581  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: June 17, 2017, 07:04:32 AM
Because the majority of bitcoin users hold bitcoin for speculative purposes so when there is a big drop and/or bear trend it is as if bitcoin has lost its usefulness to those people, in other words it died.

The reality is however that such analysis is short sighted because a rebound nearly always happens sooner or later due to bitcoins other uses not limited to its speculative value.

But mostly, because the people who do not has that knowledge heard someone on an interview or read an article that there will be a dump that will happen or something that will affect tge price of bitcoin. Some just scare people so they will panic about it, selling their coins and then after a dump, the one who said that there will be a dump buy bitcoin for their profit.

585  Economy / Economics / Re: could bitcoin be replaced by another crypto currency? on: June 14, 2017, 12:23:23 AM
Bitcoin will always have its place in the cryptoworld but its dominance is going to be replaced soon. Ethereum is currently the top contender but if not that then next year something else will probably rise up.

I haven't been here long, but from my research, I don't see bitcoin being replaced because of how long it took to get to this point. There might be other alt coins that reach the same price. And maybe in time they will have as many transaction as bitcoin. But bitcoin is the oldest and I think people will always respect that.

It is the mst poular and used digital currency of the world, if you say digital currency, one word will come up in your mind, Bitcoin. Ethereum has a good future before it, it will be the first altcoin that will follow the footstep of bitcoin to it's fame and price. But it will never replace bitcoin, never even a lot of years will pass. Bitcoin will stay bitcoin.
586  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to 5,000 $/btc ? on: June 13, 2017, 10:51:03 AM
Is it possible to reach 5,000 $ /btc this week or next week ?

Nah! I don't even think we can get to that price in July or August. It may be possible before the end of this year because I strongly believe 2017 is the year for Bitcoin.

Yeah, that may take another 2 years before it reaches that big price, it reaches $3000 price but it just go back to normal. It can't stay in that price maybe because the users are being happy with that price and selling their bitcoins because it is a good price and profit.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving bitcoins on: June 12, 2017, 11:46:10 PM
If I decided to save bitcoins in bank, how will deposit rate be changed compared to dollar or other currencies? Will it have much lower percent?
Actually, savings bitcoin for many other's people are very profitable, just way back when bitcoin dropped at 200$ now those bitcoin
enthusiast who bought a huge of bitcoin by that time are now harvesting their fruit of decision of choosing that things.

They are different from the investors now, that time the price of bitcoin is so low you can buy a whole lot of them, especially the very first ones who invested on the release of bitcoin where it vmcan be bought in cents. Now the price is at $2600 and it is really hard to determine if you will be having a good profit or a big loss from the big price you've invested.
588  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: June 12, 2017, 12:19:46 PM
Stable Income ? Try to invest btc , you will had Your own risk of it

How can bitcoin become a stable income? We all know that bitcoin is volatile, it changes it's price every minute, not only that, it can also be affected by many happenings that might be a result to to a price dump. Bitcoin is a high risk investment, if you really need a stable income, get a job, and focus on it.
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: June 12, 2017, 09:54:16 AM
I know bitcoin about 8 months ago (when the price of approximately $850), then I buy 1.5 btc and already I'm selling everything when the price reaches $1400, it was a lot of people think the price will drop, I'm regret.

That is so good for you, though you sold your bitcoin very early, well, it cant be undone now, the good thing is you know that you have your own a profit, that is good enough. I knew bitcoin longer than you knew it, the time I knew bitcoin, it is in $650 and still dropping, until it reach the $750 price. The thing is, I do not earn through these Forum, I earn some by answering Captchas and faucets.
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin? on: June 12, 2017, 04:53:24 AM
While Bitcoin there are a few scaling options, it appears that a number of Bitcoin investors have been switching to Altcoins, and may not switch back to Bitcoins any time soon .
What will happen if investors continuously switch to altcoins? Will bitcoin crash ?

