5501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: June 05, 2018, 11:04:11 PM
I had invested one ICO previously, it failed although I didn't contribute a huge amount on it. A news yesterday made analysis on blockchain ICO projects, mentioning 92% of these ICO projects are failed.. Should I stop investing the others or any really potential ICO suggest?
ICO depends totally on luck and the project you choose. You clearly stated that  "92%" of ICO failed which is actually a quite high number. This means only 8% of the ICOs are successful. So this means that you have a very high chance of not making a profit when you choose to invest on ICO. You are better off investing on other crypto currencies like bitcoin or ethereum. They have better chances of giving you profit with less risk compared to ICOs.
5502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin should I invest in? on: June 02, 2018, 03:03:49 PM
Best not to take peoples advice from here when looking for a coin to invest. People will tend to be biased and will always suggest you coins that they have invested on. Better to do your own research. Look for coins that you think has potential but is undervalued. Or just invest on the current top trending coins like bitcoin, ethereum or litecoin. Those are some coins that will eventually give you some profit if you hold it for a long term.
5503  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: June 02, 2018, 03:01:06 PM
If you are walking on the road and enjoying a nice day at the nearby park it's all because someone paid their taxes.
Taxes helps a lot , I have seen people frowning over about how they don't want to pay any taxes and as such.
Government ensures that if you earn over a certain amount then for sure you can contribute in the making of your country. It's only if you are able to.
Taxes helps in :

Paying the salary of government employees
    Making of roads
    Public schools
    Parks run by the government
    Maintenance fees
    Making government hospitals
Making high schools ... The list is endless

We all use all these services at one part of the life or other therefore we can just consider it a little payment for that .
People frown how government is corrupt , it is but not entirely if it was then you woont see new projects coming up in your town or city.

It's just our responsibility to pay taxes, we shouldn't run from it because it will more or so be used for everyone out there in your country , you are indirectly helping others too through paying them , the less advantageous ones.

Also one might say government can print all the money they need , but that's not the case ..the more money a government prints the lower the value of their currency gets which genrally have adverse effects in many sectors.
I beg to differ though. The government is greedy and we all know that. Even after your death, the tax will haunt you (inheritance tax, estate tax and what not). Tax is more like a forced contribution to the government and people even if they don't use their services are forced to pay the tax (for example someone opts in to study in private school instead of public school or does not take social benefits but will still have to pay taxes). I am not saying tax is a bad thing, but the government should redefine how the taxes are collected.
5504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bear market end or not? on: June 02, 2018, 11:54:57 AM
I heard people saying june will mark the end of bear market in 2018 what is your take on this, what makes you think bear market will end this month.
If you look at charts from previous years, you will notice same similar patterns taking place each year. The year always starts with a huge dip and a slow recovery. We then see a small stability in price. During mid years, we see the price slowly rising and it is during the end of the year the price starts to skyrocket. Assuming the trend will be followed once again, we can expect the price to start rising from now.
5505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why you should take bounty campaign seriously on: June 02, 2018, 11:52:48 AM
This discussion is not to generalize the idea of taking bounty serious by everyone but for those that need to.

I see lots of people who say I can't do only bounty campaign as a full term work, of course no one should do that if you have lots of other alternatives, but if you don't, it will do well to utilize the available time and make as much profit as you can make from bounty campaign doing it as it is your only employed job until you can even raise cash to start your own business, because some of the organizations we even aim to work don't even pay you like bounty campaign and other times we get employed to do similar works just like what you do while running bounty campaign.

Feel free to share your opinion too
You should never even think of just joining bounty campaigns to earn your living. First of all the rewards are are not big enough to cover your monthly expenses (unless you live on a under developed country). Secondly, joining the forum campaign just to earn makes the forum filled with spam. You will see people unintentionally end up spamming the forum. Just keep in mind that the earning from campaign is just a spare change for you to have a coffee after a day long work.
5506  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current status of the crypto market on: June 01, 2018, 05:28:39 PM
We have witnessed a significant collapse in the cryptocurrency market and it shows some signs of getting recovered at the moment. Do you think that it will get stabilized somewhere around the current position or will it grow back to the full potential it has shown a few months back or even more?
The ups and downs of the price of bitcoin is normal. We have seen this numerous time and now we take it quite naturally. Just look at the history and the charts. The prices were always down during the starting of the year and starts to go up during mid year and skyrockets at the end.
Its really sad that people are comparing the potential of a coin with its price. The potential and value of the coin is not related at all!
5507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN MASS ADOPTION? on: June 01, 2018, 04:51:52 PM
I love Bitcoin and the ambition of a revolution from the banks BUT...

