562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency be a key financial sector in the future? on: September 04, 2018, 05:00:26 PM
You think positively and that will contribute to changing the world. Cryptocurrency has provided people with financial satisfaction and where payment is a core issue. Cryptocurrency and blockchain are now being Enterprises apply to help their work be promoted more vigorously
if blockhain is adopted massively, the financial sector will be better and will reduce the level of corruption or manipulation that often occurs. because the nature of the blockchain that is transparent and open to the public will make it easier for everyone to monitor all of them.
Blockchain is obviously the future and there is no doubt that we would get to see some pretty good adoption for it in the future. For cryptocurrency, we sure know this is the next financial instrument that is already taking the financial sector like a storm and generating a lot of interest as well as some hatred and attack due to its disruptive abilities.

Nevertheless, I believe cryptocurrency is already penetrating the financial sector or has somehow penetrated even though not in much volume, but from what it is worth, I believe it will be a key financial sector as time goes by.
563  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current BTC price below 8K on: September 03, 2018, 02:54:06 PM
I think that's because there is news from the ETF and because there are also other bad news that finally makes many traders panic so that the bitcoin prices tend to fall and often collapse.
A lot of people currently believe that the anticipated wait for the outcome of the ETF is what is still helping the market to hold on at this point. It is still a bit hard to understand how the market is going to be doing before or immediately after then, but for now, we can just hope for the best.

Asides some of the negative things going on, there are really nothing so positive to see the market grow substantially, most especially after last year bull run. It could be a good time to buy but still be vigilant at the same time, monitoring the movement of the market and reactions at certain points.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin Continues To Slide on: September 02, 2018, 04:49:27 PM
Even the litecoin dev Charlie Lee dumped his litecoin.  I wouldn't invest in a coin that had the creator dump his own coins, it shows he doesn't care about the future of this coin.
Don't be so quick to start judging just because the creator dumped his own coin and he gave enough reasons why he decided to do that.

Although, it is understandable that sent a lot of wrong signals into the market, but we also need to understand that the development of litecoin does not lie on the owner abandoning his own ship by offloading his coins, but simply by how development comes up for this market in the long run in terms of use as payment which is what I feel we should be more concerned about.
565  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Solution for your market problems. on: September 02, 2018, 02:45:50 PM
The sulotion of the current  market are mass adoption of cryptocurrencies. We seen tons of ICO right now and a new altcoins  and coins everyday but the question  is how does that token can be apply in a  real world?  What will make people adopted that token?  If 80% of the world population will use cryptocurrency I believe that the marketcap will be stable as well as the price of every coins and altcoins.
Adoption is just all that is needed and for this to even be happening at all, there would be need for people to see the need to use the space for what it really is and not just based on speculations which as far as I am concerned, is the only thing that has been driving this market and a lot of people have really ended up losing track of what is really necessary to make this market even more sustainable when it comes to its prices and support in the long run.

MFCHAIN or Linkchain may still come up with something good, but it does not mean that would change the perception of a lot just immediately and it is not like what they are offering is something new.
566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Impact of the pending ETF in September? on: September 01, 2018, 04:57:33 PM
I doubt it will have any affect if it gets rejected.

We have seen bitcoin ETF's get rejected multiple times so far and none of them really affected the price that much and I think people believe that even discussing bitcoin as a way of making money on regular peoples ETF subjects is a great news for bitcoin even without getting accepted, although if it gets accepted and there is an ETF of bitcoin for everyone to invest with their banks or wherever they will get it, than the price can go up so much that the bull run on December will look small.

Hence, there is really no downside to this, if it gets rejected as always (which I think it will) it won't go down but if it gets accepted the sky is the limit for us.
567  Economy / Economics / Re: Government should implement blockchain technology to prevent corruption. on: September 01, 2018, 08:38:31 AM
This is really a great idea. Any sincere government looking to stamp out corruption should totally look in this direction. But as we very know, the governments in most countries will not consider this. They wouldn't want to seal off their loopholes into the general treasury. I'm looking forward however to the first countries that will implement this. I would really like to see how things turn out. I won't be shocked though if after implementation things don't take a dramatic change. We humans always find a way around checks and balances. But at least then, it would take some smartness and intelligence to do away with government funds.
That is it! Any sincere government!! Between you and me, which government today is actually sincere ?
With the idea of public ledgers, this is something that would bring about a huge transparency and at least make the government accountable for every spending.

For countries where corruption has become a norm, you think this is something that would want to be allowed, and even if allowed, don't you think they will find a way to limit it so as to be able to continue with their corrupt practices ?