You have a point that many investors are switching to altcoins because of its new features, ETH was an example of those altcoin mostly swtiched by the investors, after it's split, it made a huge comeback and now following bitcoin to it's price, the problem is, bitcoin is still the same as we know it, it needs to be improved, high fees and slow confirmation, that is the problem.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: June 12, 2017, 01:08:27 AM
Not sure but I think experience gives close to none advantage in such luck based games like dice etc. Sure thing it won't harm but knowledge about for example, martingale systems and the fact that its not working cant be called experience, its just knowledge.
So I think is much better to know what is what, know the theory than have experience.
Such games of chances are in nature very unpredictable and chaotic, nothing can give a good advantage in those.
Absolutely true...
Experience can nothing add with any value in the luck based games, yes, experience can bring some knowledge about the operational interface nothing else, experience can help you to take decision based on the previous statistics, so it can't bring any positive results until your luck support you, so I think, experience doesn't make any positive sense in gambling..

Well, experienced gamblers don't fall victim to the "gambler's fallacy" and they've probably learned their lessons with the martingale systems....So, experience does matter in some cases, even in games based purely on chance.  And, that's not even mentioning that experienced gamblers have learned how to manage their bankrolls more effectively.

you hit it right mate! experienced gamblers don't get fell victim with some winning streak and they stop according to their plan even if there is some very enticing winning streak right on the front of their eyes. Managing bankroll and sessions is the best way to go to mitigate risks.

So what are their goals to gamble? They just gamble to manage a bankroll is that what you are saying? They gamble to win, and how can a gambler know if he/she will be winning a streak, is he a clairvoyant? You can say that. Gamblers goal is to win their bets, they can just control themselves .
592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: June 11, 2017, 10:56:12 PM
In my personal opinion, I think the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin is the time of transaction confirmation and transaction costs. Most transactions if want to be confirmed quickly, it will have a very high cost and that cost makes us feel scared to face. If we do not want to spend too much on transaction fees, we can only wait, wait and wait, sometimes a few hours or days, depending on the volume of the transaction. This really is the terrible problem with us, it is also an obstacle to the future development of bitcoin

Yes it is a problem, but I don't see it as a hindrance to bitcoin future development, and what is the problem with the fees? .0001 I think is the good fee for now, it is not that big. I think maybe because you are just sending small amount of bitcoins, which is really a problem. I think these fees is not a problem, the problem is how will these coin be accepted by stores, even retailers. Confirmations will be fixed and I know that is close, but being accepted on stores, I think it is still far away.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used in space? on: June 11, 2017, 05:01:28 PM
Can not be used
Certainly because no space in the sky using bitcoin

I don't get it, but I think you're joking. I think what I want to ask is why will you use it in space? Are you an astronaut? Or maybe an alien? Second, we all know that internet is not reaching the space, so there are no internet on space, concluding that there are no way you can use bitcoin on space.
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How you pick your bets? on: June 11, 2017, 03:40:27 PM
I am curious and would like to know how you choose and pick your bets?

Do you have a certain strategy or is it just your gut feeling? Do you secure your bet on one site by setting a further bet on an other betting site?

Gambling is, by its very nature, a risk-ridden way to fill your time or even to try and make money. But, when done sensibly, it can also be a fun and exciting addition to watching sport. Once you've done enough research, you should know you're sport well enough to find better value in the hundreds of other markets the bookies offer. It is arguably a way for the bookies just to provide you with more ways to lose but you can find the good prices if you look hard enough.

The games do not always end up like they should and the favorites do not always win so when you are picking your bets whatever strategy you are using it will be a very risky one. Research won't help you that much when for example a good team leading the rankings of that particular league loses at home against one of the most weak links of the rankings of the league. Probably something has gone wrong here, maybe the leading team was not motivated so this ended in you losing your money.
Yes exactly as yesterday happened for many of the people Bangladesh was not the favorite at all because the players of them were not that much experienced and skilled as that of the New Zealand which was considered favorite for the game to win it.

