5801  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] John Kmp VCC Apple Developer is a scammer / fraudster on: August 10, 2020, 05:39:55 PM
I didn't see that on those screenshots of your communication that you shared, but did you at least ask him for the refund and how he reacted to that? (I know that chances for that are low since seller is a nebwie account without no reputation so its easy for him to just take your money and disappear).

As @MonsterV told you, escrow is a must when dealing with such members. By the way , you can also raise flag against him.

Fake ANN thread. Seems like they shared real github now, and later on they will replace it with malware affected one.

Another Prance Gold ponzi scheme announcement thread appeared, from the same user that did the first one, but I guess that one was deleted. Now they claim that they are making those huge unrealistic profits via arbitrage, and we all know that's just bullshit story.

5804  Economy / Economics / Re: 2020-2021 best year if You Want to become rich no skills needed on: August 09, 2020, 07:29:40 PM
Its a best time for People to become rich.
Don't need skills just Invest in crypto stocks Gold and take Easy loans
That's a recipe for disaster, taking loans to invest in something as volatile as crypto is. We saw that fomo mentality back in late 2017 when people were actually doing that, taking huge loans and buying crypto, and we all saw how that ended up for them.
Crypto market looks bullish now, but let's say you take a loan, buy BTC and some major shit happens and price plummets back to few thousands (there is always chance for thst). Golden rule- invest only what you can afford to loose.
5805  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] ZYX NETWORK - Rebranded PZM Cash Ponzi is back! on: August 09, 2020, 02:30:20 PM
Rebranding has been a classic regular excuse of scammers. Scammers and easily get away without addressing the accusations .
Yep, but they should be aware that they won't fool you anyone with that marketing strategy, at least not here the bitcointalk forum. Especially with all those newbie accounts spamming in their ANN thread. Nothing suspicious going on there, all natural conversations and genuine interest :p

I'm curious to see whether they start bounty campaign, as they did with Pzm Cash.
5806  Economy / Services / Re: 🔥 [LOGO CONTEST] 🔥 Looking for a new LOGO for our Crypto Exchange COINSBOX.NET on: August 08, 2020, 08:42:22 PM
you should make screen capture or evidence (just like VOTING POOL, Chat or anything else) in order to proof that the winner is true choise from DEV Team.. the question, why need evidence? Because only 1 winner, no 2nd or 3rd winner.. so all contestant will accept gracefully and feel fairness for this contest..
This is definitely not necessary. OP obviously represents Coinsbox, and speaks in the name of the team. If you don't trust him, why should you trust any evidence he presents as that can be easily fabricated?

They escrowed the funds as suggested, chose the winner and that's about it. By the way I liked your design, imho it was almost as good as @Jayce's submission, but that's how it goes with these contest.

Btw, congrats to winner!
5807  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: August 08, 2020, 04:56:28 PM
For Satoshi Club ANN, user Cyberdapps is creating new topic all the time.
One example is most recent topic that created 3 days ago and bumped up today:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5266607.0
Are you sure though that those accounts are shilling? I just checked Satoshi Club a bit and it seems that every few days they are promoting new project (for example today they made ANN thread for  Dash so they organize AMA, and choose few questions from the announcement thread (that might be even against forum rules, as it could be seen as giving incentive for writing in ANN thread)
I have to check a bit more to see what's going on there before adding them.
5808  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] SchainWallet Content stolen from TrustSwap on: August 08, 2020, 01:12:24 PM
It can't call stolen.
Because we have same idea with TrustSwap about Timely payment. But our project will more creative and in Defi field.

You say more creative, yet you can't even make basic explanation about your own project. But not just that, you obviously even took some graphics from TrustSwap. That really shows how creative you are and how little time and effort you invested into this.

Looks to me just another  money grab project that wants to jump on defi hype train. We gonna see more and more of those.

Flag supported by the way, nice catch OP!
5809  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: COINSBIT.IO SCAM EXCHANGE + UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES - LOST 16.700 USD on: August 08, 2020, 10:51:34 AM
Bitcoin talk should ban the coinsbit ann treath, enough evidence that it is ruled by puppet accounts and the original Coinsbit user is not responding at all, this topic should be locked!
Scams are not moderated on bitcointalk, so despite Coinsbit being an obvious scam, nothing can be done in that regard (unless they break some of the forum rules that are punishable by thread deletion).
Regarding those shilling accounts, no one is buying that so what they are doing is useless and doesn't help them one bit. Coinsbit OP has been tagged and flagged, so newbies are aware what's going on there.
5810  Local / Altcoins (Hrvatski) / Re: 🍀🍀 Bounty kampanje Altcoin – Signature, Telegram 🍀🍀 on: August 08, 2020, 10:38:13 AM
5811  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 25 BTC @9000USD each on: August 07, 2020, 07:15:12 PM
Wire transfer
Proof of coins and KYC will be provided

Since you said that proof will be provided, what are you waiting for? Sign the message from the wallet where you have  25 BTC (

Another thing that doesn't make much sense - even if its  family emergency as you said it is doesn't make any sense to sell BTC well below market price as you can sell that amount of BTC radio for the real price.

