5781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has gambling affected your life in a good way? on: July 15, 2017, 07:59:21 AM
Hi guys!
We always hear stories about people's lifes destroyed by gambling and how gambling affected many people in a bad way.
But as always, the coin has two sides. I am sure that there are many of you whose life was affected by gambling in a good way. You maybe found new friends, made some money and used them for a good cause or bought a gifts for you and your close, or you discover a new world of internet or whatever...
So for once, let's show others the other side of the coin and let's share some good stories and happy-ending connected to gambling!
Yours OshiHugo, Oshi.io casino CM
Gambling are not only give us bad effect in life just like become addicted on it, being greed, being unsatisfied or uncontented and being love money but the thing is it gives us also good effect like it gives us more profit it double our bankroll, it gives us friends, we can brought what we want when we win and we can supply our daily needs. That was the good effect of gambling.

Well I guess the only good thing about gambling that affected my life in a positive way is the experiences that I had from it. My first gambling experience was with my friends. I used to bet all the time on the teams that would win in the NBA and fortunately, I won a couple of hundreds. The next thing I knew is that I went to different casinos and bet money all the time since I knew I was in a winning-streak but unfortunately as time passes by, I started losing. This became my downfall and eventually, I almost got broke. Luckily, I realized that gambling does not make you rich, it only creates an attitude of you going-in and out of it since you want to recover all of your earnings back. I quitted gambling and I treat it as a learning experience to never gamble again.
5782  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: July 14, 2017, 04:01:05 PM
trading is better than investing at other web, because with trading you can learning new skill, then you can upgrade or growing your skill with new experience.

Nothing's better than the other. Both investing and trading are good once the person knows what, when, and how to use them on the right time and place. Preferably, I will choose investing since it can yield me greater profit than trading but the problem lies on the time that it will take. Trading on the other hand is also good but the risk lies on the person you are trading to. Also, there are many scam sites scattered around the internet nowadays. Both methods contain risks but no method is better than the other since it all boils down to your preference.
5783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are you sure that Bitcoin will be operated in the bank in the future? on: July 14, 2017, 12:41:19 PM
What is the essence of banking system since 2009 in the advent of cryptocurrency? It is well known that the globally has new invention which has manifested in our economic systems. Cryptocurrency has became indispensable in this world of humanity, which can be advisable for banks to adhere to this idea so that it could later become visible escrow members.

I don't believe bitcoin will be operated by majority of bank in future because it is a threat to the conventional banking system. At least that's how the top bankers are seeing it. Bitcoin is decentralized and that's what is not acceptable for them. Banks want to control money and government want to control power.

Bitcoin is providing money to the hands of the people and money means power to the government. So neither government nor banks will support free distribution of bitcoin in to the economy. At least they will not openly support it. Instead they will try to launch their own digital money and ask people to invest in it.

Exactly! Here in the Philippines, our Central Bank (BSP) sees bitcoin not as money but as property thus, it is not subject to legal tender. Due to this, government intervention at the moment may seem impossible. As you said since bitcoin is decentralized, if banks control it this would eliminate the chance of everyone earning bitcoin. This would also result to potential price drop and lower investments made. I am sure the government knows this and that is why they avoid it at the moment.
5784  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: What is Bitcoin and how might it be regulated? on: July 14, 2017, 01:25:54 AM
the Indonesian  govemment has not set been able to arrange Bitcoin
because it stiil hit the system.

I agree with you ... the government also can not
operate bitcoin yet

Here in our country, my colleague interviewed the lawyer at the BSP (Central Bank) and they said that the government sees bitcoin not as money, but as property and isn't subject to legal tender. The government does not see it as a threat as of now and that explains the lack of government intervention with it. But they must also consider that its values is significantly high, people use it as a means of trading. They also didn't mention about the websites that lets you convert bitcoin to fiat and that is why I'm having doubts to its regulation in the future.
5785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: July 13, 2017, 11:33:36 PM
First i heard of it was in 2011. Was skeptical until i invested a few years later. Now I wish i invested all I had back then...

Yup, that was the case of my friend who also knew it in 2011 but now he regrets not investing at that time. When I first heard bitcoin from my friend last month ago, I was hesitant at first and I thought that this was a scam of money or a illegitimate website that only gets your money. But when I saw that he earns money through campaign signatures, I joined in a heartbeat. Right now I am earning money due to the campaign signatures and I am just saving all of my earnings since I believe that by the end of the year, bitcoin prices will skyrocket up to 2000$.
5786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: July 13, 2017, 04:32:10 PM
Bitcoin has nothing to do with increase in criminality rate.Criminality was there even before bitcoin was created. It would exist even if bitcoin dies.Criminals would love to use coins like monero ,zcash which are fully anonymous and not bitcoin which is pseudo anonymous.

