581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: January 05, 2020, 09:56:10 PM
Very often, the reason for the immediate drop in price after listing on exchange is bad token policy. A very large number of tokens for airdrop, bounty campaign and distributed to people for free at events means that in a bad market situation it is enough that even a small number of owners change their mind and at the moment of sale sharply lower the price. I think tokens distributed for free or in a bounty campaign should be blocked for a few months to avoid dropping the price right after the listing event.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: December 26, 2019, 04:25:30 PM
The current falldown in the altcoin market is also caused by the correlation between ETH and altcoins. The bearish market is not going to make it zero but the delaying bull market squeezes the strong investors too. In my prediction, next year ETH price will trade around the $400. The highest resistance is at the $1400 price, IIRC.

$400 is very likely in 2020, but a lot depends on two things: whether the Ethereum hardfork will be at the planned moment and will succeed, and when the bull run will come for the Bitcoin price.
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When next bull run happen?? on: December 25, 2019, 05:58:27 PM
I completely agree. In 2020, you should not expect a price explosion. 2020 will be a year when you just have to sit and wait. I hope we can handle it)
sit and wait? can you do it I hope there will be a pump to help each of my investment assets have a better value? but I won't just wait. I would rather spend my time with altcoin and daily trading because it is more exciting than having to wait for a pump for a long time.

If you are a trading expert, then the bull run period is a great time for you to earn money. However, statistics say that the large majority of daytraders lose. For normal investors who are not familiar with daytrading, a much better solution is to buy and wait patiently.
584  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware: fake XRP airdrop scam currently going on on: December 25, 2019, 05:31:28 PM

They do not have time to check the credibility of the words spoken by people in all videos. They mainly deal with copyrights and react to fraudsters probably only when they are informed by the police. Unfortunately..

Impossible, if they could flag thousands of "copyrighted" videos and dish out strikes.

Previously there was a scam channel reported on this forum which was terminated.

I don't think a few votes are enough to close the channel. I think either they need more votes or they need more time for verification.

It's still up, last streamed 4 days ago.

And so is this channel! Dunno what's going through YouTube's mind.

587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When next bull run happen?? on: December 24, 2019, 12:03:10 PM
Halving is the obvious thing that everyone is talking about, but I'm sure that we won't see a sudden increase exactly when halving happens - most likely it has already been (or is currently being) priced in. Everyone expects an increase, and buyers and sellers are both aware of that.
Both buyers and sellers are aware and they will looking for new updates that will bring impacts to entire market. Halving have the effects though it's not being felt yet as speculation still waiting for uprise movements before placing more investment inside the market. Bull run still unsure but it will happen.

The bull run will come someday, but it seems to me later than everyone else thinks. Prices always start rising after halving and I think this time it will be similar, but when it comes to the bull run itself, I think we will have to wait until 2021.
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin bubble by 2023; capitalization up to 150 times, a research suggests on: December 24, 2019, 09:57:11 AM
It seems to me that his calculations are based on the fact that after halving, Bitcoin price should start to grow faster and on the whole cryptocurrency market should start new, much longer and several times larger than the last bull run. Theoretically, Altcoins prices should start rising with the price of Bitcoin.
However, this is only a very optimistic theory. It is enough that something unexpected happens and the bear market will last another two years. Anything could happen.
in any case with halving, the situation in the price will change, but do not forget that, if desired, any states or billionaires can change the price as they like

Until market capitalization increases whales will definitely try to manipulate the market. However, notice that halving will reduce the "reward" for finding the block by half, and this is once again. At the beginning reward was 50 BTC, now it will be only 6.25 BTC. This will reduce the supply on the market, and let's not forget that demand is still growing. The price just has to go up.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: December 24, 2019, 09:05:42 AM

I suspect the same thing that beginning in 2020 there were no changes that were so good later. Many things must be done at Christmas with no small cost. Everyone will celebrate the big day which is carried out everywhere.
I think after the update, the new market will experience growth. it could happen but it might not. although some altcoin updates that have happened for some time have not worked. I think if there is a bitcoin in the focus the market will experience movement. we will see how the market will move or not after the update from bitcoin in the next year.

