This goes for hashflare --- hashcoins.com and hashflare.io ~1+2+3+4+7 => 5/7 = (very) suspicious (user selectable pool requires fee, dc pictures show no miners, linkedin profile doctored, hardware sales very dubious,..) (*now owned by hashflare.io)
In short; 1. No public mining address. 2. No endorsement from any asic vendor. Although they itself are ASIC vendors (hashcoins.com) yet hashcoins had a pretty bad history of not delivering the miners to customers, even delaying refunds for a long time. 3. No relevant pictures of their hardware and datacenter. 4. Risk of fractional reserve mining. 5. No exit strategy after buying one of their contracts.

How are you going to liquidate hash powers of Ethereum mining contracts into X11 mining contracts when it ends its POW phase? Are you going to add merged mining for altcoins. Many multipools are accepting that nowadays and it will also be beneficial for customers. Also adding a profitability calculator for each algorithms would be nicer.

Thanks guys for all of your suggestions.
Well, I would like to ask one more question. Is AMD Radeon R9 270x vapor best for x11 mining right now?
I think it has pretty good hashing power and it is more energy efficient too. Also it is used by Genesis Mining too.
Waiting for your recommendations on it along with its pros and cons.

Not worth the try when you have the red trust. i'm not quite sure but they do have good hunch, the site seem a bit ponzi in a way lol
This is what happens when you start wearing YoBit's signature. You are the 100th person who claimed it is a ponzi even though we already know about it.
|
|
|
Why do you guys have miningsweden.se on the ponzi list? Arent they supposed to be really transparent?
If you feel lazy to go back and read the op, let me explain in short for you: 1. No proof of mining = POOF! 2. No relevant pictures of their hardware and datacenter. 3. No public mining address / no user selectable pool. 4. They are totally anonymous operators. 5. They are selling Antminers but there is no endorsement from that ASIC vendor. 6. Referral programs and social networking. (Look at your signature ) 7. Fractional reserve mining risk. They are selling unlimited number of hardware, even Antminer cannot make so much. 8. No exit strategy. You are one of their shills huh?

I'll try searching for blockchain evidence linking them both
Both of the profile addresses are having 223 and 676 transactions respectively so far. It will be a tedious job to get a link between them. Anyways all the best for your findings
|
|
|
I'd need blockchain evidence/bitcointalk evidence linking them both, for me to classify one as alt of the other. Even I can "confess" that shorena, Ecua , QS , Vod and TC are my alts, which doesn't prove anything. Hope you understood
I have no more evidence than this. I was just betting there as usual and all this incident suddenly happened at once. I did not thought he will open up so easily! He also tried to hide these messages by spamming the chat after I told him that I might open a scam accusation against him. So I quickly took those screenshots and shared here thinking it might help somewhat. Anyways you gotta be careful dealing with him from now on.

I have my wallet set to generate a new receiving address for each transaction. Do the addresses ever "expire"? (i.e. can I save one in another wallet's address book (Electrum) to be able to send back to the Coinomi?)
No. your addresses will never expire and all your addresses will be bind together by a single master public key (xPub key) and is secured by the master private key which is the passphrase shown after opening the app for the first time. But you cannot import Coinomi's recovery phrase on Electrum. I tried it before but it never worked. Maybe my passphrase was password protected or Electrum couldn't recognize the pattern of the phrase. Also, when restoring a wallet, what is a "BIP39 passphrase"? Who would/wouldn't want to use it?
BIP-39 is an added layer of security where your passphrase is protected by another password of your choice so that when you import it you will have to enter that password also otherwise it will not import. But this feature is not available on Coinomi yet. They will be adding it in their next update hopefully Importing standard keys will be available in one of our upcoming versions.

Doesn't matter, it s obvious cloud mining as we know it is coming to its end, at least for small home and medium users. With this galopping diff and upcoming block halving, only a very naive investor would put anything sizable into any cloud, unless you expect and hope for HUGE BTC price jump, more then double.
True but you should not lose hope. Who knows if BTC price will skyrocket after the recent halving? Then obviously more miners will return. Also do not forget if subsequent number of miner goes offline the overall BTC difficulty might also go down AFAIK. Also, trading is a must option, if the cloud does not provide trading and selling option, it s not worth it.
As far as I know bw.com and pow88 are having the trading option. So you can buy and sell hash powers as and when needed. But I prefer bw.com more (after Hashnest) than pow88 because, pow88 is having a suspicious referral bonus of 1% hourly which seems quite fishy.

Gambling will definitely wreck your life. If you are in gambling for a long time you will get addicted to it severely like getting addicted to drugs. There is no way to recover yourself from it.

Have you tried these sites yourself? My first time to hear about this bw.com
I have not tried all except Hashnest and Genesis Mining but if you look at the network distribution oh hash powers you can see bw.com contributing some blocks. ( https://blockchain.info/pools?timespan=24hrs) You can also check out their recent blocks here --- https://blockchain.info/blocks/BW.COMI think they are following the path and strategies of Hashnest although they are pretty new right now. You can give them a try and report here if they are good to be tagged as " legit".

I want to know the best GPU I can buy right now to profit in script mining. I already have Antminer S3s running alongside, mining new SHA-256 coins but I want to run script mining so that I can cover the losses for running my Antminers.
Is there any updated thread here showing the comparison between various GPUs that are profitable for mining script or other algorithms?

I think the only 2 campaigns that accept newbies are 777Coin and BitVest. But BitVest is currently having issues regarding recent payouts to their existing participants. Hope this helps in brief.

Is UNO still mineable in solo mode via my Antminer S3? You need to add UNO on Yobit.net as well. Currently they are having a better traction than Bittrex and Cryptopia. Hope UNO overtakes Litecoin in the long run.

What features make Litecoin different? HolyTransaction just published a new infographic OMNIcoin is pretty much dead by now and the developer had already taken down their blockexplorer. In place of OMNIcoin there should have been Peercoin in that place. Peercoin is much more innovative and sleek coin I have ever experienced Hi, We've added LTC to the miners multipool: www.zpool.caCheers! Your site's front end is probably not opening on my browser. Would you mind telling me the stratum of it? Thanks

Hello Indianacoin, The promo is over but I'm sure we can contact Bitcoin Oyster to get another promo going. We offer a wide range of minable POS and POW coins, you are able to make an informed decision by looking into the various coin here http://steakcloud.com/supported-coins.htmlPayouts run every 24hours and your current shift can be seen by searching your mining address on the pool. Thank you for choosing Steak Cloud and we look forward to having you mining with us. Regards Steak Cloud Support Thanks for the prompt reply. Btw I was mining AntiBitcoins on your pool for about 4 hours approximately. Everything was working OK, my miners were at 100% efficiency and hashing at around 1.06 Th/s. But it was always showing that the value of This shift: 0.00 Can you tell me the reason for not increasing?

First of all I would like to say : Never ever use online wallets that are holding your private keys. Bitcoins never work that way. You have to be the owner of your own wallet.
Now coming to the case, your wallet seems to be changing addresses because the previous address was already used for receiving transactions as you told. So your wallet freshly generated a new address for anonymity. But I think no need to worry and panic about it because all the addresses are generated automatically are all directly linked to a single extended public key block and all your balances will show up if you have send BTC to your correct address. Can you double check if you have entered a wrong address?

Cannot I mine on securepayment.cc? It is showing " Get 0% Block Reward" Also no one is mining there! Or is it gone for good?
Somebody needs to take care of these dead coins and take responsibility to re-bring them to life. Its sad to see a coin named similar to a gold asset is dying so quickly
