541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Governments Shutdown the Internet? on: June 26, 2017, 04:00:35 AM
I honestly think Bitcoin isn't decentralized enough considering that government still controls the Internet and can easily censor or shut them down (is this even possible?) anytime.
The move by government to make us go cashless by gradually phasing out cash is even more worrisome, could make them have absolute control over us.
We need some sort of decentralized "physical Bitcoin" that doesn't depend on the Internet and can be exchanged for online Bitcoin.  It is too risky not to have offline alternatives to Bitcoin to act as backup plan for online Bitcoin in case something big goes wrong.

Pls I need to know something,  Is it possible to exchange Bitcoin with other people without being connected to the Internet?
Let say the government bans the Internet and you have your Bitcoin offline(in cold storage right?), can you exchange the Bitcoin to the next person by simply transferring some Bitcoin from cold storage to his/her computer, phone or even data storage devices(like SD Card, USB, Hard drive etc)?
If this is possible then no need for the "Physical Bitcoin"

As you have said, bitcoin can still be sent by copying the paper or cold wallet into their computer using flash drives or SD cards. But I don't think it will be of use. Let's say internet was banned, VPN are shut down, no connection, just phone and telegraph, you think people will be still using bitcoin? If that happens no one will be using bitcoin and the world will be boring and disastrous as hell.
542  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 2500$ / $3000 ? on: June 26, 2017, 12:05:15 AM
Already we are above $2500, and we have reached very near to $3000. From that users have been much into the speculation of touching $3000. Weeks back it was to reach but fortunately an sudden price drop took it towards $2000. So the price to reach $3000 is uncertain and hope this happens within weeks.

I have seen articles that are saying that the price went up high already at $3,000 but it didn't take longer as it went back again. But I haven't witnessed it so maybe it's going to happen after this adoption of Australia or after the August 1.

The $3000 price wall might be breached but it will not last long. I also expected that because it is too early for bitcoin to reach that price, maybe after the network splitting we will be seeing it. The adoption of Australia is being a big thing and an event to look forward to but no one is paying any of their attention to India.
543  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: June 25, 2017, 08:20:08 PM
Price matters a lot. Because if you make a polling of users getting into bitcoin, majority of them were into it just based on the increased pricing. So pricing is the one that makes the people into the bitcoin usage and the rest is upon their understanding about bitcoin.

That is right, the reason investors and users try to put their money into bitcoin is because of it's volatility. They want to earn profit from the fast changing price of bitcoin every minute, and it is the most highest price of all digital currencies so it is obvious. And it is predicted that it will be pumping up more so it is making investors and users hyped to invest more in these digital currency.

546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as the currency of the future? on: June 25, 2017, 09:44:11 AM
Bitcoin is becoming a profitable and popular currency day by day, many countries are considering it in order to allow as a legal currency. Japan already approved it as a legal currency so it can be a trusted currency for everywhere. So I strongly believe that Bitcoin will be the future currency...

It can't be trusted by much specially this time where the network splitting is making many users and investors panic. They are being scared of what may happen to bitcoin, though I don't think there are no reason to be scared. It will just dump and we will be using bitcoin like the other month.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy bitcoins before or after August 1st? on: June 25, 2017, 02:32:27 AM
Actually it depends on your budget if you have funds, just buy now. Buy bitcoin and invest, you will never know the next price of bitcoin. Though its price is volatile but I believe it will rise and we will earn profit. So buy, invest and earn profit.

I don't think you must buy bitcoin today, the price is still high and we all know the price can still dump. It is good if you can buy bitcoin week before August because that where mostly the dump happens. After that week we all know it will be pumping up again because the network splitting will be over.
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: August 1, Bitcoin will Ends? on: June 24, 2017, 09:37:07 PM
Bitcoin will seperate after august 1?

or

Bitcoin will end?

Some of sites written about this.

Need a Expert opinion or Real news. So waiting....

It wll not separate because it is not joined at the first place. They will be just splitting the network into Bitcoin that we know and Bitcoin Classic. Saying that I don't think that it will be ending, there will be just new altcoin, Bitcoin Classic. So I don't think bitcoin will end just like that, with all the users nd investors, bitcoin will be immortal.
549  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Cryptocurrencies goin' down on: June 24, 2017, 02:07:44 PM
Ganun talaga may pump which is ang pagtaas and may dump ang pagbaba naman. Ganun, pero when there is a dump may big pump so mas tataas sya as time past by.

if you say WHALES, its never a suicide for them kahit shit o real coin pa yan. Pwede nila mamove ang market up and down, whatever and whenever they decide. Ang suicide jan ang mga small fish.

Dont underestimate whales, nanjan sila sa lahat ng coins.  Wink Most of the time di lang natin mararamdaman.

550  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: June 24, 2017, 05:33:23 AM
I don't know if this article is legit or just some destruction in the internet: https://dcebrief.com/new-u-s-law-to-replace-dollar-with-bitcoin/ but in my own opinion, I don;t think bitcoin can replace dollars that easily. Not in 15 years. Too much to do, too much to adjust.

