561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Major differences between investment and gambling. on: April 08, 2021, 10:43:33 PM
Every type of earning in crypto has a certain risk in it, We can't deny the risk on crypto and it will depend on the method you are using on how much risk you are facing. Well, luck isn't the only factor in betting, There are strategies, techniques, current emotion, and other big factors that can affect the winning chance on your gambling session.  I agree that investment is more on a business-type model and most certainly safe especially if you have the skills to foresee the project's future with your research and analysis.

Unfortunately some other people didn't realize that they're making gambling as investments, but the reality doesn't coincide on their expectations. They're struggling to beat the system of gambling, the emotions was more stressful compared to business investments because losses was too big than risking your money on business.
At least if you're doing business, there's a chance to recover your capital rather losing everything in betting with gambling.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Major differences between investment and gambling. on: April 08, 2021, 07:55:04 PM
A major misconception among gamblers is that gambling is sometimes considered as an investment and investment as gambling.
The purpose of this discourse is to clear the air and state some of the major differences between investing and gambling.
Some differences are;
(a) In investing, you expect moderate returns, whereas in gambling, the returns expected are very high and sometimes very ridiculous.
(b) There is a medium to long term planning in view, whereas in gambling, the returns is in view is short term.
(c) There is a risk involved in investment, but the risk is moderate. The risk in gambling is high.
(d) The motive behind investing is safety of capital and stability of one's returns, while the motive behind gambling is entertainment while making money.

______________
You can add your own differences.

Both are of them involves risk, and when it says investments of course that pertains to a project or with a trading of specific asset. But, when it comes to gambling? Most of the idea comes at betting and no assurance because you're only expecting a luck from that game. Though in sports betting, we're relying on odds of every team who played your favorite sports.
Ideally, a form of entertainment when you're engaging yourselves with gambling not on investments which is only focused with business mindset who expects more profit from risked capital.
563  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we expecting a bullish trend? on: April 07, 2021, 11:28:38 PM
~snip~

BTCUSD chat on a 4H time frame, are expecting a bullish trend or would this market still sell. Am at a junction where my MA is far from the market although its pointing towards the bearish market. I'm seriously contemplating weather to go long or short the market.

Going one time frame higher using the D1 time frame on my mt4 app the market is indicating a strong reversal going towards the bearish market although it's still testing my MA line but once it breaks out i should be expecting a bearish trend. Do u think this market will buy. Let's analyze this please

~snip~

Bearish market might be happening all throughout this month if btc price would gradually decrease from it's current value. I would advise that we need to prepare our additional funds to buy during the dip, because when bullish trend will be reversed towards bear market it's a big opportunity. Most traders who is eager to catch that big drop is currently waiting for that and FUD is now starting to come out and I think they're depending with it.
564  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: April 06, 2021, 11:44:20 PM
Day by day, Bitcoin is getting closer towards crossing the $60k range. The pioneer cryptocurrency has grown in popularity over the past years, becoming an extremely valuable asset that often compares itself to Gold. With Elon Musk, and some companies like PayPal and VISA joining the game, it shouldn't be long enough before BTC reaches new heights. Some experts predict that Bitcoin could go as high as $100k by the end of the year. Others predict that Bitcoin will reach $1m within a couple of years from now.

The question is, how fast will Bitcoin reach $100k? Will the ever-rising demand from mainstream companies and institutional investors make Bitcoin reach this goal in less than a year? Or will it take longer? Given that Bitcoin has reached $60k within a year, looks likely it'll reach $100k by the end of 2021. For what I know, everything is just pure speculation. It's always best to reap profits whenever you see the opportunity to do so before it's too late. If you end up waiting for BTC to reach a new ATH, you might lose it all in an instant.

What are your thoughts? Huh

My thoughts for this, I shouldn't risk my funds just to increase my asset but instead I would recommend to accumulate our holdings by buying more quantities. Long term holding is an appropriate ways to prevent panic by the time btc would increase very fast. If there's a trend that might trigger $100k assurance we can't stop it or you might regret all opportunities during green market pumps, so it's better to keep safe and just holdle.
565  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 04, 2021, 11:47:16 PM
I hate that I cannot save money effectively because our government loves to inflate problems away at the expense of my savings... bitcoin and altcoins are our greatest hope in returning power back to working middle-class people.

your thoughts?

