read, don't trust in white paper that is too good in graphics and have too many good promises in technology and finance.

You can skip white paper of new or upcoming projects, and only choose projects that have 4 or 6 years in history to invest. If they exist 4 or 6 years, they are not scam and no rug pull.

If you know how to use explorers, use it to check token distribution. If distribution is too centralized, risk of rug pull.
experience will help everyone to read whitepaper, it took me time to know what to look at in whitepaper. There are no guarantee that a 4 year and more project can be succesful, I used to beleive in that until the last cycle came with new hype like the Defi, NFTs etc. that left bitcoin hardfork coin, privacy tokens etc out of the cycle. However, some project idea will last several cycle eg. exchange coin that have several used cases like IEO, transaction fee, blockchain
558  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitepaper still a thing? on: August 10, 2022, 02:30:43 PM
Most fake projects plagiarized white paper of another project, you can easily tell that a project is fake if plagiarized white paper is used. White paper contains the information about a project for you to know the aims and objectives of the project, it is good to consider reading it. But having legit white paper does not still guarantee a project not to still fail or resulting to pump and dump.
Because fake projects plagiarize whitepaper does not reduce the importance of whitepaper, all projects must have whitepaper. We just need to look beyond whitepaper to determine a viable project. Even real projects fail, could be hacked and could later scam. At the moment investors are still learning  and new scam idea are coming up daily in crypto, that is the reason for good investment strategy, not putting all your investment in a project.
559  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia is the most aggressive country on: August 09, 2022, 07:22:10 PM
How can you say Russia is the most aggressive country in the world? I think Rome was the most aggressive, than Great Britain, and than North Korea.

Is not talking in the context of people but the way the government of Russia had tried to enforce his presence in his territory, if you can read the text he related it to previous government even before the Soviet Union.