I would like to disagree. Since bitcoin is one of the leading crypto-currency in the market with a significant amount of fiat if converted to, it has been used as a gateway of criminals for illegal activities due to the identity of the accounts being unknown. Its characteristics also of being unable to track and the lack of government intervention results to criminal activities. Just to give you an example, there have been several cases on illegal transaction involving bitcoin - an example would be the notorious cases of silk road drugs and mt. Gox.
5787  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 13, 2017, 02:58:45 PM
See, this is bitcoin forum, everybody here will assure you that Bitcoin is a great thing to invest in.
I agree with all of them! Get cryptos, brother!

We all trust coins, that's why we're here but you must find the right time to invest your money in crypto world. For example, today is not a good day to enter the market. All coins are RED.

For me investing right now is the best time to invest as the RED mark indicates that price is low and that would be the right time to invest at lower price and price may start going higher in coming days which would be the perfect time to sell those coins.
In my own opinion, it is better to invest your money for example right the other day coins dump. I grab the chance tk buy back because I know this would pump and I hold it in the future. For sure, I can earn more profit so I invest my money.

Yes this is the right time to invest in bitcoins or in altcoins as price is low now and it may pump back in coming days which can give you best profits on your investments in quick time so its better to think of investment at a moment.
yes i am also agree with you that it is the right time to invest your money in bitcoin. i am sure that bitcoin will  give you a good profit but you need to become a little bit patient and wait for some time when the price of bitcoin reach to such a high price.

Every person's decision varies but I prefer saving THEN investing. It is impossible for someone to invest without having the right amount of capital and that is why they go to the process of saving. Now, investing is a decision backed up with research rather than a risk. The outcome of your investment might be good or bad depending on the research that you made and that is why you cannot avoid the risks of it BUT you can at least lessen the potential risk. Investing is a good idea right now since this coming august 1, prices of bitcoin will surely drop due to the split. Many people are anxious that the price will never increase but I look it at as a perfect opportunity to invest.
5788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: July 13, 2017, 06:00:39 AM
For me bitcoin is a second source of income, well the first one is a job. What keeps me here is that i want to earn more bitcoin for future use because many people says the value might get higher but we never know. We must know more about this digital money we're using right now by reading different information so that we can understand it more.

That's also my view about bitcoin. I also think of it as a second source of income due to its high monetary value if converted to fiat. I also see bitcoin as an opportunity to invest in the future since its price is highly volatile and may change in the course of time. Earning bitcoin also not only helps me as a student, but also my family in terms of expenses incurred every month. I use my earnings here and this helps my family on at least mitigating their expenses. To conclude, bitcoin is something that helps everybody achieving a significant amount of income if properly invested.
5789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: July 13, 2017, 01:15:02 AM
hello everyone.
i want to know what do you think about gambling bitcoin.. Does Beneficial or more losses?
Share your story here guys!  Grin Grin Grin

There is nothing wrong with gambling as long as you're doing it responsibly. If you're gambling away your savings or worse, somebody else's money, it can have damaging consequences for you and the people around you. Which is why it can be bad.
For me, gambling is wrong even it beneficial to our life. Gambling is illegal in the public places because of being open and minor become interested on what they see in the adult. I think the reason why it is banned because if we become addicted we can't control ourselves to control those emotions that result bad in the end. And also if the teeneger influence this, they let the studying and become interested in the world of gambling.

In the government's perspective, gambling is not wrong for as long as it is regulated. But in religion, gambling is morally wrong due to the nature of it. I disagree with you saying that gambling is beneficial to our lives. I've known many people who exhausted almost all of their resources just to recover their losses. At the end, they either go broke or commit suicide. Like the latest gambling incident here in the Philippines, that is one significant example of a gambling addict who lost everything and at the end he committed suicide while killing others also.
5790  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: July 12, 2017, 03:41:55 PM
So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?

I have answered this question on a different post and the answer is yes. Before you teach a kid about bitcoin (which is obviously impossible), you must first teach them the value of earning money. They must first know on how to regulate and use their money wisely before they start investing. One way of teaching kids is by telling them to at least do SIMPLE household chores or by cleaning their toys and then buy them what they want. This gives them the impression that before you have something, you need to work hard for it. Again let me reiterate, the chores doesn't need to be complicated and hard, it must be simple yet meaningful. In this way, this helps the kids even more in saving and understanding the value of money.
5791  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: July 12, 2017, 11:06:16 AM
If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house?