Indeed, we have our freedom to live sustainably because of cryptocurrency. Riches will follow if you're doing your money making independently without being controlled by government, and that inflations was just a crap in times that you're enjoying the wealth that you have from bitcoin.
Freedom always matters, and we will be more richer than rich person if we are free from manipulation of someone who controls the economy.
566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is why April may be the best month yet for Bitcoin price on: April 04, 2021, 10:48:10 PM
The U.S. dollar is starting to weaken once again as sellers are pushing the U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) downward, which could strengthen the momentum of Bitcoin (BTC) in the near term. READ THE COMPLETE ARTICLE HERE: https://worldpublicityblog.com/index.php/2021/04/04/here-is-why-april-may-be-the-best-month-yet-for-bitcoin-price/

Government wouldn't allow this to happen since USD is the foundation of several currencies around the world. Though it sounded weakened, but it keeps on regulating itself against cryptocurrency. Without the power of USD, we can't move forward and experience more demand coming from investors. Bitcoin momentum came from different supports, like trx, eth, doge and other promising coins who also have their different trading pairs.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: April 04, 2021, 09:59:44 PM
When we talk about maturity with the involvement of gambling, I think it can provide awareness to the youth. There's  freedom to choose as age comes to legality as stated by the law. On our local places where gambling is rampantly happening, it's only strict on every range of age but on a registered gambling establishment.
Sad to say, those small time gambling or casual past time gambling bets was played by underaged young people.
How much more with online betting which easily be accessed through internet, without any guidance from parents.
568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Bitcoin Halving in 2024 & Price prediction? on: April 04, 2021, 04:56:12 PM
As per history, we might not determine which exact value bitcoin will fall on 2024, since we already know the volatility of the market. It could be positive or a negative impact in every definite situations, because it just depends on the whales who've invested their fortune with btc.
Without them, and the strong bonds from small investors who've take a ride since from the start of bullrun; we can't make what has been established right now.
If there's a positive outcome in 2024, I guess $100k per btc will commence in this year. But if a bearish happens I would love to see below $20k again once another reversal scenario might take place.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jamel Herring vs Carl Frampton WBO Super-featherweight Title on: April 03, 2021, 11:59:26 PM
~snip~

Date: April 3
Venue: Dubai

These fighters are less popular in the junior light weight division but they also deserve a discussion here. I think the winner of this fight is on a collision course with Oscar Valdez, who recently won the WBC title recently.

What made this fight interesting for me is the almost even betting odds. Bookies are having a hard time predicting a winner so this is a good thing for us, fight fans.

Current betting odds: Jamel Herring 1.93   Carl Framton 1.78

https://www.thesun.ie/sport/boxing/6572923/carl-frampton-jamel-herring-wbo-fight/

Your thoughts on this one.

I would bet for James, because I see a great potential on him to bet Carl. Based on the record he had, though he's not yet that popular for now I believed and trusted his ability to make it. Hopefully other too could choose him for their bets in boxing sports, because this guy would bring us more victory with future matches on his fights.
570  Economy / Speculation / Re: Understanding Bitcoin price as a beginner on: April 02, 2021, 11:46:45 PM
With this kind of thoughts, you’re a long term investor and didn’t mind if the price will enter into corrections because you believe for a better price in the future.

Beginners have to understand how the price works, and used this to create strategies either for short term trade or for a long term trade, as long as you have the plan you can win in this market so keep it up.

Most of the newbies is eager for profit but not taking precautions on every possible crash of bitcoin price. They're really emotional on that worst situations and can't handle stressful times when they tend to lose their asset badly.
Honestly, if it involves a lot of money this is really a very sad thing when hard earned money is risked for bitcoin investments.
Don't get easily fooled by FUD, you might regret when price explodes for another ATH.
571  Economy / Speculation / Re: Despite six months of rising Bitcoin prices, Peter Brent says up to $ 50,000 cor on: April 02, 2021, 10:49:40 PM
Yesterday, Bitcoin closed its sixth consecutive monthly green candle. This trend had not happened since 2013.
The last time the trend was acted like this, Bitcoin price had a 55% correction, from $140 to $62.
Given that Bitcoin is in the midst of confusing acceptance by institutions and traders, it may be argued that this time things are different. However, Peter Brent believes that Bitcoin can still see a "correction of up to $ 50,000" and made fun of the laser eye campaign:
"I will use my laser eyes when $BTC experiences a $50,000 correction and many of you swap your lasers for tears."

