Puts the total mcap at just $10m. Very nice figure and an absolute steal for what the product has set out to accomplish. Can't wait to see which exchange the offer goes live on. Also found the token allocation on the site: https://mesg.com/token/Total token supply: 250MM Sale Distribution: 62.5% Reserve: 20% Team and Founders: 12.5% Partners: 5% what about the price of MESG tokens and the time of the Token Sale? I have not found information about it, I hope the team will update it immediately. because in my opinion it is important information for potential investors Got the token price off their telegram channel: "The token price is $0.40"

There's already a famous token by this name "Tzero" made by the over stock company. Looks to be a copycat trying to confuse unwitting miners between the two.
we are not imitators and were not going to confuse There's no confusion between the two, however, the similarity in name may result in confusion. Why "T"? Why not Hzero? nZero, X, C, or any other alphabet. Why pick on T when T is already in use? You had the whole dictionary at your disposal...

Thanks for the update - especially the mainnet release time frame and total supply, looks like I've got my crypto of the year earmarked for me. Feels great to be getting on the ground floor of the next development for once, rather than playing catch-up

Link to WP doesn't work. Can't find any literature on the site to better gauge the project. Also, roadmap doesn't have delivery timeline. Don't know which phase is when, which has happened, and which is going to happen.

testnet3 What is new? 1. Leer works much faster (up to 6x times) 2. Unexpected node halts are safe now 3. Scripts are implemented (allows bitcoin-style smartcontracts to be developed) 4. Proofs of transactions are implemented: now you always can prove (in SPV mode too) that you have paid to somebody even when payee has already spent money. Note that both start_script.py and miner_script.py should be updated for testnet3. Take into account INSERT_LOGIN_HERE and INSERT_PASSWORD_HERE keywords. They should be substituted with login and password which are required for webwallet. https://pypi.org/project/leer/0.0.8/Any ETA on WP and site? Been keeping an eye on this thread for a while waiting for WP announcement to sink teeth into, but no dice yet. Would love to get to know the project more. This dev update just makes me hunger for more

rip nullex
Nah, not rip. Trystan claims he's gonna continue the Nullex brand, while Eric and co are gonna create a crypto that NLX holders can swap for and more inline with the Nullex spirit. Question for most is choosing between brand name or spiritual successor. No point getting stuck in the past for me

dont buy this coin buy the real trx not the scam.
Someone just minted an ERC20 and named it Tron and added classic to it for an instant money making scam. However @hanspeter, have you closely looked into the team behind the signature you're wearing? Have you seen their capabilities/body of work? Of course not. They are non-existent. Just like this scam

Thanks for taking the time to put down your thought and methodology behind the coin development. However, it still does not address the "useless" features you previously alluded to. I was expecting something like a critical analysis of features like coinjoin, ring signature, tor relays or similar features used by privacy crypto, their shortcoming and how your tech remedies that. However, what you came up with is a defence for the mining algo.
Ring signatures are present in any coin on the Cryptonote Protocol and I have nothing to add, except that in my coin the minimum value is very high (14 mixin), the maximum is 250. The coin can be used for payments on sites in the TOR network, as it is completely confidential, without the ability to trace the volume and direction of transactions. Connections to other hosts can also be passed through the TOR network for greater privacy. In the case of such measures and the highest degree of mixin, the ability to trace the transaction, even listening to traffic, is practically absent. Thanks for the explanation, but I'm confused. So, since you have nothing to add other than dialing up the mixin, that means you also retained the "useless" features that those other coins have - if we eliminate the mining algo? Looks like the hunt continues then...

Hello, project looks very interesting so i check few detailed information. I have not read the whole whitepaper yet, so maybe I missed something, but I could not find anywhere information about the price of the token, softcap and hardcap? Can I get this information in this thread? Thank you.
Whitepaper hasn't been released yet and so is tokenomics. Doubt there will be any caps - soft or hard. Team says it's a self-funded project. best case scenario, what we might be getting is an IEC - Initial Exchange Offering, for those not acquiring the token via either bounty or developing modules