Does anyone think that one thing stopping it from mass adoption is the satoshi value?

If I was to buy a coffee it would be B0.00067
People would much just prefer to see $5

What do you think?
Yeah, for this reason we express decimals in satoshi. 1satoshi = 0.00000001 btc. So 0.00067 btc would be  67,000 satoshi. So "your coffee costs 67k satoshi".  Sounds better right? Now if the value sounds too high, you will get used to it slowly. Think about the Vietnamese people. 1 USD is around 21577 vietnamese dong. So their coffee costs around 30,000 vnd.
5508  Economy / Speculation / Re: The June is coming and the market will boom up from that on: June 01, 2018, 04:19:05 PM
Hello everyone
You all are worried about the price of bitcoin that why it is not increasing in value and you forgot the previous two years. In the previous two years we saw a situation that from the month of January to May the price was near to stability stable and with slow move and then after the month of June the price started to increase and it doubled up much faster and multiplied many times. It is sure that we saw a situation in the previous two years then we will also see it in this year. So get ready as the train will start within a few days.
It is true that we can see the same pattern/cycle of the price of bitcoin each year. Though we should keep in mind that the prices are unpredictable and they do not always follow the typical market law. So one should not invest merely based on these histories. Would become riskier. Though taking that risk might give you huge profit. Just hope that the same cycle is followed again.
5509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are people losing faith in ICO's? on: June 01, 2018, 11:23:42 AM
Why are ICO's coming under pressure?
The amount of scams going on through ICOs are increasing day by day. Look how many new ICOs emerges each day and how they are failing to provide what they promise or they just run away with investors money with no shame. Naive people falls for it and invests on those scammy ICOs. This encourages more ICOs to scam people.
5510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you think alt coins can merge to only one coin? on: June 01, 2018, 11:19:11 AM
All over the wold today they are discussion on blockchain technology. Can someone tell me if someday top economy or world power may consider bringing only one coin?
Nope. All alt coins cannot be merged into one coin. Each coins have their unique features for which they are different from each other. Merging them would just cause disaster and nothing else. Like if ripple also gets merged, the coins will end up being more centralized.
It is true that a time might come when only one coin is considered superior and people will be only using that coin.
5511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trading without capital on: May 31, 2018, 10:23:23 PM
Honestly it is not actually possible unless you earn something. Trying joining signature campaigns or bounty programs. The bounty programs have various tasks and by completing those you will be rewarded with tokens that can be sold on different exchanges which supports that token. But even though the amount of reward is small, so  you won't be making much profit by trading those tokens.
5512  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: May 31, 2018, 09:36:41 PM
Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

I don't understand, why would your boss be mad at you for learning something new? I am assuming you were probably getting distracted during your work hours. Since your boss knows that you are crypto obsessed, why don't you take this opportunity to let your boss know the potential about the crypto currencies?
Anyways,  you shouldn't risk your real life job, since the profits you will be getting from crypto currencies isn't stable and you will be risking yourself financially.
5513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Atomic cross chain trading on: May 31, 2018, 09:29:29 PM
What is atomic cross chain trading or atomic swaps exactly and what problem it has ?
Atomic cross chain trading is like trading between coins which are different but without using a third party source such as an exchange. Here direct peer to peer transactions take place which is actually better than using an exchange. The only problem is finding a suitable person to exchange your desired coin.
5514  Economy / Speculation / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin "again" ??? on: May 31, 2018, 08:01:44 PM
After a few weeks of downtrend, is this a good time to add investment to bitcoin?

It's right on the dip, or still There will be a second, third or even worse dip?

