561  Other / Meta / Re: New Child Board for banned users... on: October 25, 2018, 03:37:37 AM
The threads might help to take the load off admins/moderators because often these questions can be answered by regular users e.g. by showing plagiarism examples.
The question is if there is a new child board for banned user, will normal user visit that? Creating a child board will reduce the load in meta but wwon't it be an extra task for mod?

Silent26 also proposed this idea back in July.

Anyway, for the sake of having some necessary info on 1st page, we need to move this issue in another child board. I think theymos should now consider it.

Some more people have also discussed about it earlier. For having some more ideas-
562  Other / Meta / Re: What's more important to judge whether or not I should be trusted? on: October 24, 2018, 03:50:47 PM
OP was only recently added to DT.
Quite off-topic
OgNasty added OP on his/her trust list. As a result, OP was automatically trusted by the people who had added OgNasty on their trust list. Am I correct?
I'm just little curious about the trust system.

Correct, or more specifically, OPs trust ratings are automatically included in trust rating calculations to those that have OgNasty in their trust list.
I think now I got how trust system works. Thank you.
563  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Helpful Links on: October 24, 2018, 03:07:44 PM
You have added some threads which add zero value for users.
There is one great list for some helpful links. You can find a lot in that linked below.
Index to popular bitcointalk threads
This one is an example only. There are at least hundreds of threads on helpful links. Is there any need for further creating a thread?
It's always better to join existence ng discussion instead of starting a new one.
564  Other / Meta / Re: Topic title style guide on: October 24, 2018, 10:26:00 AM
Bumping so that people can know how to write a topic's title.
It's kinda useful for having a nice title so that people don't get bore after seeing your worst title.
Title is the first impression of a thread. If someone can't write a perfect title, his/her thread may not get enough attention.

Hello
Can someone apply here without any previous experience?
566  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a full time content writer - Fixed Monthly Salary with bonus on: October 24, 2018, 06:29:59 AM
$200/30= $6.67/3= $2.22 per article where a minimum of 500 words are required?
I barely think you will get a writer who will work, at least no one will produce a original article. Rather you will get copy/paste article with shit writings.
567  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cooper member benefits on: October 24, 2018, 06:13:43 AM
With copper member, you can get almost the same benefits as a member ranked user. You can use same signature style. But in PM, you are still restricted.

568  Other / Meta / Re: Add a rule about titles of new topics on: October 24, 2018, 05:20:03 AM
Maybe, one could create a guide on how to create a good title for a topic.
Title play a good role because if someone use a good title, we don't need to read the OP, also not the discussion. We can create comment without having eyes on the content as like as you did with your comment.
569  Other / Meta / Re: Why we do not give reasons? on: October 24, 2018, 05:08:44 AM
So this will reduce also question why I got ban. I think admin should include this since lot of people's getting ban lately.
I had created a thread on this and got some discussion which were true in some way but not logical.

Most of the users get banned for plagiarism. But there are some other reasons too.
Now, if users get the message that s/he has been banned for plagiarism (for example), again they will post in meta in the hope for having back their account. The question from them will be-
1. What is plagiarism? I don't know.
2. I did never copied anyone. Why am I banned?

If the reason is visible to banned user, still they will post and spam in meta.
No output, situation will be same while moderator have to complete some extra works. So, I don't personally think it is needed.
570  Other / Meta / Re: Merit fan of top merited user & recognize rank. on: October 24, 2018, 04:51:15 AM
I think it ia necessary that he should make credits to you. It's your work, it should be permitted by you before he is going to post. Or else it is copy pasted?
it is copied and pasted but legally.
How do you think it's legal to use anyone else's property without asking owner's permission? Sharing a link or credit the author is enough? Not at all. You must have permission to use others work. Without permission, it remains the same.
For example, suppose, I have copied an article from here and used it in my blog. I gave credit to the original owner and I have shared a link to the original post. Can it be legal? No way. Can you imagine someone is monetizing that article too?

@OP
You give less effort or no effort at all in this. Although you have shared the reason behind thiss thread. I don't think Vod has accused you for plagiarism in any sense, but, he has just indicated that there was no effort from you in this thread.
Also, people are using information from bpip project for having research and it is allowed too, afaik. We can use information as raw data. That's it.