Ive been thinking if it went into very high figures i could cash out 80-90% of bitcoin and buy a house outright with no mortgage.  Is that even a good idea though? - basically 80% of networth in a house hmmm.  On the other hand i dont want to have a mortgage and im fed up with renting due to landlords, letting agents and lack of control.

If you are able to earn this much bitcoins that you can afford a house by selling them then off course it is the best idea to sell them and buy your own house without mortgage.

Just go for it! Buy anything that you think that will benefit you till the future. Well, that is why that is one of the reasons on why bitcoin exist, for one to completely take advantage of its monetary value for their benefit. Like what he said, if you have enough bitcoin to provide you a simple mortgage plan then no one's stopping you. But do remember that as time passes by, the prices of bitcoin will increase. I assume that by the end of this year, it may reach up to ~$4000.
5792  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: What do government regulations REALLY mean for Bitcoin? on: July 11, 2017, 10:09:29 PM
So far, is there a clear regulation from the government?
I have not been able to conclude which government regulation is really meaningful for Bitcoin.
Perhaps there is from you an article that shows the government's regulation for Bitcoin?
Thanks
In some countries the laws are really messed up. The most messed up is probably this situation with money transmitting in the USA, as in some states you can be fined for not having a license, and in some other you can trade at will without one. Also they just can't handle these cases like civilised people, but invade people's homes, steal their stuff and treat them like criminals.
I'm happy that the laws in the EU aren't that crazy and you can trade coins without fear.

Actually my friend made a thesis about bitcoin stating all the advantage and disadvantage of it and they even interviewed the BSP (Central Bank) about the regulation of it and its illegality. But our central bank said that they consider bitcoin as property, not money thus not making it not legal tender. Due to this, our country recognizes its use and advantage to the people and also considering it as one of the mediums of exchange. There may be dangers for it like using it for a funding of criminal work but the government now does not see it as a potential THREAT YET.
5793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: July 11, 2017, 02:51:36 PM
Though it may seem that there are difficulties about the investments, I really strongly believe that all these problems will be solved in a short amount of time. New projects like these tend to experience inevitable problems and all we can do is wait and wish them the best of luck.
5794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: July 11, 2017, 04:00:00 AM
Certainly can without any investment can get bitcoin, and there are various ways uintuk get it like working on captcha faucet and trading and mining. Result of these activities can be used for trading and investment of course.

Trading and mining need an initial investment but OP wants to know without any investment. The best one is to join any signature campaign and writing quality comments can get a decent amount of bitcoins compared to wasting time in claiming faucet free coins. As per me faucet claiming is waste of time and shouldn't be wasting your time to get these small amounts of coins.

I really do suggest OP into joining different campaign signatures and try his luck there. I started joining this forum last month and right now, I am earning at least 0.002 bitcoin per week due to the campaign signature that I am in. But the problem is that OP needs to be accepted in a decent campaign signature together with all the requirements and qualifications passed. Once you are accepted, then your journey towards earning bitcoin begins there. It may be slow compared to other ways like gambling etc. but it is reliable and accurate.
5795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: July 10, 2017, 03:49:31 PM
I heard first about bitcoin from my  friend. It sounded interesting and immediately I search for it. I have been a bitcoin addict since that day. I'm very grateful to my friend. He makes me gain a lot of money .

I have the same situation as yours. I first heard bitcoin from my close friend and I thought it was just a random networking scheme again. But when he showed to me his total earnings and money, I got hooked immediately and I kept bugging him for a week just to teach me the basics of everything. Right now, I am earning extra income while studying and if there are opportunities that people ask me about bitcoin, I instantly teach and tell them about everything so that they can enjoy the potentials and wonders of bitcoin.
5796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: July 10, 2017, 03:10:16 PM
Gambling basically is an entertaining segment but day after day it has become an addiction. Gambling is severe addiction to some people, it's not easy to give up gambling on a sudden. It's really challenging those people who are addicted to it, but strong determination could be useful to stay away from any addiction.

You need to be strong mentally if you have to quit gambling. Its not easy in the beginning, but as you learn to control your emotion to gamble then chances are you can quit it for good. I see a lot of people quit from gambling, so I'm sure that I/we can also quit as well. We just have to fight our cravings from it.

