541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: HPPCOIN : Egalitarian High Performance Computing Platform on: March 24, 2018, 09:21:15 PM
Is there any exchange other than stocks.exchange? Why is the volume so low? There's just 13199.55 hpp coin on the sell order.

Unfortunately, there is only stocks.exchange for now. I am sure you would find a counterparty (p2p trade) if you posted your bid or ask in HPP Discord channel. The main reason for low volume of sell orders is a lot of masternodes which everyone wants to hold, not sell.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Addresses Added to USA Sanctions List on: March 23, 2018, 08:54:47 PM
I wonder how are they going to execute such sanctions on crypto addresses. They would have to know the original "sanctioned" transaction to effectively prevent a receiver from using the address. Otherwise, "bad guys" will just change a cryptocurrency or, more simple, generate a new address.  Huh
543  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Marketplace straight Payment With Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2018, 03:15:36 PM
It is suprising that OpenBazaar has not been named by any of fellow users.  Smiley  Openbazaar is a decentralized marketplace which now supports not only Bitcoin payments but the whole range of more than 50 cryptocurrencies. And I have good experience with OB!
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Twitter actually going to ban off Crypto in their Ads? on: March 22, 2018, 05:58:59 PM
It is a logical step in this phase of cryptocurrency adoption. We all have observed significant ICO scams that could have brought negative sentiment against advertisement platforms e.g. Facebook and Twitter. It also means in my opinion that working "crypto products" are welcomed to be advertised there!
545  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Giving away my Korbit/Bithumb/Coinone profit method. Easy Margins. Arbitrage on: March 22, 2018, 05:27:30 PM
Still got spots left, let me know if you're interested Roll Eyes

Well, I admit I am suprised that you are giving it away just like that  Wink  I would like to try your method.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [LYM] Lympo - Monetizing sports and health data via blockchain on: March 22, 2018, 10:10:03 AM
This is huge! Lympo is first of its kind with such a brave move to distribute part of the company to the community. Wink

One question - is IPO going to be open to every investor or only LYM token holders? It doesn't seem clear to me from the first announcement.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ALQO] PoW/PoS 0,17% Premine | ZeroCoin Protocol | 1-Second-TX | Governance on: March 22, 2018, 10:02:12 AM
The voting system will be integrated into the liberio framework hence you should be able to see the actual votings by opening the wallet. We will see within the next 2 weeks how it will work. I guess once the Liberio wallet is out I'll try to make some explainatory videos about that as well if the team does not come up with it.

For all other news I guess having a occasional look into the official subreddit should keep you in the loop.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Alqo/new/

We try to keep it up to date as good as possible.
Finally, we have voting system for ALQO, but my question is how about weight of each vote. By which I mean if I have more coins or own a masternodes, will I have more powerful votes. We need a voting system which as equally as possible and it should be hard to manipulate the voting results.

It is pretty clear to me from ongoing votes - one XLQ = one vote, with decimals enabled. This is fair for all XLQ holders. By the way, the explanatory video of 3-arm libra effect is great! Looking forward to Bitfineon and all positive changes!
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIERION [TNT]Token Sale Starts on 27 July on: March 22, 2018, 09:55:26 AM
Tierion Community Announcement: Vote for TNT to be listed on CryptalDash.com Exchange.

Tierion has been featured in the New Coin Listing Competition, this is your chance to grow the market cap and liquidity pool of Tierion.

Support your coin by voting now, voting ends in 10 days.(Tierion is currently in last place with 0 votes)

https://www.cryptaldash.com/new-coin-listing

Useful info, Tierion still holds the respectable last place in voting  Grin  It might be helpful to announce such votings at least in TNT subreddit because some of us are sick and tired about telegram (generally telegram way of communication, not only Tierion's)
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Delisted coins on Bittrex on: March 18, 2018, 11:37:20 AM
On that date Bittrex will remove around 80 coins and their wallets. Make sure you withdraw those coins. Don't forget about our "easy money delisting strategy" on bittrex as well for them! . The coins marked with an asterisk (*) have broken blockchains or wallets that will not allow withdrawals. In those cases, the inability to withdraw your balance is not due to the Bittrex Exchange platform, but is caused by a problem with the underlying blockchain or wallet associated with that coin.