Source: https://u.today/bitcoin-just-finished-its-sixth-month-in-the-green-but-peter-brandt-warns-about-50000-correction

Even though he predicted that certain figures of correction, bitcoin wouldn't fall too much below $50k. In fact the latest price movement has higher chances that it would bounce even better in the coming days. We still have that fighting spirit to embrace every fluctuations that continually changes everytime our goals will be meet.
572  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: New Cryptocurrencies Added To Abra :) on: April 02, 2021, 10:14:01 PM
573  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price predictions based on actual data / mathematics on: April 02, 2021, 09:26:01 PM
I didn't hold some particular amount of btc for now because it was too expensive, and currently the price hasn't decline so I preferred to hold some altcoins which I seen to have good potential. Right now I got reef coins and xrp as my main portfolio, and also looking forward for another promising coins that would fill my asset in future trades once bitcoin also go down, I've more chance to invest if it goes cheaper someday.
574  Other / Off-topic / Re: Formula E on: April 02, 2021, 08:55:26 PM
Hello guys,

Do you usually follow Formula E?

What is your opinion on this category of motor sports? Do you think there will be a future?
This year, for the first time, it is an official FIA event.

Who do you think will win the race this year?
I wish it was Da Felix, again.  Cool

There's always a higher potential that motor sports in future will be upheld, because of this is going to be a good alternative for greener earth project. One way of eliminating pollution is by using electric operated cars, so it's been promoted by racing formula E, and I think if Da Felix would win again this year that would be possible. As this sports will be more famous, betting online on this sport would become in demand as future looks brighter.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to get the best odds on sports betting on: April 01, 2021, 11:30:07 PM
The important ways to determine odds is taking all possible step towards every team that you're going to bet with.
Gather all data on every game results in order to find out a preferred analysis, then tabulate them all to have definite prospects.
Always make sure you're a good fan of that sports game, because that's a good formula in achieving your decision making and could help you finding best odds.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: donate with Bitcoin on: April 01, 2021, 10:53:32 PM
~snip~

we all know GiveDirectly is focused on sending aid to African countries.

African countries should thank Bitcoin and Jack Dorsey, and Nigeria should get rid rules of banned Bitcoin.

[/quote]

With this news, I believed this will bring positive impact to African people who've devotedly adopt bitcoin despite of the fact on banning. Let's wait and see how this plans could result in the future, because this amount of donation was too big and I hope this will help this country recover from poverty so their people generates sustainable income through it.
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Buy btc Today and cash out one year on: April 01, 2021, 11:19:07 AM
thats okay if it fuds but bans are serious . whenever there is a country that bans btc the price of btc will fall and what if the ban happen not only on 1 country  . more looses for you before you reacted because you never open the news once in a while . monitoring the market is important and it wont mean that you will be tempted to sell because thats a different case anymore .

Selling our holdings is the last options that we could take in the pressures of every situation. If we allow those deceptive tactics of bigger investors, then they'll really wanted to paid off on banning speculations so they could purchase btc again at cheaper value. Don't let those potential losses to commence, keep an eye and prevent any sort of FUD to influence us in times of difficulties.
578  Economy / Speculation / Re: March has always been best month for BTC with 30% gains the last years on: April 01, 2021, 09:52:20 AM
March has always been best month for BTC with 30% gains last years.

Might be time to buy Wink

Maybe it's good to buy those promising altcoins before deciding on bitcoin while it's price has not yet saturated. If you happen to buy today, we may encounter sudden drop after when we bought at a wrong time. Diversions on other asset can be a good alternative, just to avoid and keep your funds at safer zone.
579  Economy / Economics / Re: How the rich get richer and why it works on: April 01, 2021, 02:59:49 AM
The rich get richer because they are expose to the societies and they have expansion of knowledge or brain in terms of businesse strategies or risk taking in order to get what them want, that is from my perspective and also from environmental observation within my domain.
So but the process whereby the rich working, that is the practical example of activation of success of a wealthy or rich person, because their is a little differentiation between wealthy and Rich,  shall the difference is not really matters for thus discussion, what matters is engagement of the rich at work in order to bring the image of the industry or any sector of life.
In general perspectives, rich or wealthy individuals has no difference in many cases. What's with their current status is their abilities to use their money to create passive income because if huge quantities, so they could afford to lose bigger. They won't worry about the future because they had plenty.
580  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: March 31, 2021, 11:59:15 PM
Having an honest answer towards bitcoin price as of today, I would loved to see it happening. But on the current progress of its price updates, I think that's a difficult thing to see due to well established market which eventually initiate a huge demand in the future, then pump the price so fast which we won't notice we will able to see $100k. Before that, we may experience downfalls until such time we will achieve another ATH history.
