well guys, Ken invited me to come down to meet him so I'll be heading there this week.  If there's any questions anybody wants to ask him let me know

Product pics, chip specs, and mining screenshots please Smiley

Can we see some pictures of the gear that was shipped?  Would also be good to hear feedback from these customers.

I mean if Ken has got a chip actually working that's great news and even if they're slower, knowing that this Gen1 version is hashing would be a big relief for me.

The VMC website needs updating, when I called the sales number I was told shipping would start late December, not November.  Also the price seems to have gone up in the last few days.
564  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The People VS. Ukyo (AKA WeExchange 2nd Stage Scam)! Currently ~$500,000 on: November 22, 2013, 10:08:25 PM
When I was researching the market a few months back it seemed Graet is the main guy behind Weexchange, while Ukyo was running BitFunder.  Now it seems the roles are a bit intertwined with Ukyo fixing the Weex server issues, but Graeme Tee may also have control over the wallet or systems.  Anyone else know more?

Yes, I do know those 2 (out of 4) were mentionned by TF as a reason not to refund everyone 100%.

Please elaborate, is the inputs.io hack related to this?

Information we obtained, We now have digital copies of the company's documents. We have the legal name and personal information of Ukyo and Graet (Graet is kinda known to begin with Smiley ). Yet we don't know how to use such information to pursue the retrieval of our money.

any suggestions? I will ask my source if I am allowed to post the info here.

Can you explain how Graet is involved?  Pardon my ignorance.

So this means dividends will be paid out after the 28th?
567  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 08:55:40 PM
When will the dividends get paid? it's been ages since the last one.
568  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] G.ASICMINER-PT on: November 13, 2013, 05:36:47 AM
I just want to be clear, once BitFunder shuts down any ASICMINER shares will turn into direct shares, directly under the control of Friedcat is that correct?

Have had an outgoing transaction stuck under reserves for more than five days, for something that used to work well this is taking an awful long time to fix.

I thought http://kingworldnews.com/kingworldnews/Broadcast/Broadcast.html  was low tech when it first came out only to find that "hi-tech" ASIC news websites can't even put up a static page and hold it together.  How hard is it to put up a link to a MP3 file with the interview??  By the time the grand site relaunch happens the news will likely be out of date.

Here's the latest figures, now running a 20Mhz crystal on ICA 7 which is stable at 406.2 MHash with ASIC powered externally with 1.7V @ 3.96A. ICA 6 is the stock reference running at 333MHash.

I've bought a few crystals and heatsinks too many so if anyone wants me to upgrade their units to either 16 or 20 mhz speeds I'd be happy to do it.

2 day maximum working turnaround and high quality soldering done with an SMD rework station with all components, heatsinks and external power supplies (if necessary) included.  Please PM me if interested.
574  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB - Overclocking/ hacking ? on: August 14, 2013, 06:51:13 AM
Got some measuring gear permanently hooked up and 15A external adjustable power supplies for the 5V rail and the 1.1+ V rail.

For reference the 16Mhz eBay crystal is running at an average of 364MHash/s with the ASIC driven at 1.1V, consuming 0.51A and a top side temperature of 52.9 deg C.  The bottom PCB soldermask hasn't been removed and it's screwed to a big finned heat sink with the stock heat transfer layer in place.  It's been running well for several days and has had 3 HW errors in the 1.5 hours since I restarted BFGminer.

New crystals from Digikey should be here Friday, so will post some updated values then.

When would eASIC do a press release like this for ActM/VMC - after the NRE is fully paid?

Here is where I got my current 16Mhz crystals: http://www.ebay.com/itm/130853541733?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
577  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB - Overclocking/ hacking ? on: August 13, 2013, 10:42:52 AM

Hi, the correct size is 5032 - http://www.ebay.es/itm/10-PCS-16-000MHz-SMD-4-Pin-5032-16MHZ-16-000M-16M-Crystal-/121153438140?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c354ec1bc&_uhb=1

however the pins on these are not quite in the right place, these are right at the edge while the stock ones are in from the edge by about 1 mm.

I'm using 1.5K (in an 0805 package) as R1, and the 16Mhz crystals are from a chinese eBay seller.  I've got some 16Mhz, 20Mhz & 24Mhz crystals coming from Digikey and will replace the current crystals shortly and post the results.  I'm looking to get the same speed Bluestreak66 has reported with a 16Mhz crystal.

Here's my current miner output at diff 4. I'm looking at the avg as the device speed. ICA 7 is the only one not modified as a reference.

Hopefully, bluestreak66 was saying the chips have a theoretical max of 1GH/s and that around 750MH/s would be the limit of these boards.  So hopefully I can get these higher frequencies going with water cooling and decent power supplies. More for fun than profit of course. I'd like to think I can get the BE's to pay for themselves in a year and they'll need all the help they can get.