This reminded me of a friend who got addicted to smoking and eventually, killed him due to cancer. Gambling and any other vices or hobbies are nothing more than addiction. They might differ from each other in terms of nature but the long-term effects of it are all disadvantageous to people. Like you said, getting out of your addiction is not an overnight process. It will take a lot of time and determination to be able to totally stop your addiction to these vices. If right now you are addicted to gambling, then I suggest that you consider stopping as it may ruin your future.
5797  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with my bitcoins ? on: July 10, 2017, 02:23:39 PM
Hello everyone,
I would like that each one participates in sharing the different sites shopping online (International) that accept the bitcoin, as well as different ways to spend BTC, thank you.

I think it would be better if saving and holding to make a purchase with bitcoin, with very high bitcoin prices would be better if it could be used to do business like trade and investment, but that's just your advice and your decision right to decide.

I agree with him. Bitcoin prices are very volatile and are subject to change in time. There is also always the potential of the price increasing and I do also think that by the end of the year, prices will rise up to ~4000$. This coming August 1, prices of bitcoins might be low and I really do suggest that people buy and invest coins right now. Going back, there are a lot of things that you can do with your bitcoin since it holds high monetary value. You might also want to consider converting it to fiat if you need to pay the bills or etc. or you also might want to test your luck and gamble it (which I really do not suggest).
5798  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: July 09, 2017, 05:11:29 PM
Well obviously, you do not teach kids about bitcoins and other stuff that involves complex procedures due to the nature of them. Teaching them these kinds of stuff will get you nowhere since what's important for them at this early age is their own happiness and the stuff that gives them satisfaction BUT there is always a way to teach them the basics. The idea behind is that you do not teach them directly about bitcoins but you teach them the proper attitude of handling money. For example, if they want to buy something like a toy or a candy, they need to earn it first by cleaning their toys' mess or helping their mom with simple tasks. It does not need to be hard but the idea is still there. It might be different from teaching bitcoins but it helps them properly handle their money and also by EARNING it. Once they have matured, then that is the time to exposed them to bitcoins. The good thing here is that before you explain them everything by investing, they already have the proper attitude on handling and earning money. The context might be different but the idea is the same.

This huge block of text sums up to: "Teach your kids how to manage money by making them earn it through small tasks." Really, though? Your kid has to clean the house before he can ever have money? Well congratulations to you for having small maids. Congratulations for having your very own slave. Kids aren't meant to do these things because they are just kids. They have to focus 100% on learning new things in life. Kids wouldn't appreciate what you're doing to them. At some point your kid might even think that he's being enslaved.

Your kid will grow up thinking that every thing has to have something in return. Once they helped somebody else, they would always expect money. Even when they are helping a friend, they will expect the friend to do something about it but life isn't like that. Life isn't fair. You do something good to someone, you don't know if he's going to pay back. Your kids will be devastated when they found out about that.

You don't seem to understand my point then, what I am telling is that you teach your kids the basic manners and attitude in the household before they earn something. Also, it does not mean that if you have MAIDS inside your house, you'll rely on them fully. The example that I gave is about properly cleaning the toys that they used and not complicated household chores like washing the dishes or any. I was brought-up by my parents that I need to work first before I earn something and it helped me being a patient and hardworking person. Though it may vary, but the idea is still there.
5799  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: July 09, 2017, 04:33:05 PM
Hi, I am looking for a way to earn some money without invest(because I am broke), I can dedicate 2 hours a day in that. what can I do to make a bitcoin per month without any investment?

2 hours in a day? I don't think so buddy, you need to burn the candle at both ends before you can at least earn 1 bitcoin. Do you have any skill or ability that you can offer for people? You can always look at the marketplace for available services that you may take-up on. You also can join various campaign signatures, but that will take a lot of time and effort to be able to achieve it. There is always the option of gambling but I really don't suggest it since it may further worsen your situation. Try looking for a decent job and then use the income that you receive so you can invest here. Lastly, you can't get the best of both worlds, meaning you really need to be patient and determined to be able to reach your goals.
5800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: July 09, 2017, 10:49:45 AM
Yes, many peoples are choosing bitcoins for their source of income.Earning money through bitcoin is morethan earn on a normal job. so many peoples are leaving job and doing earning bitcoins their own ways.

In my opinion. it is considered one of the best source of extra income while working. I disagree with people leaving their jobs and pursuing bitcoin since having a job tends to develop your skills and abilities more. Bitcoin can be a sideline for them to earn extra money while working but if they are going to leave their jobs for this, then there is the potential of risk losing it. The biggest advantage of bitcoin for me as a student is I earn money while studying. This helps me in my day-to-day expenses while also helping my parents. All of us have different use for bitcoin but in the end, it positively helps us all and brings endless opportunities in the future.
