Gridseed Blades (40 chip); look sideways at them and either the regulator hardware will burn out or the MCU will die.

seems our little buddy luke-jr isnt such a good christian..
block 388365 - f2pool (and to be fair f2pool actually processed tx for a change) block 388366 - eligius (1 tx - 25btc)
have at it guys; red-handed..

Check nicehash's github repo; supported there..

Forgive me if i'm wrong; but Antpool appears to be doing the same thing (found block, not submitting straight away, mining on header of found block, submitting both in quick succession).. standard behaviour from them?
Blocks 387005 and 387006..

just ran into a similar issue, hope it helps.. assume you're using python-stratum instead of mpos (as a dropin), what is your USE_COINDAEMON_DIFF and DIFF_UPDATE_FREQUENCY set to?
i find when USE_COINDAEMON_DIFF is enabled, with DIFF_UPDATE_FREQUENCY set quite short - will result in symptoms you've mentioned. mining starts fine, but you can see while it checks for blocks, its like no work is being submitted.

> 1. Too many coins are crushing the price. # has to be decreased to below a billion or this coin is doomed.
I can't see anyone going with this as they will lose out. How is the coin doomed with too many coins?
2. Find a way so New York coins can exchanged for subway Fares on MetroCard (the payment method for the New York City Subway)
Keep it in reality man.
3. Dump the PoW and go with PoS or at least a hybrid PoW/PoS as most are losing interest in spending more on electricity and mining equipment than what the coin is worth.
This isnt such a bad idea, but how will it affect existing holders who will just clear up with the PoS weight they'll have? It will just put them in a better position. Personally I do not see any need to change NYC.

Thats not inflation, thats dilution of the currency.

i mean nearly no from community, any dev here developing it with plans/news? just mine and trade thats not enough in my opinion to call it active and alive coin.
build a linux or windows standalone host and leave it running the wallet all day; that would be enough support for the 'community' itself, theres nothing wrong with the code. what new and innovative plans would you like to see NYC with?

I just recently downloaded a Litecoin miner 2 days ago and for some reason it is telling me that I am only mining at 6 to 7 kh/s. When I am on minergate, i am mining at 56kh/s. What is the difference in why I am mining so slow on one miner when I am so high on another. Any ideas?
You need to tell us more about your miner. Is this a CPU or GPU miner? What is the model of the GPU? Setting of the miner? It is a CPU miner. I did not tweak the settings of the CPU, for I do not know how to do that. I was thinking about buying a GPU, but I do not know what to look for and how much I should spend. Litecoin is an Scrypt algorithm coin; while most of the offerings at Minergate are CryptoNight. You'll find that you are probably hashing at 56h/s with Cryptonight, not 56kh/s. As with Scrypt, any available Cryptonight currency's difficulty has skyrocketed making it GPU (Videocard) only territory. Tadblt: don't feel compelled to reply to every post you can see.. just makes you look stupid(er)

Hello I have been a long time off any mining activity (last time I was actively mining the LTC was 40$ a piece). Are there any coins left that can be mined via GPU usages and still result in profit? I do not have free power, so that could very well be what tips the scale against such a case. Still, even the slightest profit would be enough to make me try. Scrypt has been dead on GPU for years now, however take a look at nicehash/westhash and see if your card manages any profit on the other algorithms.

I love the amount of 'insight' in this set of posts, the basic fact is - if 42 only had 42 coins total, people would dump it all to BTC and stop mining it. Community? Get real.. New coin arrives, people mine/buy and sell, rinse and repeat - don't keep spewing fiction. It wasn't a miscalculation of total coin-base - the dev just didn't have any conditions set for when supply exceeded 42. Lets look at https://github.com/fourtytwo42/42/blob/master/src/main.cpp: 862: if(nHeight == 4242424) 863: { 864: nSubsidy = 0.00042 * COIN; 865: } 866: if(nHeight >= 990382) 867: { 868: nSubsidy = 0.00; 869: } 870: return nSubsidy + nFees Lines 866-869 were only added 5 months ago; so mining would only receive the fees (tiny) hence making it worthless. Cryptsy has decided to ignore the new code (because they do what they like basically) - so 42 will most likely go on forever. Least the dev has a sense of humour: 846: if(nHeight == 420) // yay its 420 Time for a smoke 847: { 848: nSubsidy = 0.00042 * COIN; 849: } Basically, put this behind you - keep trading all your scrypt to BTC like everyone else, and dont read into the hype.

I was on here and found this: In a message on Github this weekend, Sydney-based co-creator Jackson Palmer announced the amount of Dogecoin would not be fixed, meaning it's possible for an infinite amount of Dogecoin to be created. (This was first spotted by Ars Technica's Cyrus Favriar). Every new "block" of Dogecoin that gets mined will yield 10,000 units of the currency. In my opinion, this is a very large problem and will force the price of doge to rapidly decrease over time. Meaning, that holding your DOGE may actually be a bad thing! Suggestions (NOTE: Do Not Sell Your Coins Because Of This! I am keeping my thousand!) The last block halving of Dogecoin was in February this year, with no real noticeable effect on its value. Don't be a tool though, trade your mined Dogecoins to BTC like everyone else and move on - don't pretend DogeCoin is anything more than a worthless alt.