I call it bullshit, therefore tagging the user.
5812  Economy / Scam Accusations / [SCAM] ZYX NETWORK - Rebranded PZM Cash Ponzi is back! on: August 07, 2020, 03:54:41 PM
What happened: ZYX NETWORK is a rebranded PZM Cash, very well known ponzi scheme, that is version of yet another older ponzi PRIZM. Like in PZM Cash, again they have PoS based, yet again they hired bumping service to promote their scam. Even logo looks the same like previous one. But this time they decided to push this scam even further, and got listed on Bitforex exchange. I guess they thought that by rebranding and changing name no one will notice, so they came once again, after previous accounts got tagged and flagged.
For those who want to read more about PZM Cash
[WARNING] PZM Cash- new version of a known ponzi scheme Prizm!

As in PZM Cash, again they have same staking percentages for those that are naive enough and hold this.

5813  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has hit ATH against Turkish Lira on: August 07, 2020, 03:12:03 PM
I remember the laughable surveys saying 20% of Turks were balls deep in Bitcoin. Maybe an actual few wish they were.
Yeah that sounds like a gross exaggeration. I mean, I know that Bitcoin is probably popular in Turkey if we base it on their activity on bitcointalk, but that number is crazy. There are more than 80 million Turks, by that survey it means 16+ million of them are "balls deep" in Bitcoin. If that was indeed the case, price of BTC would be way higher. Hell, if 1% of Turks were balls deep in BTC that would be reflected in  price.

We should pick some lessons from this too as it's showing us that investing in bitcoin is very important, and a savior from the scam called fiat. Just imagine holding your savings in these fiat getting devalued yearl. You think you have money but you end up having less everything your currency gets devalued.
+1

If you live in a politically and economically unstable country, it makes more sense that you use BTC (as volatile as it is) as store of value, rather than your own country's fiat currency. Maybe not all, but a significant portion. My country's currency (Croatian Kuna) is generally stabile, yet again I rather choose BTC.

One more fake ANN with malware, I guess scammers had their vacation and now they are back at their usual business. As always, user woke up after few years break , made copy of an announcement thread and created github with similar name in order to fool people. Please nuke him and that thread before someone downloads it.

5815  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I contribute to the forum on: August 07, 2020, 11:38:34 AM
Good day everyone, I just joined this forum and I'm looking forward on how to make my contribution into this big forum.
I have knowledge about trading, cryptocurrency in general. Where do I start from?
Read forum rules thoroughly and get yourself familiar with them. Take your time, don't force it, forum is big and with huge amount of quality material so it will take you quite some time to dicover all the little secrets. Also, when in doubt don't hesitate to ask question!
5816  Other / Meta / Re: Make this forum a better place - part 1 on: August 07, 2020, 11:09:39 AM
I see this often and have never reported such posts, but I wonder if it would be desirable and what is the moderator’s position on the issue? Unnecessary use of quote is very widespread on the forum, and some members do not respond to warnings at all - although these are mostly the same ones who do not read the answers to their posts (shitposters&signature spammers).

Take this thread for example, we have Hero member who has not yet learned how to reduce the image to some appropriate size, and after that we have this :
Senior Member Reatim
Senior Member fiulpro
Yep, quoting posts with images is annoying AF, it should be a part of basic forum bon ton to remove those. Just went through recent post history of those two users and they constantly do that, that example you shared was not a coincidence, rather a rule for them. Zero fucks given. It would be good to hear mods stance on that, as some people won;t learn the lesson until their posts start  getting deleted.

Could that be somehow sorted automatically by forum, to at least hide images in quotes, if not completely remove it? Would that be complicated to implement?
5817  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: August 07, 2020, 10:37:53 AM
@Rikafip if you can please add topics I found that are using bumping spam services:
You are right, all those mentioned are indeed using bumping services. I added ZYX NETWORK, tap and PHORE BLOCKCHAIN, while ShareRing was alreeady on the list, I added it few weeks ago.

Regarding  Satoshi Club series of ANN threads, they obviously  used bumping services but from what I could see none of them are active at the moment, so I won't add them on the list for for now (I focused only on those that are active at the time of discovery). I'll keep an eye on them, and if their status changes, they will be added as well.
5818  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has hit ATH against Turkish Lira on: August 07, 2020, 09:10:56 AM
I didn't know that they've been experiencing this since 2015. I thought this is just the year where most countries will experience the bad shaping of their economy due to pandemic.
That goes on for much longer that that. Just look at the ratio prior to 2010 when it was around 0.80, and compare to it now when ratio is 1 LIRA =0.14 USD. That's something like 80%  loss..

As pooya87 said, all fiat currencies loose their value over time, that's how they work, its just that stabile ones  that are tied to strong economy loose maybe few % per year (and that's why saving cash is worst possible thing you can do, as interest you get in bank is lower than inflation, therefore you loose money).
5819  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Mjesečna Analiza za Hrvatsku Lokalnu Zajednicu (Bitcointalk Croatian) on: August 06, 2020, 05:24:44 PM

5820  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] kryptostance.net on: August 06, 2020, 03:59:27 PM
Classic Telegram approach. At least this scammer didn't waste time and almost immediately mentioned this kryptostance ponzi.
I hate it when they circle around and "just looking for a friend" and then after day or two of messaging they reveal their true motives even though its obvious right from the beginning what's going on. Who knows, maybe that works on less experienced people.