Just like you said, humans are bound to find a way around. It would be a great development though if the government is prepared to do something like this, but we know it would be a hard thing for them to accept but adopting the latest technology will become a mandatory thing to withstand against the new requirements.
568  Economy / Economics / Re: How the Bank works to make money? on: August 31, 2018, 04:01:23 PM
The bank is home to money or a savings and loan place for every customer who borrows at interest, it is possible that the interest is all for the bank administration to pay salaries and so on
We all know bank is where we save money, quite alright, but that money you save and the reason they compel you to save it is because it is useful for the daily operation of the bank when it comes to utilizing it for other reasons to generate revenue.

Some of this includes the amount of interest they get on loan which is actually the major area banks get a lot of money from. They also tend to invest outside this, like in the area of mortgage securities, treasury bonds, and for those who may be operating mutual funds as an investment product, they can even use that money to invest in stocks.
569  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Walmart,Multinational Retail Company Filed Patent for a Blockchain-Based Market on: August 31, 2018, 05:43:14 AM
This is great. I always like forward thinking. All these big corporations owe us that much. There are too many benefits with the Blockchain technology for it to go down. They should actually be in a contest to be first to implement it. But of course there is a lot of bureaucracy involved. I sincerely hope innovation wins in the end. We should only be moving forward now and not remaining stagnant.
Solidly on point! It is a good thing to see them filing patent for a blockchain based market and it is about time we started seeing the real life usage of the blockchain technology and with this coming into play, I guess a lot of things will end up changing in the space. There are big giants in the retail industry, and I want to believe their entrance will actually bring about some solid momentum for the space. Like you said, it is best to see innovation winning at the end to bring about further development.

Walmart filed patent for a blockchain-based marketplace. Bestowing to US Patent and Trademark Office USPTO patent filing, it is trading with purchased products. The firm is in a plan to extend its digital services for retail shoppers.
That is some pretty big and huge step towards usage on the retail level I must say. If this can end up pulling through, I want to believe it would usher in some pretty good growth in the blockchain world and like someone rightly said, eliminate some form of stagnancy or just the mentality of some people getting rich overnight as this will be a useful attempt to bring huge metamorphosis in the retail world.
570  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin In 2019? on: August 30, 2018, 07:12:53 PM
Most of us here (probably all of us here) do not know what bitcoin can be tomorrow let alone in 2019, all of these guesses are just that, a guess. There is absolutely no way to know what bitcoin will do or can do in 2019. We are not even sure what bitcoin can do at the rest of 2018 let alone try to estimate the price for 2019.

However, one thing is for sure that bitcoin will get bigger audience in the world because just 3 years ago when I talked with my friends about bitcoin they did not know what I was talking about and I had to explain to them. Now they know what it is and keep asking if I became rich... well I did not but hey at least they know bitcoin and what it is now, with more time, more people will learn.

572  Economy / Speculation / Re: Again the same as August 22... +$ 300 in just 10 minutes on: August 29, 2018, 04:07:46 PM
Just because it was increased that quickly like before doesn't mean it will neither fall nor will go up. Individual movements on bitcoin doesn't reflect the future of it by a longshot. We need to understand that sometimes there are movements that look like promising or depressing but won't be followed by the same movement.

Just because we reached $7k easily today doesn't mean we will go to $8k than $9 than $10. It also doesn't mean just because it was a quick gain it doesn't mean there will be correction right away and drop to $6k afterwards. These small movements happen by themselves and what follows is only decided by us, the people who keep using bitcoin, we decide if it will go up or down, just like if it didn't happen in the first place.
573  Economy / Economics / Re: Stop talking about cashless society! Let us preserve mother nature! on: August 28, 2018, 03:40:58 PM
You think you have been preserving mother nature with cash all these while. Stop deceiving yourself mate.

Moreover, I do not see how this would really mean much for the mother nature preservation when the energy and what you are trying to preserve are meant to be used for something tangible anyway and they are simply more like the way of seeing more advancement in technology and how things can be done faster and better.

Cashless society has nothing to do with the pandemic situations you mentioned such as earthquake, floods, storms, which makes me wonder the point you were really trying to drive at in the first place.
574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Resources to learn crypto trading? on: August 28, 2018, 06:02:30 AM
Oh, internet has  so much to offer if you are just patiently searching for appropriate sources. I, myself started with reading stuffs online, watching youtube.. It really helps. Until I jpined some telegram groups, followed some crypto enthusiast  on twitter and they allowed you to join their discord groups but with fees.
A whole lot to offer just that, very few people are usually eager to make use of it to their advantage and we have a lot of people who are too lazy to research or learn. The good thing about the digital age is that, there is no resource you cannot end up finding and if you can take your time to learn as much as you can, you would just be surprise at how easy things will be after putting what you have learned into practices.