Give your opinion on this.
Thanks
Its never a bad time to invest on bitcoin. But investing on some specific period will give you the maximum profit. As soon as you see the price dipping/taking a fall, start investing. The more the price is going down, the more you should be investing as long as you don't see another rise. Why wait for "second" or "third" dip, instead of starting to invest on the first dip to ensure you make at least something.
5515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Centralized and Decentralized on: May 30, 2018, 09:41:17 PM
In crypto currency field, I prefer a centralised than decentralised when it comes to using an exchange so I can get with customer support when something goes bad.
Not sure if you were drunk while writing this or you are here just to spam the forum. Why would you want crypto currencies to be centralized. Decentralization is one of the most important feature for crypto currencies. Cryptos were actually first made so that people can have control over their own coins with no third party involved. If you are fond of centralized currency, then just use fiat and the traditional banking system. Crypto currencies would be pointless to you.
5516  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should know a new investor in this market? on: May 30, 2018, 09:36:47 PM
I am a new and small investor, so i want to know the fundamental and most important issue of the market. Please someone give a easy guideline.
First of all you will need to learn how the market works. It does not follow the traditional economic laws. So keep that in mind while investing. Second, the risk is high when investing on crypto  currencies since the price are not stable. If you invest on the wrong time (such as during the peak point of price rise), you will end up suffering huge loss. So think twice before investing. Finally, you will need to analyze different coins and filter out coins are valueless and coins which have huge potential. Shit coins will always give you negative profit.
5517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why Bitcoins is the safest system on: May 30, 2018, 06:20:51 PM
I believe that the control is decentralized and hence there are many people to keep watch on the entire system, unlike centralized authorities where few people have the responsibility to supervise the entire system and thus there is a possibility of the corruption in the centralized systems. Bitcoin and other blockchain based projects eliminate such possibility by giving control to the entire user base.
You can't use the word "control" when talking about decentralized system. In decentralized system, no one controls the network. What you are confusing between is the "distributed" system and "decentralized" system. In "distributed" system, there is a control of group of people. But that is not the case with "decentralized" system. This decentralized system has various types based on how they are controlled. Check this article here . Will help you understand what i am trying to say.
5518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why Bitcoins is the safest system on: May 29, 2018, 09:52:39 PM
Hey everyone I have heard newbies and other people asking about how safe is the Bitcoins and it's transactions well I think it will be beneficial to have a little discussion on this .

First of all if you own a bank account in a good bank then you should know that its very hard to hack one's bank account, it's almost impossible unless done due to personal flaws, like sharing your key or bank account details or something , you know the system behind Bitcoins and the system behind banking system is same .
Something by the name of cryptography whose Advance form is block chain . It's a complex code involving complex mathematics and the transactions are only completed through very complex and complicated steps impossible to penetrate.
For Bitcoins the same thing operates but with no intervening part or whatsoever , it's p2p direct transactions and this is even more secure and private.

The reason why you hear news like :- someone got their Bitcoins stolen or something is because they have personal flaws , they shared the private keys or the password with someone else..or they used a bad wallet.

It's on you how safe you make it .
There is no way you can compare banking and bitcoin together. They are totally different. One of them is centralized and the other is decentralized. In bitcoin, you are the sole owner of your own coins, which is not the case with fiat. And you also store it on your own wallet,
but while banking you store and give your money to someone else (financial institution).
Just sharing keys or using a bad wallet isn't the cause of losing bitcoin. You should make your your computer is free from any kind of infection.
5519  Economy / Speculation / Re: Someone pumped the price of BTC Today: approx 250 USD on: May 29, 2018, 07:53:48 PM
This pump took the ALTS into the green!
They did it when the RSI hit 30 and created a perfect storm to support the market to go up!
I believe these guys are banking on the market going up and then they will SELL pulling the rug from under our feet.
I believe these are the same guys that started the momentum to the 10,000 USD and then realized it couldn’t be broken and then started to dump causing BTC to go down to 7K. These guys are up to the same game again!
I smell Soros: This is his style!
The price is up by only 3.2%. I wouldn't call that a pump. Just a normal thing that we see everyday. Wait till the price goes up like 15-25% within short period of time. Then we can say that a pump might have happened. I do agree with your second statement though. They started to dump the coins as soon as they realized that the wall could not be broken anytime soon.
5520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are still buying Bitcoin? on: May 29, 2018, 06:36:01 PM
If people buy Bitcoin at $8,000, they will get 100% profit only when Bitcoin reaches $16,000. If it takes 5 years to reach $16,000, people will earn more money from Gold and Silver than from Bitcoin. Silver is giving 20% to 35% profit in one year.

Mining cost of one Bitcoin is $5,000 or more. When Bitcoin was $400 or $800 it was understandable because people had to just spend $400 or $800 to get one Bitcoin and $1,200 is super high profits when Bitcoin started from $1.
You can still invest $400 and $800 on bitcoin to by fractions of it. You will still get the same profit you would have gotten before. If you still want to buy whole coin other than fractions of bitcoin, invest on other undervalued cheap coins. You can't transact Gold or Silver from one part of the world to another, can you? Can you buy online stuffs with gold/silver?
