I feel my bankroll management and savings all are highly unstable. Can go up or down by storing money in bitcoin to gamble. Some form of betting like poker requires good bankroll management and with value changing everyday, I don't see bitcoin as a good use for poker players and sportsbettors.
I dont think that the gamblers will see the bitcoin price and gamble. Even in bankroll management also you dont see price but how much bitcoin you are betting is only calculated. So what you are telling are not the correct way of using bankroll manage in sports betting or poker betting also. Decent team is afraid of dump that's why they are continuously ignoring the question raised by people of distribution. They should release the bounty and then let the market evolve more steadily which will stabilize it. It can happen for the Temporary time until the Bitcoin problem is not solved then the Bitcoin which gets strong support will bounce back and will be leading it back. Like ETH first it went down and after some time it bounced back and created new ATH that everyone knows it.
I am not sure bitcoin will manage to overcome such a thing as a hard fork. Especially if both versions will have many miners on their side. That would mean there btc would be at least two times less powerful and that will make eth better if of course it does not lead to the death of cryptoworld because of major panic and thus result in economic crisis. So what you mean is that what ever happening is to just kill the bitcoin and rise the ETH popularity but i dont think that big whales will make Bitcoin die. If the Segwit2x implementation gets success then their wont be necessary for hardfork thus it will make Bitcoin more strong and the price will go up. I don't like this split. it's so freaking bringing nightmare in bitcoin world. when segwit comes much better if you read the news here that you should withdraw all your bitcoin before august 1 in order to avoid error something like that it's better to ready than sorry right ? chain split is the most hard thing to accept that happening in bitcoin. but with the help of segwit we can minimize the transferring of funds .
For now the bitcoin is going down because of that several news and other currency is going down too because of that. I think it is more okay if they will not make a change with the bitcoin because it is really doom for all of us holders. But it is really happening and in my situation I will hold my coins no matter what is going to happen. Split of Bitcoin will be only done if Segwit2x is failed then they will go for hardfork and then the bitcoin will be splitted and which bitcoin will survive will take over the other coin. If the Segwit2x is success fully loaded then we wont see bitcoin getting split and then the price will burst high and who ever have sold in low will be back crying for selling coins in low. |

But if you are here for long term investment then its good to buy back bitcoin again. Because I speculate that the price will rise once Segwit2x activation is successful.
What you are telling is true but if the Segwit2x is failed then they will do hardfork next which will split the bitcoins and then which bitcoin network is stable that will capture the market , so that is why the users are afraid of it and their is also good chances of the Bitcoin price going down if that happens. |