That's quite massive spring cleanup  Grin  I have always been a bit embarrassed about Bittrex listing policy. There used to accept a lot of shitcoins which wasn't beneficial for clients.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most crypto millionaires forgot that they had crypto! on: March 18, 2018, 11:28:22 AM
Some pieces of wisdom from Jesse Livermore. I think that simple hodling is a great strategy to accumulate wealth unless you have not other strategy (regular dividends from your capital etc.). On the other hand, experienced full time trader with consistent approach to the market can earn even more than hodler.

For majority of us - buy cheap and sell when you see news headlines about the coin.  Cool
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thinning the herd, strengthening whats left. on: March 18, 2018, 10:58:27 AM

Thumbs up for follow-up. You have made some radical thinning there, it is very bold move. I hope CS will perform well. Btw. what made you to invest in CS?

Thanks )

As for "why CS" - well, they claim some very fascinating things (for instance the whole telegram channel is now holding breath for video proof of 300000 transactions per second on their alpha version. Video should come out today).  Team seems to deliver. Lots of real work that doesn't appear to be a scam. Two advisors from IBM, one of them is director of IBM blockchain lab (Nitin Gaur). Recent appearance on blockchain conference in China, where they presented CS (and also they were a bronze sponsor).
So it's WAY to complicated for a scam, I'm assured it's real deal. My only concern that if they don't deliver what's promised, but that's the valid concern for any other project.

So all in all my faith in CS was growing since my first glance at them.

Another reason is.. well, "all or nothing". Having $100 here, $300 there is kinda meh, eve if it's in 40-50 projects. It just gets unmanageable, and if something is mooning it's way too easy to miss, and gains are not that big. Sure it's nice to make $10k off $100 (DCN, for instance, although I was too hesitant to sell all at peak), bit million from 10k is way better )
I believe CS has great poential. If team delivers it can easily replace NEO, wipe out EOS and ADA, and even threaten ETH.

And if it fails - well, i still will have couple of asics, some ICO tokens that are not trading yet, and will learn pretty bitter lesson Smiley

I see. It is obvious that CS is far from being scam. The rhetorical question is if CS can rise more than other large marketcap coins so you can outperform the whole crypto market .. Good luck  Wink
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thinning the herd, strengthening whats left. on: March 17, 2018, 10:21:10 PM
welp, did some thinning. 99.99% in Credits (CS) now.

Some trace amounts of DGB and SC (from ongoing mining, being converted to CS as well)

Thumbs up for follow-up. You have made some radical thinning there, it is very bold move. I hope CS will perform well. Btw. what made you to invest in CS?
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] redBUX: Blockchain based payment for the adult entertainment industy on: March 17, 2018, 10:13:40 PM
I use such services and it is interesting to me that the developer did marketing research, how much is this platform in demand?

It's in demand because many people loves to watch porn and there are many people who are subscribing to adult entertainment industry. It's a great and well planned project for adult entertainment industry.
Yes, absolutely this kind of project is very catchy. That's the reason so many, investors attracted towards the project. Especially the youth or young investors looking forward to investing in this project. The project easily gets so many investors due to their idea. And the project is rapidly growing.

I hope so they well able to have more supporters on this project. As I'm part on their telegram, I appreciate the dev which you can easily access the possible updates on this project.
Yes, and as we expect RedBux will listing at any top 10 exchanges. Do they have a clearly plan for make listing?

That's a great idea and recommendation for this project. I hope that the team RedBux have a plan just like that. And if that happen thay RedBux have been listed in any of the top 10 exchanges a lot more people will come engage and attract to this blockchain based payment for the adult entertainment industry.

Every project that joins a listing in exchanges experiences growth in their token value depending on how the project team handle it. There should be some anticipations and assumptions to be made if their token will be enlisted as such.

I personally would not worry about listing redbux on major exchanges. Token distribution is well planned, and there is certainly "a budget" for listings. Moreover, top tier exchanges want to list successful projects (and successful ICO would be a great first step) because it brings them volume.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [LYM] Lympo - Monetizing sports and health data via blockchain on: March 17, 2018, 09:44:28 PM
All these changes in price are happening while LYM is still on smaller exchanges. I have them for long term based so these increases and decreases are not going to impress me until I see them reaching at my targeted price in few months time. Market will come out of bearish sentiment after all and that time will reward for patience.