Not so promising in my opinion right now and you can see for yourself things that are not much different will happen later. The end of the year will pass and no changes have been seen until now. The sun is delayed to rise

This delay will be longer than we think. At the beginning of the year, no one will make large investments, because everyone will be waiting for the end of the tax year. I think we will see the first rays of the sun  in March or maybe even April.

I am not sure if this will happen, but Admin on the official TLS group channel on Telegram said that bounty rewards will be distributed today 24th December.
Fingers crossed!

593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance vs. Coinbase - The Most Popular Crypto Exchange on: December 20, 2019, 09:59:45 AM
However, I feel safer on Coinbase. Coinbase also has a more user friendly dashboard for me.
Neither of the two isn't safe especially if you're fond of storing funds on these third party sites.

Haven't use of coinbase ever since as it's restricted here in my country but even it isn't I'd still go with binance. More coins and tokens are listed in there in which you can maximize their liquidity.

I do not know how to explain why I feel safer on Coinbase, but I think it is because it is longer on the market and I use their services longer.
I'm not a trader, so I'm not interested in the number of pairs. You may be right, but I feel more confident on Coinbase. You can call it instinct, or just private comfort, but these are my feelings.

I see that you don't have neg trust yet, so you'd better stop advertising these scammers. Before you start promoting a project, it will be better to check it carefully. Not only will you not receive anything from them, but you can get a negative trust for promoting scam project:

I didn't open link shortener from youtube because im afraid of some malware, but it looks like it is this same scam:

http://www.airdropxrp.com/

They opened a thread to promote this in the Marketplace section as an Airdrop: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5210996.0
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance vs. Coinbase - The Most Popular Crypto Exchange on: December 20, 2019, 01:30:13 AM
For me, the most important difference (because I'm a very small investor) is that up to 2 BTC you don't need to pass verification on Binance. At Coinbase, practically everyone needs to pass this verification. In my opinion, Binance also has much lower commissions. However, I feel safer on Coinbase. Coinbase also has a more user friendly dashboard for me.
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] Notarin Motors – $300,000 - payouts in USD on: December 19, 2019, 07:11:08 PM

Is this reward real? am finding it difficult to believe that participants will earn this much in this campaign, between where is the signature code? and i don't see anyone lining up to join the campaign, this is too good to be true Smiley

If the budget is big enough and the number of participants is small, then it can succeed.

Unfortunately, but it looks like there are still no signatures, so even if the rates are real, the campaign is not active.
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] TLSGROUP.IO - CRYPTOCURRENCY INVESTMENT FUND on: December 19, 2019, 06:05:14 PM
So on the official telegram group Admin says that during token sale was collected $50 000

I think then, we can not even dream about that token will be listed on some new exchanges.
Sorry to say, but I'm starting to worry that this project will disappear in a moment.

how do I trust you if this project is not a scam, You yourself as a campaign manager have a negative trust, please prove that your project is not a scam, You might want to explain the following thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5209730.0

If a project can be so lazy to come up with their own white paper that they have to result to plagiarize another person's work such project should not be fully trust, there are a lot or freelancer writers that will right a good white paper with less fees, lets hope they will be willing to defend the scam accusations on them, if they care about this project and it's reputation then they don't have any choice.

It's not just about Whitepaper plagiarism. When you open the thread in the scam accussation section you will see that this scam is also made up of fake people and stolen photos from Fiverr
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you use an anonymous payment system? on: December 15, 2019, 04:57:48 PM
As much as I would like to have and engage in something like this, it is unfortunate that it is nearly impossible as there is not country which will support that. We can see the case of set back and rejection the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are getting from the government bodies.

You don't need a country to accept this type of transactions. If it would be created similar to decentralized exchanges, then being an anonymous creator no one would be able to determine one owner, because it would be anyone who would use this system. However, the danger is that the creator would have access to the transferred funds.
