You call me a FUDer, but you'll see this coin falling again if developed like recently. This web store with nootropics is nothing but PR bullshit. The only interesting feature of this coin is PeerSend, but anonymity isn't cool any more. Dev, figure out something better to ride on. One more thing, learn Linux. Using Windows for crypto development isn't cool either.

MID is worthless, less than 0.5 BTC on the whole buy side and low volume. How is it a mover? COCO is about the same crap. SEED is better, but it didn't even move 10 BTC at the pump time. CKC isn't impressive either. Come on Ryan, these coins are junk. I guess you have earned more from your subscribers the last week than from those P&D. If you have 100 BTC in business, move to larger coins. For example, UNO was a good ride the whole week long. About +80%, but they got not bad volume.

Their new UI sucks. Really. They better restore the previous one.

My last post was October 8th, 2014. It's October 10th, 2014. And theres an article titled "HalcyonCoin without Dev?" and others "i think hes gone" Really? It's been less than 48 hours. PeerSend is quality technology. The coin has been severely manipulated from the start, by more than one groups, and also costed me a lot of lost profit. However I've continued to work in the face of the manipulation. It's a ninja launch, of course a lot of coins were instamined. That is the point of a ninja launch, a quick but open distribution of initial shares. Yes a lot of coins were mined in the short mining period, this is common sense. I was merely a small percentage of the hashrate. Never worked on TheoremCoin or even was aware of its existence. It seems this FUDer is using the theroemcoin block explorer to link the connection but I did not set up the block explorer. I paid .05 btc to a user on IRC to set it up for me as I was busy working on the anonymous sending technology. Which I may remind you... is delivered, functional, supported by *my* coins on the masternodes. Take your FUD elsewhere. Edit: This is more outright manipulation. Notice how Phantom noticed the buy wall first. He is maybe the one placing it, hoping for you to dump, and then me to fix his mess. I don't know who put this 100K HAL buy wall @ 3221 sat. on Bittrex. Either he has no clue what's going on or it's an inside job. Smells like shit anyway. Sure, sure. You wanted this coin to be instamined and participated in the process happily. You paid someone and put his code in without even reviewing it. Sounds like a lame excuse. You have created all this mess by your own incompetence.

I guess we where fcked...
We all were fucked myself included. I bought a nice load of HAL @10K thinking it couldn't be bad at such an all-time-low price. But they kept dumping big time. WTF? You don't dump at loss if you know a new web store is coming online. You dump if you know nothing is coming. Now, this coin is falling like a rock and the "dev" doesn't even care to post anything remotely assuring here. I started to dig his crap. I wish I discovered this scam yesterday. No fun to sell at loss. Now I wonder if he is going to pull a trick by buying up at this bottom price and coming up with another lie, but he is probably busy now with another fresh scamcoin.

Didn't you get the news? ...
Any proof? Or yet another FUD? 1. Halcyon was started exactly after Theoremcoin went down. Not much difference between these coins actually. Okay, could be a coincidence. 2. Take a look at GitHub ( https://github.com/halcyondev/halcyon). There are 5 commits. The initial upload, 2 commits for the block explorer and 2 last commits are just bullshit. The initial upload looks like a pro scamming job from a clean template. He fucked up with the block explorer: https://github.com/halcyondev/halcyon/commit/4428a4fff6500254e27065efde499a50e0deab4b#diff-0db7dd184df07a48c307ccc182021a68R248+ blockAction = new QAction(QIcon(":/icons/block"), tr("&Block Explorer"), this); + blockAction->setToolTip(tr("Explore the Theoremcoin Blockchain")); + blockAction->setShortcut(QKeySequence(Qt::ALT + Qt::Key_6)); + blockAction->setCheckable(true); + tabGroup->addAction(blockAction);
He forgot to edit the tooltip. Ouch... This dude launched this coin with extreme instamine as premine didn't work well previously. Did you know this coin was started at zero diff with 300 HAL per block and got 460K HAL mined in the first day + 368K in the second day + 281K in the third day? That's 1.1M coins in just 3 days! Website, roadmap, block explorer, faucet, bells & whistles etc. including getting listed on the most popular exchanges to make you all buy in. I bet he paid Dan Metcalf for a code review. This scam is over, time to cash out.

wtf price?
waiting for news!!!!!!!
Didn't you get the news? The "dev" dumped and gone laughing at all of you. I bet he is preparing another scam now. His previous work prior to Halcyon was Theoremcoin. 3% premine, X11 PoW/PoS, eye candy wallet with stealth features, nice website, etc. Announced, put on Bittrex, pumped, dumped and died one week old. Now delisted, website down, GitHub deleted, say goodbye. Halcyon was better prepared and catched much more attention = more profit to him and his fellow whales. So, this coin is dead unless the community stops thinking of pumps & dumps, hires a real responsible dev with a track record and starts to create value instead of cheap talks.

I don't buy coin IPOs and don't care about them. I can day trade these coins for a quick profit, but that's all. High risk means high yields, no sentiments when they go down the drain.

In fact, there is no such thing as "buy now, come back in X months" altcoin. All of them fail against BTC in the long run. You get in if you know something is going to happen soon. Buy low, sell high. No hard feelings, it's just business.
But, what if there is a coin you actually like and want to use? Just sell it anyways? If you like something, don't want to sell and make a profit, it becomes personal and hurts business. Sell it now and buy back later at least.

People are easy to throw money at pumps & dumps, fake innovations and outright scams if manipulated properly. They are not easy to support actual development even if they hold a significant share of a particular coin. Some day these honest coin developers realise their work is stolen simply by those bagholders who don't contribute anything useful. They slow down or even give up.

Ryan, any tips for tonight into tomorrow morning?
I'm looking at NLG, GB, VIA and LXC I've also been playing the ETHAN and XST dips for sometime now. I think NLG is more of a buy now come back in 6 months coin. It's risky to trade right now because it could blast off to 2000 as they literally getting updates everyday or it could go below 1000 and you can get in cheaper. In fact, there is no such thing as "buy now, come back in X months" altcoin. All of them fail against BTC in the long run. You get in if you know something is going to happen soon. Buy low, sell high. No hard feelings, it's just business.

Tired of being scammed and losing to bots, how do I most effectively scam people?
Start to learn from those scammers and bots

So what? Everything goes up and down in price.

What a shame. They could just sell the exchange if they cannot pay the people out. Even if it wasn't enough to restore the entire balance, even a partial refund could help their reputation or what's left of it.

If they can't process those stuck withdrawals, why not to cancel them automatically after a day or so? The people can trade these coins at least and make them some fees.

https://cryptostocks.com/welcome/helpDelisting of Projects Delisting a project is the process of terminating all services pertaining to a project.
Reasons for delisting The Exchange may choose to delist a project for reasons such as (but not limited to): - violation of terms and conditions - very low trading volume, with very low trading volume defined as less than an equivalent of 10 USD in a period of 100 days. - fraud, scams, illegal activities - discretion of the Exchange
I guess if CoinEX doesn't solve the withdrawal issues ASAP, people may start asking CryptoStocks to terminate their IPO and delist altogether. If they have no coins to fund the withdrawals, they need to borrow them or find a real investor. If they continue to ignore the situation with the withdrawals, their IPO is going to be a failure anyway.
