65 billion coins at 400+ satoshi?
This could be one hell of a hard floor to maintain post ico
I think you need to read the OP

Hey, quick question, I've already purchased .5 bitcoin worth of Syscoin. If I want more will Moolah just add them to my account, or should I let them know beforehand so they don't issue two wallets?
Please walk through the form on the Moolah site a second time. You will get a new BTC address to send funds to, do NOT send the funds to the same address as the first purchase. They will add it to the first order and you will only get one wallet. That or you can request a keypair and import it into the first wallet.

also would my calculations be correct to say that with an initial 300m coins after the ipo @ a price of 0.00000465 x 300m = 1395BTC (830k USD)
so we would be buying in at a price around 830k usd market cap?
There are a number of talks in the thread about this. We have a 944k USD initial market cap if the presale sells out entirely (Based on Phase 2 @ 518 sat ). Less if not. realestmofo did up a spreadsheet here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=587080.msg7999692#msg7999692additionally, im seeing a whole pile of old school marketing and promoting, with little evidence of coding or current state, could you provide more than 1 image of some circled code?
Check out the OP for a video of Syscoin Certificates.. Under Proof Of Development Progress.. (Direct link here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7HczUeEXeQ) The features listed in this preann are all complete and awaiting launch, we are in the progress of making more videos and will be releasing these as soon as possible.

ipo price is rather too high, arent early buyers supposed to benefit, bigger gains could be made buying another altcoin... nothing but small gains for investors and big gains for the greedy dev team
Here is the thing, we are not just another altcoin. I suggest you read through the OP, see the innovations we are introducing and then make up your mind. Wont the blockchain be absolutely massive in short time ~100gb
Please see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=587080.msg7964987#msg7964987In addition to the large blockchain question, does moolah actually personaly know the syscoin team? If not, whats stopping them from delivering the goods, then accepting the 1000btc and just completely dissapearing? I mean 1000btc is hard not to get greedy about
Well it would be a bit hard since we are using real names . Checkout http://syscoin.org/#team

hi,
just a question popped in mind, your projected btc is 1500. If you can only make up to 500btc by the end of last date, does that mean you will still distribute the whole 15% between these investors, or you will lower the percentage of this distribution?
thanks
Well, we say do UP TO 1500BTC as you said. From the OP Q: What if the presale doesn't sell out? Do buyers get the unsold Syscoin? A: No, only what is purchased will be premined and delivered. Buyers get what they pay for.

Which programming language do you use the most? cpp?
Myself : Mainly c# these days.. Used to do a lot of assembly and c++, but was mainly for hardware coding. More high level stuff now and business/web related. As for the others, I'll let them speak for themselves.

In other news. the numbers seems to be picking up. 302.93863753 / 465 in phase 1 of the pre-sale. Around 29 hours to go or so.

When will there be a public ledger available?
Should be finished shortly. Does he mean block explorer? So this (and rich list?) would be available before IPO ends? A simplistic block explorer will 100% be available at launch. A more feature rich one if time permits. Moolah is working on a public ledger.

I am following this project for many days and had came to an conclusion that this is very nice project but there is One problem and that is the price ,it is too high if we compare with total number of coins (2,000,000,000).In my opinion they should decrease the price .
Thank you.
Well that is your opinion as you say. See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=587080.msg7966865#msg7966865

... Looks like the block reward has been changed to lower number of coins than the initial decision? thanks ....
That is correct, we changed it based on the very good feedback we got.

Ha indeed Actually not a bad video

Questions to the devs: --how long have you been working on this project? And could you briefly describe your planned time commitment to this going forward? --how does the coin production/distribution setup provide insulation from the risk of massive miner/whale dumps? Is there an estimate out there of the max # of daily BTC trading volume that might be needed to absorb mined coins? --how will delivery be verified. Is there a disinterested third party that will verify the guaranteed-or-refund features are 100% delivered (marketplace, certificates, name aliases, and data aliases) and work well? --what immediate plans do you have beyond delivery of these core guaranteed features to further increase the value of the coin/network? --along those lines, are smart-contracts/prediction markets/futures/options things you plan to implement, or can see being (fairly quickly) implementable into this framework? --what do you consider the three biggest uncertainties regarding development implementation (either with core or future-beyond-core features)?
Good questions. But will need some thought (And internal discussions) before answering. Will get back to this one asap. But good questions to ref as you suggested.

Thanks again for all the positive words, must admit its nice to come back and see 3 new pages of positive content ! Will be around later tonight to answer more questions- great one regarding market/seller rep! I hope you guys have a plan (including the FAQ in the OP) for dealing with the next inevitable wave of FUD that always comes with success. Oh we are ready (have not forgotten about the ideas you gave us). Always going to have haters, nothing you can do about that.

Always hated the way SMF did tables. Again thanks to Traderberg for your input THis should be stickied on the main post! Aye, just adding the based on 518sat to it and then Dano will put it there in a bit

I tried searching this thread and the whitepaper, but couldn't find much discussion of any reputation system for the syscoin marketplace. What good is a markeplace without a rep system? Any plans for one?
Coderboo/Dano will answer this one.

Hey, sorry to pushing the same topic again and again. Just wanted to make sure the math is right. I assume that the block time is constant (60 seconds) and therefore 1440 blocks are mined daily.
Sorry, mad busy today.. Yes block time is indeed constant UPDATED: Mining Reward Schedule Days @ Reward Level | Cumulative Days | Ends @ Blockheight | Block Reward | Coins mined daily | 180 | 180 | 259200 | 128 | 184320 | 360 | 540 | 777600 | 96 | 138240 | 720 | 1260 | 1814400 | 80 | 115200 | 1080 | 2340 | 3369600 | 64 | 92160 | 1440 | 3780 | 5443200 | 48 | 69120 | 1800 | 5580 | 8035200 | 40 | 57600 | Rewards are 32 per block after height 8035200, until the 2bil coins is reached. red data was corrected by me (mistake: in the 2nd line the # of blocks was written instead of the block height). green data was added by me. Yes that is correct, Dano will fix this as soon as time permits (He has not had a chance to get on the thread today just yet).