I started with some trading blog sites, followed some good traders on trading view to see how they do their analysis, make use of YouTube as well and at the end, was able to put so many things together to be able to end up having my own strategy and doing great with it.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs Created a Strong 44% Downtrend for Ether in 14 Days on: August 24, 2018, 05:14:41 PM
Within a period of just 2 weeks (August 1 — August 14), the price of Ether, the native crypto of Ethereum network, plunged by 44%. In two weeks, the price of Ethereum dropped from $470 to $260, marking its lowest point this year by plummeting below the $300 mark for its first time since early November last year.

The whole Crypto market faced a sharp decline in real valuation, losing almost $150 billion of its real valuation in within a month. However, Ether, which performed particularly well against the US dollar over other bull Cryptos such as Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash, easily turned out to be one of the worst performing Cryptos in August.

Read the details in the article of Coinidol dot com, the world blockchain news outlet: https://coinidol.com/icos-created-a-strong-44-downtrend-for-ether-in-14-days/

[im g]https://coinidol.com/upload/resize_cache/iblock/739/900_900_1/7396855ec1795da3a6c5e8ef2c129c14.png[/img]
Putting all the blame on the ICO's is a bit harsh if you ask me.
Basically all coins out there have dropped incredibly low recently, ethereum has been doing a bit worse than the rest but it also got high while all others went down before that as well, I believe ethereum tried to hang on as long as it can but eventually cave in and dropped as well which made it a sharper fall but still the same numbers like others. Hence, do not put all the blame on ICO's but also market has to get the blame as well, market is down for every single coin, why not for ethereum.

If you look at it that way, there is now way ethereum could have stayed up.
576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: natural constant: high Risk = high reward on: August 23, 2018, 12:47:07 PM
Almost always true. If you invest into something that has high risk it doesn't always means it will have high reward though.

Like you can put your money into some scam coin that is run by people who look like they are out to scam you and you just put your faith in it for small return yet you may get scammed like you assumed and in the end you were not in it for a high reward at all.

High risk doesn't really mean high reward all the time, but low risk usually means low reward almost all the time, there is no low risk high reward investment at all. Hence, if opposite of this is said, its 99% true but this one is like %80 true because of the scammers. Take scammers out and its 99% like the opposite.

578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What about Ethereum-based gambling games? on: August 20, 2018, 09:20:14 AM
There could definitely be some sort of "who will be the champions" type of games based on the contract of ethereum blockchain. You can bet on a team to win and all that will be tied to blockchain with the teams the bets the results and so forth.

When the team you bet wins, the contract is over and you get your winnings, when the team you root for doesn't win the money stays with the website. I think that is the only way I can think of that can win. Olympics could be another use for the similar stuff like who will get the gold or whatever but aside from that its really hard to manage daily on each game, would require some great coder to achieve that each day.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: August 20, 2018, 08:26:54 AM
It is no doubt the celtics will be better but the problem is the positions they lost last year was covered greatly on the playoffs. I mean hayward was missing but there was jaylen brown and jason tatum filling that whole and tatum literally almost broke a rookie playoff scoring record. Hayward was missed for sure but they did not have some g league player playing on their small forward position. Maybe point guard kyrie irving was missed more because there was not someone that was filling that whole as well as tatum did but they still had great defenders there who stopped their opponents all game. Kyrie and hayward of course will help a lot but it won't be a change that is suddenly championship team type of change, just a bit better thats all.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel now? on: August 20, 2018, 06:03:35 AM
If you came into crypto without care to learn about the tech then you're probably not doing so hot...

However, if you spent meaningful time immersing yourself in the future of blockchain, there's no concern to be had. The number of jobs in the industry is increasing each day, and this emerging sector is not going to reverse any time soon. Now is as good a time as ever to get involved.
Those who simply focus more on the market's future and get less worried about the present will surely do well for themselves in the long run. This is not something that we need a soothsayer to tell us, no matter the manipulation in the market, group of whales cannot manipulate the market to the downside forever knowing they have nothing to gain anyway. Apart from that, this is a market that is still evolving and the fact that we are the early part of it makes a lot of sense.

More particularly nothing to feel except for OP to understand the maliciousness of the whales and be able to play accordingly. It is a decentralized space and since you already know now that whales are malicious and greedy which would make them manipulate the market to their gains as much as they want, then learns how you can look forward to buying at the dips and selling during bull rallies. That to me makes more sense as the case may be than trying to panic over nothing we cannot change.