So total supply is 184B and premine is only 5M?
B or M? Team says they're gonna be having the same supply as BBR and BBR total supply is just 18.4M. Think you meant M not B. 184B is way too much IMHO - 1:1 swap with that amount just wouldn't add up You cant have same max supply if you exchange 1:1. Then there is no coins left for mining and securing the network. Guess that's the tail emission the dev spoke about. Also, not the entire BBR supply is in circulation. Add lost wallets and we could have about 8M from the total supply left. Tail emission could up boost the numbers up

The team has been taking massive action towards the project's development to complete its development. And very soon they will make the announcement about the development of the project.
They announced the first crypto that will be listed on the platform already - must confess, I didn't see this one coming: https://medium.com/@BQT/our-first-listed-token-is-bb733e716824Also, the team seems to be hinting at more intrinsic value for holding BQT rather than just fees and collateral

Guess the requirements for stacking - the amount to lock away - will be released closer towards the release of MESG mainnet in Q1 2020, right? Have you worked out the tokenomics, especially the circulating and total supply?

idk man, if trystan came on here, reconciled with the team and figured a way forward while keeping eric on (maybe not as media manager, but perhaps gave him some help or hired another person), don't you think the project would be far more successful compared to splitting the coin?
Don't see reconciliation happening tbh. Eric's showed his level-headedness and ability to handle private and public affairs without crossing wires. Trystan is the one sending d**k pics about. When a d**k pic and posting about how you own the team fund and passwords to social media accounts is your strongest response, it's time to start looking into what the other side is offering

No traditional WP/LP/Yellow paper to go through. Interested in seeing a technical comparison of your technology vs competitors, especially Chainlink - their shortcomings and how you'll be addressing these problems through your development. Only documentation I can see is the installation guide We will update more about are WP so soon. If you'll get through on our ANN page here you'll see the competitions with other brands as well as the competitive advantage of MESG. Hope that clarifies you. By the way please fix your signature as it is not aligned to center. Thanks! Do you have bounty thread?
Please visit our bounty thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5092162.0Looking forward to the WP. Can't wait to read up on the competitive advantages. Been trying to share the word out, but there's no literature for folks to sink their teeth into - or slack their thirst through a lightpaper We will provide more news soon, just stay tune here and on our official telegram group. By the way, thanks for bringing awareness with our project by joining our signature campaign here in the forum, we really appreciate it. Thanks for accepting me too. I'm always on the lookout for projects that do have something to deliver other than slapping the "decentralized/blockchain" label on their forehead. The pedigree and the experience of the team behind the project struck me as not only being capable of delivering, but also aware of the challenges involved. The team's acknowledgement of industry competitors further buttress that Thanks for always believing with us @Bowtiesarecool, we aren't doing any ICO nor collecting any funds to the public and this is purely a self-funded project. Challenges make us great and that's keep us going and MESG believe in that. No ICO? No public crowdfunding? Purely self-funded 100%? You've got my attention now! So, how do folks get the token? Buy straight from exchanges or? this literally changes everything - in a pleasant way

I think there is quite a bit of time left before the developer announces, otherwise we should not support it at all.
Time left to announce what exactly? The team are always available on telegram to answer any and all inquiries. Also, the closed beta of the platform has been out for some months now. Signups are still being accepted here: http://www.bqtexchange.com/register

I hope everything goes transparent. Judging by the concept of the project deserves attention. So you should follow the news from the developers. Perhaps this coin will fly to the moon.
Based on what? There is no wallet, no open source code, no info about the team, people get blocked on telegram without reason, socials are all self-made posts saying we are the best.... There is no info on how to get the ETCV tokens... admins on telegram are implying we should give ETH private keys to get ETCV tokens... Shocking that a fork of ETC is yet to address the 51% reorg attack on ETC blockchain to alleviate worries of susceptibility and vulnerability to similar attacks. This project continues to raise so many red flags, yet, the community continues to fall in over its head for "free" coins. https://www.coindesk.com/coinbase-suspends-ethereum-classic-after-blockchain-history-rewritesthere are risks, yes, I even heard about how the wallets were broken, maybe people left their keys somewhere, but I think there shouldn't be any shoals here, the team will take care of security The team will take care of security? You jest sir? Which developer will claim that they will not be taking care of security too? ETC definitely claimed that they've got security down to a pat and look where that got everybody. I'm not looking for leap of faith here - can take those with exchanges - wanna know if this fork is not going to inherit the flaws of its parents too
