You know LTC has finally arrived when they try to take it down!
Apparently... I never though someone would consider it a threat.

btw nice to see that somebody uses my logo contest contributions Smiley

Have you read the wiki?  I've never read anything more slanted in my life.  Someone fears litecoin.

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Litecoin

Is this yours?  I just found it on the webs.  I'll remove it if you like.

Second largest trade in Gigamining history just took place @1.041. https://glbse.com/asset/view/GIGAMINING  Someone know something we don't?  Shocked

teramining bonds are changing from 25mh/s to 100mh/s Smiley

This is not correct. Teramining will be a 25Mh/s per bond.

I think he meant one giga + .25 BTC = 100mh/s Smiley

586  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] USED/NEW GPU mining rigs. on: July 21, 2012, 09:14:24 PM
Hello, I'm wanting to buy some used/new GPU rigs. (i.e., 6950s, 7950s, 7970s, et cetera)

Please pm or email me with what you have and how much it is.  Pictures would be the awesome.

Please do not post your rigs in this thread or I'll lock it and start a new thread.

Budget

$0-$1k USD

I also have glbse assets and/or btc to trade.

I'm relatively new here and this is my first mining purchase so sorry for being noobish and I hope you'll bear with me.  I have outstanding reputation on other forums that I can provide links to prove my rep is good and too verify who I am.
My email is:

Email correspondence is preferred over this crappy pm system we have here on the forums.

I'm not looking for those with sentimental attachment to their rigs.  I'm just looking for a machine that runs.  So if you need some cash, btc, glbse assets please let me know what you have.

Specs a must.

Cheers!
587  Other / Meta / Re: Litecoin child board? on: July 21, 2012, 05:35:34 PM
The threads in "Alternate cryptocurrencies" are now about 75% Litecoin. Is it time to create a dedicated child board?

+1

I was thinking the same thing.
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is litecoin a good idea? on: July 20, 2012, 10:51:57 PM
Litecoin can act as a backup of Bitcoin!  ;-)
What about idea that Bitcoin can act as a backup of Litecoin? ;-)

Don't see that happening until there are major sites that accept payment with litecoin.  Litecoin really needs some promoting or press.  I doubt many people are even aware of litecoin outside of the bitcoin community.

Hate to say it but Litecoin needs a silk road to happen or something of the like. (wikileaks, et cetera)
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DDOS ATTACK IS OVER, LITECOINPOOL IS BACK ON BABY YEAHHHHHH on: July 20, 2012, 07:28:59 AM

if GLBSE is short on operating capital they could raise it through their own platform

Seriously, let us all own it.  Stock SALE!!!!!
596  Economy / Securities / Re: BS&T -- Are you staying or leaving? on: July 10, 2012, 03:29:31 AM
This is one place where good old Mr. Ockham actually becomes useful.

Brother Occam never practised what he preached. He was a theologian and he asserts that the simplest explanation is the more likely? Hah! I wonder how he fitted religion into that concept. Bloody monks. Never useful.
"God did it."
Three words, very simple.

Of course, if you apply Occam's razor mathematically, things become a lot different…

IPO is live with 5000 bonds for sale @ 0.1 BTC

This is funding an expansion of a short term, high interest (fiat) micro lending & debt buying business. Assessment of continuing feasibility will be conducted on July 15th, 2012, and if all looks well, additional bonds will be released @ 0.1 BTC

This type of business took a spanking during the 2008-09 economic downturn, but default rates seem to have bounced back to near-norms. The main issue affecting the size of coupon payouts will be volatility of BTC exchange rates.

Coupon payouts will likely begin tomorrow evening.

Thank you.

Why won't you say who they are?  How would we actually know if they defaulted?

I might as well send BTC to some random bitcoin address.

"Well "they" defaulted guys.  Sorry about that." lol.

Agreed - I'd probably take a small position in this if:

1. I knew where the money was going.
2. I had a cutthrough guarantee of the ultimate recipiant of the funds.

It's amazing to me that he's totally ignoring our concerns and issues.  Yet another RED FLAG!
598  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: July 10, 2012, 01:45:28 AM
All I know is I hate to see those divs for the coming weeks.  Quite a drop.

It's got me thinking whether I should buy or wait.  I still see a drop in price happening.  Wait!
599  Economy / Securities / Re: Multiple Orders and Availablity and GLBSE on: July 08, 2012, 11:53:04 PM
Edit: Also if you have ideas for good changes for GLBSE please feel free to hijack this thread.

Or the existing thread would be just fine.

Well than why didn't you post it to begin with? Smiley