Bitcoin will not really replace dollars or other fiats that easily, not just in 15 years but in 100 years. Bitcoin is a good currency for the people, but with it's current state now, I don't think it will be a primary currency of one country. And if bitcoin will be a primary currency, replacing fiats, do you think all the people can keep up with it? Not all people are that updated especially about technologies.
551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this right time to buy bitcoin?? on: June 24, 2017, 12:35:56 AM
As long as you can afford to buy, just continue to buy bitcoin. If it is not yet reaching the value of 10,000$ it can be considered not expensive yet.

For you it is, but $2700 is quite expensive for us. That is why we don't but bitcoin, we just find alternative ways to earn bitcoin like signature campaign, some services and joining some bounties. I can't afford bitcoin so I invest my money on altcoins, after that I convert them to bitcoin. And I think $10000 will happen in the far future, maybe 10 - 20 years from now.
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: June 23, 2017, 04:26:33 AM
Of course yes, anyone can used bitcoin, even the student, vendor or ordinary people. Even the rich level of people allowed to used bitcoin. Because bitcoin is for anyone or for everyone.

Don't say it like that it is like you are saying that rich people needs a permission to use bitcoin. We can just say it can be used by all except you are in a country with censored internet connection. I also heard that students are investing in bitcoin and use some of their profit to help their studies which is really great.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2017, 09:37:52 PM
People use bitcoin because they want to earned income or additional salary also people wants to use it as preparation to the future currency usage.

From the title of the thread, you are using the present tense while the question is in the future tense, by the way bitcoin has a high price, that ia right, and we all know that it pumps and dumps but still it give profit to users, so I think that is one reason. Another one is because will be widely used by the world in the future so you will be a part of it earlier than the world do.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DCORP Crowdsale - Democratizing Venture Capitalism on: June 22, 2017, 01:02:46 PM

I see a large project is DCORP in which there is a management team and work hard in order to be a successful project and success, if you add a signature campaign then it will really help in promoting this project and this will be a token price increased for the future due to the success of many people involved in the project

You are a part of the project, you are promoting the project and added the signature. We are so lucky to be part of these project. As the one promoting their project, we are also putting our effort to do our job, and they are too to make this project successful. I just hope that more investors invest in this project.

Received the payment sir Yahoo. Thank you.
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about rumors that bitcoin is going to die? on: June 21, 2017, 11:29:26 PM
I heard some folks on Quora that bitcoin is going to die but blockchain is the future. What do you guys think of this?
Until earth exist and mankind lives bitcoin will gonna die for sure. It will only be gone if end of the world comes.
That's the only thing for sure I know about it. But as long as the community users of bitcoin continuously patronizing it,
bitcoin will continuously in progress.

There are many times that people make bitcoin died. There were lots of articles who totally posting that bitcoin is dead or will die but then supporters do not compromise to rumors around.

I think not just many times, most of the time and everytime the news about fork and stuff are circling around. We can't blame them if they can't take the volatility of bitcoin, and it is really needed to be developed, we must come to solutions that will improve bitcoin. If bitcoin will die, I think it will just be revived in an instant.

As an experiment bakit hindi ka magtanong sa mga IT, IS, IM, Computer Engineer and other computer related courses kung alam nila ang bitcoin, most of them sasagot ng hindi. Kase hindi porket computer related ang course ko, mapapadali na ito, kase ang bitcoin naman more on economy and currency, hindi lang codes and computer. Everyone can use bitcoin, obviously, everyone can understand it.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 21, 2017, 01:02:42 PM
On my mind, Bitcoin as a source of future income.
I think it's better to learn more information about it, neatly invest small amounts that in the future receive exactly a good income Roll Eyes

Bitcoin gives us extra income whenever the price pumps or increase, the money we invested increase too. It us not that I do not earn some profit here, but for me, it is not a good source of income, yes it gives income, but it is not that much to support someone especially when you are supporting a family. Trading and investing in bitcoin is a good extra income, but not as a main source.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: June 21, 2017, 10:54:21 AM
I think trading and gambling are different but they have similarities like Trading and gambling are both attempt to create a capital gain, over a relatively short period of time, without creating new wealth. Trading and gambling are both fundamentally stochastic, that is unpredictable, and because of this they are often viewed negatively. In trading we need to planned, analyze what are doing compared to gambling
It is done in a different way but the main intention to do it is to make money from your money,
both are risking because you need to gamble for the outcome but it's not gambling by definition.

Trading is gambling, we all know that, we are risking our money to gain profit. In gambling we bet to hope for a good profit, though, we usually lose than we win, it requires a huge luck. In trading we stake our money for a good profit, these two has something in common, that is the risk to earn money. Though in trading, you must have skills and knowledge, without it, you are risking your money into something without profit.
560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell Bitcoin ahead of 1st Aug Hard Fork on: June 21, 2017, 09:48:17 AM
Thanks all

The price is now pretty much what I sold at a few weeks ago - do you think I should buy all back in that case?

I think that is great that you have reassured your profit. If you want to invest your money to bitcoin again, I think you need to wait after the fork or network splitting. There is a huge possibility that the price of bitcoin will dump back to $1000. But after that it is obvious that it will pump back to $2000 and may break the $3000 price wall. Wait for a good price to buy bitcoin again.