But unfortunately the result of the match was against the expectations and the predictions. Bangladesh won the match while the New Zealand had much better player but didn’t work.
Unexpected things do really happen on gambling world specially on sports betting. We might see the gap or advantage on a certain team against on other but guarantee on winning isnt still sure.I already witnessed some games which do underdogs do win in the game thats why we should really be careful on selecting to increase winning chances.

That is gambling, gambling gives us a choice where we don't what might happen and put our money in risk to gain more. But these unexpected results didn't always happen, it just happen sometimes that many sports gamblers won grom betting, the problem is, the odds are high that their profit is not that big.
595  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: June 11, 2017, 02:09:58 PM
I wonder what people are ready to do when money is the problem.
Money is the root of all evil, they can even kill one person just for money. Some will steal money on another person or robbing a bank. Thats the role of money in our world, if you have it you can dictate what life you want.

Not just evil, money is power, nowadays they will really kill for it, it can spark a war, it can destroy a family, that is how powerful money is these days. It is just sad to know that many criminals rob and kill just for the money, these times we live in, we breath through money, without it, we will die.
596  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you enjoying the crazy Bitcoin price rise? on: June 11, 2017, 10:14:21 AM
I really like the crazy growth of bitcoin and I really feel greed for easy money without a huge expenditure of time.

Who won't be enjoying these price pumps lately, they have good number of bitcoins and they also has a good profit out of it. But you don't need to be that greedy, just be happy with these price pumps, everyone is waiting for these price and now it is happening, these might not take for long so enjoy it while you can.
597  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: June 11, 2017, 08:46:45 AM
Yes, I think that millionares invest in btc and they are the reasons why the price also became higher in price. They are the bigger whales of the bitcoin system who holds the biggest investments. If it happens that they pull out a big dumps on their wallet, then their will be a huge decrease of price in the marketplace. Let's not hope that situation to happen, because it might affect all of us who really depends on digital currency bitcoin economy that is doing good performance now.

I think they know these digital currency, but they don't have any time to focus on these currency or even time to invest. Billionaires are pretty busy and they are always focussed on what they are doing or working, they sound good, but it is seriously hard to be a billionaire. I think there are some, but they are only few of them.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: June 11, 2017, 04:40:07 AM
If in end 2017 Bitcoin Segwit or fixed issue Blockchain successfully, Bitcoin will create a paradise for user Bitcoin in the world's
Else, if failure, we will see "apocalypse" of Bitcoin and more people loss all their money =)))

2017 is pretty much over.  This is halfway through the year and it is a little late to be making observations.  The key is to be primed for next year.  Get the code together that you need, prep for the coins that are ready to hit the market and have value.  This is the time for 2018, not 2017.  Think about last year and the fact that you could have been sitting on Bitcoins at the price of $600 and under and where are you now?

That is right, this time is pretty late for laying our thoughts about these year, but we can still say our prediction what may happen to bitcoin these year, you know of the network splitting these upcoming August right? What will happen there, there are a lot of possibilities that even we are in the year of the most successful for the investors, we can't still stop from worrying.
599  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Off-Topic Discussion on: June 11, 2017, 01:44:52 AM

600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: June 10, 2017, 10:38:04 PM
I think it is very difficult even impossible to get the price of the bitcoin $1000, this is because the user bitcoin increasing and they think that prices this year could reach more than $5000.
It will happen when bitcoin is about to die, for these decades bitcoin prices will not drop to $ 1000 because bitcoin growth will make bitcoin prices continue to rise. We will not see the $ 1000 price again

I also don't want these from happening, bitcoin is reaching slowly the $3000 wall and might break that wall, though, there are some investors having second thoughts about the network splitting making the price really an unpredictable price. On the worst case scenario, we might see below $1000 price these August.
