Ok but mathematically you can't purchase products at a lower price in the long run. If you participate in thousands of events, at some point your losses should be averaged with your savings and overall result in paying the original price of the product. When you save, someone has to pay, and when you pay, someone can save.
Would anyone from the team mind commenting on this? It is not precisely true to say that you could shop premium products at lower prices. Someone has to pay for your benefit, and in the end the community in aggregate didn't save a penny. In the long run, even an individual shouldn't be able to save money. Correct me if I am wrong please. You can see in the whitepaper that the revenue per product is higher than its cost, because of the participation fee and winner's contribution. Theoretically you would be correct, except there's a way to push luck in your favor through the karma system. Anyway, the main thing to remember is that is designed around the sensation of winning a super discount. That is something worth in itself. And that psychological effect makes it a perfect investment. Well, the expected value for any single individual participating in events should approach zero with zero = original product of the price under the assumption of an individual's participation converging ∞. This is not a new economic model. You have a chance to buy it cheaper just like you have a chance to win 1000 in a lottery. You may end up spending more or less than the original amount in participation fees before you win the prize. Besides, "the product" is a malleable concept, it's the combination of the tangible and intangible. Why is a 120 g of peas in a cute tin can more expensive than a pound of peas in a bag? Why do people buy coconut water? Why do we happily keep paying the Apple premium? The point I am making is that I can't seem to find a "new economic model". There is no new economic model. It's a lottery with some extra spice called "Karma". A lottery is not a new economic model, is it?

This is good news for sure. Are you trying to get directly involved with that Alliance somehow or is that out of reach?

I think right now is the perfect time to buy. In the near future we will see a threefold increase.
Hehe, would you be willing to make a bet about that? What is the time-window you would like to specify I will not sell my doge cheaper. this is silly. In the next two months, the price will be above 100 sat Who knows, we will see in two months whether you have been right or not. threefold is quite a way to go.

Yes, absolutely agree We will see in the future how big the benefit for humanity contributed by Gridcoin turns out to be.

Always good to have some of these very old rock solid projects being around. Too many of them have been left by the devs half way.

Yes the idea is really decent. Always depends on the execution in the end, but has some potential for sure.

Glad to see a new thread, this project is the first eco-friendly project I've ever met, a project that has the potential to succeed, because success is related to action, successful people keep moving. They make mistakes but do not give up, hopefully go well, good luck
Thanks so much for the kind words! I do hope you like our new ANN. It is no doubt, there are many coins that claim to be 'green'. I am glad you found an honest and diligent one on your first attempt. Even through the ups and downs, to which there has been many, continual forward momentum is a bit of an anthem. It is easy to get of course or flirt with surrender when fixating on setbacks. I cannot thank the community members enough for all the support that helped make those setbacks a blur and not to remain in focus. I too am glad we never gave up. Nor ever would. Much like the summer that is upon many of us, we are beginning to see the fruits of our labors with EverGreenCoin. Finally. Both in causes and profits. Through all that work and dedication. I am honestly astounded to think of the future and what more we will accomplish. Many thanks, again, for the kind words and also for the wish of luck! But what we do end up lacking in luck, we will fill with persistence. To the treetop! I like the tone in this thread, rarely works like that in other threads.

Have their been real contributions to good causes from this project or are there any partnerships or potential partners that consider using evergreencoin? I wonder how EGC is attractive from an investor's standpoint?
There have been contribution to good causes by EverGreenCoin and its community, yes. We have funded a water well in Bangledish and clean bottled water to residence of Flint Michigan. There are potential partnerships, yes. Most notable at this time is Chooose Today. All this information is within our old ANN. You may find that informative. We have market analysis tools that may be helpful as well. Thanks for your interest! Thanks a lot for your detailed response. I am going to look into that stuff.

True, but what is the ATMchain project actually focusing on? Content sharing and stuff?

So is the app already fully functional and can be connected to a mobile phone or did I get that wrong?

Snapup is actually a great name for a startup! since I love snapups, I am going to follow this.

Hey this looks like really cool! Are you guys trying to decentralize the institutional financial investment sphere?

Guys,
did anyone actually hear back from all the Cryptsy stuff and the filing for compensation? I had DOGE there and filled out the form, anyone else here did the same?
Don't think I had much DOGE on Cryptsy, can't really remember how much I had in there - think a few DASH, BTC, IXC and XMG by the time all transactions stopped. Didn't bother filling out a compensation claim as I'd move most of my funds out before the collapse Ok, I tried so hard to get my funds off cryptsy, but they kept telling the same stories for months. It was already too late then. Lost quite some DOGE, will see how it turns out. If anybody knows something, would be great to hear back.

anyone? Why there's no one except bots in this thread ? Whats the project rain thing? is it this lift of team limit or is it entirely something else?
Project rain, from what I understand, is when member of the group can reward the group as a whole with their own gridcoin. So if you rain 100 grc then it gets spit within the gridcoin group participating in that project, with the highest performers getting the highest relative percentage. Who manages the 'rain' ? neural net? And I don't get the reward part. So if I understood correctly some team 'xyz' (not team gridcoin) member sends his own GRC to his, lets say BAM account manager address and the that grc gets distributed along the members of that team, right? (makes little sense to me right now) Does anybody now exactly know how this works out? It think It's some kind of black box technology Or at least we ask in the wrong page. Whats up with the grc price ? Is it normal correction or something else? And another question about magnitude. I'm doing research with grcpool, it seems that my magnitude is increasing about 1 unit per day (around 11 mag currently). Can i calculate this magnitude increase to be stable in short term if I won't be shutting down hosts or increasing them? And whats the period of RAC? More exactly what does Recent in RAC mean in terms of time? What do you mean by "black box technology"? Like you have no clue what all this is about or is it magical stuff? Maybe someone can explain it?