Exactly, I intend to hold Lympo at least until it gets to top100 market cap coins and I also hope to ride the wave of another bull trend. With all this great news from the team, the price will increase significantly after hitting top tier exchanges.
555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Straight HODL vs Trading on: March 16, 2018, 11:43:30 AM
I have been usually describing myself as a trader since I entered the cryptomarket. Although I hodl some coins I deeply believe in, I buy coins for 2 - 6 months periods. The biggest pain for shorter time frames are untrustworthy exchanges. The risk of crypto exchange failure / scam is so high that it strongly influences your potential trading account.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is behind this downtrend we see right now ? on: March 16, 2018, 10:10:51 AM
I see many of you saying that the crypto whales are behind this downtrend that we see now. But if this is true why do they push it so far ? Not even the whales will meke money in this market. And if pushing it to far the whole crypto market might collapse. Than no one will make money anymore. Know media and all the fud out there have a huge impact on the market to.

One reason may be the ghost from Mt. Gox selling their huge Bitcoin supply (this information was somehow confirmed). Another reason is generally a "bear mood" related to increasing regulation effort of governments and some negative news from different corners of the world.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it 1994 in cryptocurrency? on: March 16, 2018, 07:43:21 AM
Interesting article. As some analysts suggest (and I agree), time in crypto world runs quicker compared to stocks or other conventional means of investment. It is often presumed that 1 year in crypto equals 4 to 6 years in stock market. Therefore, I think we will see google or facebook of crypto much sooner than in 10 years.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why i love my Altcoins Bounty Journey!!! on: March 16, 2018, 07:36:01 AM
Hi Bitcointalk members, its been a year that i started my bounty and airdrops journey, and i find it very blessed for me, i started last year with Minexcoin, though it was my first time. Now minexcoin has been performing well, and i never sell my coins, so from that experience i started other coins and tokens to work on..Now every week i received a lots of tokens in my wallet, and its worth it because slowly by slowly it appears the value of the coin and im so happy with it.

Thanks to Bitcointalk for the knowledge that i get, you inspired me to work on this.,and also to the members who shared their valuable knowledge in this industry.

Im so thankful to you guys, you made my journey very meaningful.

It is great that you stick to coins from bounty and do not sell them. Plenty of people underestimate the time factor in these easily received coins and tokens. The later you sell them, the better your time was paid.

Keep on in bounties  Wink
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIERION [TNT]Token Sale Starts on 27 July on: March 16, 2018, 07:17:19 AM
Another new business partnership - Ultimus integrates Tierion for Blockchain Digital Process Automation

Ultimus has integrated with Tierion to create proof of business processes in banking, healthcare, law, medical technology, government, compliance, and other industries.

Source: https://medium.com/tierion/ultimus-integrates-tierion-for-blockchain-digital-process-automation-f8331d76216a

Some pretty big clients working with Ultimus across a broad range of industries. I see Charles Schwab, Pfizer, AIG, Nissan, Perdue Farms, and DHL to name a few (http://www.ultimus.com/Clients). Not sure what this does for the demand of TNT specifically, but new use cases with reputable companies gives a promising outlook.

Well, I am also not convinced about impact on demand side of the market. I would say it is rather beneficial for company's development and stability. There are not many well nested companies among cryptocurrency projects. It should raise confidence in the coin itself.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stability ripple on: March 15, 2018, 07:35:16 AM
For the last 24 hours the rate of crypto currency Ripple fell to $ 0.81 per coin. Recall that in just a few weeks of crypto currency, Ripple lost half of its December value. Today, the Ripple rate is fixed at around 1 dollar, which means that the goal has been achieved. It stabilized at this point. According to analysts' forecast, the drop in the rate of the Ripple below the $ 0.7 mark for a coin by the end of 2018 is unlikely, since the currency is stable and is constantly supported by large investors.

I can not agree, general bear trend can drag Ripple even below $0.5. Looking at the chart, the next significant support level lies around $0.28. And don't forget about negative fundamentals of Ripple (centralizatiion, supply manipulation, etc. .. largely discussed in this forum).
