While it's true that Bucks are not top team when it comes to 3 point shooting, they are not thrash either, and they  can be dangerous. Currently they are at 36.3 % (rank 12), with 38.5 attempts per game (rank 4). Giannis is the main threat of course, and key will be to stop him, but rest of the team is not afraid to shoot when he gets doubled, and they improved as team compared to last season, while Raptors, despite looking  very good this , will miss Kawhi in the playoff.


Considering all these injuries  and roster issues, somehow i doubt it. They could  eventually reach conference SF and that's about it. They might have been  contenders at the beginning of the season (if i remember correctly they were ranked 6th by the bookies) but they lost that "title" imho.

Pelicans continue they run for the 8th spot, last night they beat Cavaliers 116-104. Since Zion joined them, they are 9-5. This is his 10th game in a row that he scored at least 20 points, and overall 12th with 20+ points. They are front runners at the moment  for that 8th spot race without the doubt, if Zion stays healthy.
Another thing that im curious about; whether Zion has chance to get ROTY, considering the amount of games he played.
I remember  when Brogdon got ROTY award back in 2017, despite Embiid having much better numbers, but he lacked the games.

U navedenom periodu napisano je 1284 posta, sto je povecanje od cca 20%  u odnosu na prosli mjesec. Ovo je opcenito bio najaktivniji period u zadnjih skoro godinu i pol, od 9/2018, a i primjetan je trend povecavanja aktivnosti od proslog ljeta, uz neke male iznimke kao onaj blagdanski period.
Kao sto je prosli mjesec bilo dosta aktivnosti u topicu o politici, tako je ovaj mjesec za fin dio ovog broja zasluzan  poznati troll, ali unatoc tom trolanju, i na toj temi je ostavljeno dosta kvalitetnih i edukativnih postova, tako da ni to nije sve bilo uzalud.  A i posteri su  pritom zaradili koji satoshi kroz signature kampanje.




Da bi malo bolje docarao kako to izgleda na ostalim lokalnim boardovima, te gdje smo tu mi, slozio sam jedan chart. Cisto da se vidi odnos 'snaga". Nije iznenadjenje da su Rusi uvjerljivo prvi, ali neki lokalni boardovi su prilicno neaktivni, u odnosu kakvi su nekad bili.  Sto se tice naseg lokalnog boarda, mislim  da stojimo poprilicno dobro, cak i bolje od ocekivanja. Nema nas puno, ali smo aktivni, a mislim da i kvaliteta postova uopce nije losa. Iz charta sam iskljucio boardove koji su imali negativan broj(Kineski te Skandinavski), vjerojatno zato sto im je izbrisano dosta postova. Spanjolski board je recimo  imao dosta izbrisanih postova  u mining dijelu  iz nekog razloga, a  Kineski je imao jos i vise.

Kad je o meritu rijec, i tu smo bili dosta aktivni. U periodu od 1.02.do 28.02 podijelilo se 202 merita. Samo dva puta od uvodjenja se vise merita podijelilo na nasem boardu  (2/2018 te 6/2018). Kao i kod postova, primjetan je konstantan rast u zadnje vrijeme. Onaj natjecaj koji je pokrenuo @Daniel91 je bio pun pogodak, dosta se merita dodijelilo kvalitetnim postovima te je i to bitan razlog za ovaj odlican broj.




Kao sto sam napravio chart za postove, napravio sam i jedan za merit na ostalim lokalnim boardovima, cisto da se vidi kakva je tu situacija. Na vrhu i nema nekih iznenadjenja, ali neki su iznenadjujuce visoko, kao arapski.

I really liked that 76s roster, and i watched quite a few games. They played some nice team basketball, but their management decided to go all in, gave Saric and Covington, their 2 starting players for Butler that left them soon. It was obvious bad decision even back then, rushed one, as they wanted to go for title too soon. Later on, Butler didn't want resign with them despite them ofeering him max 5 year contract. So they end up giving Tobias Harris way too much, 150M/5 contract. To be honest, even Horford contract ain't too good either, 109M/4 years. A lot of money for  what it looks now like a bench player.
Currently, they don't have much wiggle room, and who knows how all this will end, but it doesn't look good at all.


It will be very very hard for them to get that 8th spot, with 4 wins behind Grizzlies, and tough end of the regular season. In their last 7 games they will play 2x vs Pelicans, 2x Rockets, 76s, Indiana and Kings. Won't be easy at all , and i wouldn't put my money on them to reach that 8th spot, despite them being Spurs.

Nedavno je theymos ostavio poduzi post o Trust i Flag sustavu, evo dijela posta oko flaga. Iako je njegov post imao za svrhu rascistiti neka pitanja, koliko sam skuzio i dalje svatko tumaci kako hoce.