Obviously to get merited as a merit analyst just as he duplicates his scam ico list everywhere.
Merit isn't the only thing for which some people are being dedicated. I think @OP is fair enough here. His intention for the ico list is to get attention from the newbie so that they can skip the scam ico.
571  Other / Meta / Re: Why we do not give reasons? on: October 24, 2018, 04:16:55 AM
If I know that user is banned for this reason , it will make me cautious that I should not open any link given from that user in any post or in PM.
Can banned user send PM? I think they can't. If you are talking about PM from previous, in that case, you might be a victim. Remaining a such caution or not remaining a such caution rreflect the same meaning. You can't know the actual output of that link as long as you are not clicking the link. So, better, I will skip anyone who sends irrelevant link.

And suspicious link will definitely be removed from his/her post if the user is banned.
572  Other / Meta / Re: Add a rule about titles of new topics on: October 23, 2018, 09:45:59 PM
Long ago theymos had shared kinda guidelines for creating titles of a thread and I think that one is enough. No need for further guidelines.
Here it is- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=102944.0

The only problem is that no one/only a little applies those rules. I think we should promote some rules through factoid so that people know about those, at least for the people who are concerned about our forum.
573  Economy / Services / Re: [SURVEY]|Take a quick Survey about Gambling & Bitcoin/Crypto|Get $3 in BTC on: October 23, 2018, 07:02:50 PM
Some newbies are here with their 1st post, lol. Seems someone is cheating with alts. I think you should restrict this for a certain rank/number posts.
I know you are too experienced. But what resist you not to specify some rules which may reduce the percentage of cheating.
Anyway, sorry for interfere. I have already completed my survey and submitted. I enjoyed submitting my info and it seems a big step for something good for the cryptocurrency world and gambling with cryptocurrency. Thank you.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Blockchain marketing, everything you need to know to lunch you're First project on: October 23, 2018, 04:52:09 PM
Can you please fix the "lunch"? I know it's a typo but it has changed the whole meaning of the title.
575  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit Giveaway for not hoarding sMerits on: October 23, 2018, 11:40:17 AM
I'll avoid sending you any merits as a result of this post.
Depends on your opinion. But I thought to boost up the ratio sending sMerit.

Anyway, since noone has liked the idea. I will lock the thread.
You can check my sMerit history, I didn't send much before this. After realising the situation, I thought to inspire everyone to send sMerit whenever s/he saw a quality post. That was my idea.

577  Other / Meta / Re: Autoban. Help on: October 22, 2018, 08:51:17 PM
I don’t break the rules of the forum.please help me to solve this problem.
Possibilty of being banned without a single reason is nearly 0. Lots of people have complained here like you while almost all of them did the same thing, the most hateful job, copy/paste a.k.a plagiarism. I don't know what your case is but you definitely have done something wrong. I'm trying to let you know as soon as possible.

#Update-
I didn't get you on copy/pasting. Wait for a response from mod or someone else.
578  Other / Beginners & Help / Merit Giveaway for not hoarding sMerits on: October 22, 2018, 08:28:31 PM
Inspired by- Stop searching for merits and you will received them.- see Smerit as liabilities
I didn't think about it previously. I didn't had too much intention to send sMerits to others. Lately, by visiting that thread, I have realized that it's not really a good practice to hoard sMerits. That's why I am thinking of sending all of my sMerits to others.

The requirements-
1. You have to spend 2 merits at least on good quality posts. I will not send you merit if you spend on this thread. Sending merit on this thread will disqualify you.
2. Link of the posts on which you send sMerits.

I will reward you with 1 sMerits.
Thank you.

579  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: October 22, 2018, 08:05:47 PM
All things considered, this system is pretty cool. It is a hassle to have to go to a separate page to give points to a post - is it possible to implement this within the thread itself?
I don't think it's a good idea. Also, I think it was discussed previously. Initailly the system was that like you are asking.
Imagine, you are observing a thread and got one post to send merit and clicked. You are being left the thread. It's boring. It's better to open a new tab and merit them. You don't have to quit the thread. Isn't it better?

And here it is:
I already don't like the way clicking on +merit takes you away from the thread.  Can you please have it open in a new window?
580  Other / Meta / Re: Trust rating on: October 22, 2018, 07:54:39 PM
Before creating a thread, please don't be lazy to have a search either on forum or in google. It has been discussed previously. You can simply write "trust rating on Beginner's and Help" with the word bitcointalk and easily get the result from google.
Link to previous thread- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5036649.0
See the image below for finding out how to get the result from google.
