long term..? if what you mean with long term is 10-20 Years i can say "Of course Yes".
but I doubt for 30-100 years. bitcoin can dead like other old technology.
From a point of view wheels cars were invented several decades ago and yet still have not been replaced, In this case remain to be improved, To name old technology to BTC It is not very appropriate and perhaps not very fair , So it could be just a figment of the imagination, Otherwise there is a risk every invention could called old technology just one second after it be invented, Another example is the shoe while it is different the meaning is the same.  |

What the hell! It has gone down to $397! At this rate I fear it will reach $300 pretty soon. And time to recover this sloppy slope is huge! It's nothing, really. Not sure why you get soo negative just because the price is dropping a few bucks. It's just normal market action. Agree, These small fluctuations are "normal" the price is in 411 again. |

The value of bitcoin is expected to reach $500 by the mid 2016. This value will be stable for a long time as now we have a stable value around $425.
I do not know how high the bitcoin price will go. But it will be much higher than $500 after halving. Maybe the price will be $800. Agree, It looks likely. |

I loved to see the price to 250 again, so i could massively buy more bitcoins. However. It seems clear to me we've established a new low
around the 300 USD mark. So no way we can get to 250 USD.
No kidding. A price of $250 would creat a situation of panic buying for me  If the price fell from $400 a $250 It would not be good time to buy, Because such a fall would not be good sign but hardly a price below of $400 could be. |

I'm waiting for it to reach at least $480 in the coming month before halving as then even if it drops it should not go below $350-$370 which was the price last month as well. I am not excited with these small increments as I have just 2 - 2.25 BTC which I bought at $410 last month.
Then you must go for as long as possible, I mean if it hit $480 you should consider staying instead of selling those. |

30 days is too short time for such a huge price rise, even with best scenario, it won't rise to 1200$ in just a month, it will take some time for sure

The price has fallen even lower now, the price has dropped to $400. I really hope that the price rises back up to $430.

I began my career in the bictoin . In 2010 the bitcoin was worth 0.01 euro , now a bitcoin worth 400 euros. I ask myself a question: what will be its value in 2020 ?. A friend told me that its value will be 10,000 euros. Sorry for the spelling for I am french . Thank you for your replies  |

well, this question is keeping me away from sleep  i bought a good stack of ETH when it was around $0.7. i have made good gain so far but wondering if this was just a short pump. when the price collapsed 25% yesterday i was sure we will see $1.xx again soon, but surpisingly the price recovered again. Not sure, but will sell all when price drops under $4 again. The price seems stable but please remains cautious, nothing prevents that it return $1 again. |

With ETH around it looks difficult, but maybe.
If there is no fresh money coming to the crypto currency, litecoin and Ethereum are competing for the limited funding. It is difficult to achieve high price. This isn't true or the insane explosion in eth volume would have hurt btc price. It seems that there is fresh money but is very soon to say it 100% because it can be only a pump, On the case of BTC it is strong, But yes litecoin and Ethereum will keep competing for the second place. |