E sad da li je ovo sto antikvark radi dovoljno za flag, nisam bas toliko siguran. A i ako je, onda jedino Flag 1 ima smisla, ostala 2 su za ozbilnije prekrsaje. Kao sto sam rekao u onoj temu u meti, i dalje mislim da je najbolji lijek za antikvarka i ljude slicne njima totalni ignore. Ne bi odgovarao na njegove prosere pa makar da sam u Chipmixer kampanji i dobivam onu lovu za svaki post. Nekima je  lakse ugurati metar u guzicu nego centimetar u glavu, a on spada u tu grupu, a sa takvima rasprava nema smisla.
Doduse, napisan je fin broj kvalitetnih postova koji pobijaju njegove besmislice, bar neka korist od svega toga.

Before betting on such a thing, it is not a bad idea to check the schedule of the teams fighitning for that 8th spot. I narrowed it down to 3 teams that i believe have highest chances to end in the playoff: Pelicans, Blazers and Grizzlies. Spurs are 4 games behind Grizzlies, and as much as i would like to see them in the playoff, i doubt that that will happen this year. By the look of the schedule, Pelicans actually have decent chance of getting into playoffs, but more about that later in the post.
So I took a few screenshots and and here is their schedule until end of regular season:

Pelicans::By the looks of it, they don't have the easiest schedule, but still plenty of games against teams they can beat. Especially considering the fact that they are not the same team with and without Zion. Since he joined them, they are 8-5, and that;s much higher win percentage  compared to the part of the season he missed. Another  important thing is that they will have 2 games against direct opponent, Grizzlies, that might be the key.

Grizzlies: If you check the current standing, they look like having a slight advantage over other 2 teams, but when you check their opponents until end of the regular season, situation doesn't look so good anymore. They probably have the toughest schedule, having to play 2x against both Pelicans and Blazers. On top of that, they will have some tough stretches, like the one between March 20th and March 31st. In that period they have to play 2 games against Pelicans, Celtics, Bucks and 2x against Raptors.

Blazers: They might have the easiest schedule among these 3 teams, but their recent form ain't best, 1 win and 4 losses. No tough stretches though, plenty of weak teams that don't have any chance for playoff, and 2x games against Memphis. A lot will depend on when Lillard comes back.

More bad luck for Philadelphia 76s after Simmons injury the other day- Embiid got injured last night(sprained shoulder) in the loss against Cavaliers, and it is uncertian until when he will be out. &6s are currently 5th in the East, but they can't slide down more than 1 spot, even if Embiid and Simmons miss some games since Nets and Magic are quite a few games behind them.

In the other news, Utah Jazz continues to be extremely streaky. Just before All Star break they had 4 wins in a row, and now after the break they are playing really bad, last night they had their 4th consecutive loss, this time against Celtics. Next game is against Wizards, that might be right opponentn for them at the moment to end this loosing streak, but I wouldn't put my money on them.

I hope for the same thing too. Currently KICK price fluctuates a lot, at it's being pumped and dumped in cycles, but once they are done with it, hopefully price will be so low that many will give up on registering on their exchange. Sixers are currently  somewhere in the middle, they have 35.2% for three, that makes them 18th out of 30 teams . When it comes to 3 pts attempts, with 31 attempt per game they are 22nd. When you look at their EFG % , they are average to below average team (52.9%, 19th spot ). For example, they are 23rd when it comes to FT (only 75%). They are among the best when it comes to defense and of course rebounding, due size of their lineup.
Thing that annoys me with Simmons is that he is obviously not willing to work on his shooting, as he didn't improve at all in those few years. How can player that plays his position have only 62% FT  this season? Hell, even Shaq who was ridiculed for that had 62% one year (with 52.7% career average).

Very interesting game tonight, Bucks coming to Toronto after that overtime win against Wizards last night. I am slightly leaning towards Raptors tonight, but it's hard to bet against Bucks when they play so good this season.

Imho, not a good idea. This could only cause more complaints and more drama, people reporting each other etc. Better to leave it like it is now, where everyone can give merit based on his own personal opinion, instead imposing more rules and restrictions.
Also, bare in mind that merit sources don't get same merit allocation , so amount of merit they get varies a lot (from what i understood, some get 60 each month and some get  for example 600 and more), and consequently  amount of merit they give to others for each merited post.

There is no doubt who would Philadelphia  management trade if they have to choose between those two, but I seriously doubt they have the balls to do it after so many years of tanking (even though I think that would be smart thing to do).
Another issue now is Simmons getting injured in that loss against Bucks the other day, and it is uncertain when he will be back, and how serious this injury is. When Philadelphia made roster for this season, they kept in mind Embiid and his history of injuries, and Horford signing was in a way contingency plan in case something happens to Embiid, but what they didn't cover is proper Simmons replacement. Let's hope this injury is nothing serious and that he will be back soon,  so far he missed only few games in his first 2 seasons.
