5861  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 08, 2017, 05:06:55 AM
Gold in a heartbeat! Gold has been around for millions of years and it is also considered to be non-renewable. We all know that bitcoin prices consistently increases overtime but the value of gold in the future will dominate bitcoin.
5862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: June 08, 2017, 04:50:51 AM
I've started discussing it with my brother and he doesn't seem convinced at all! Maybe because I'm still a newbie (in terms of ranking) and I'm not earning anything yet. I've also discussed this with my friends and they also share the same thinking as my brother. Can't wait to prove them wrong!
5863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of many reasons why I love bitcoin on: June 08, 2017, 04:47:19 AM
Well the reason on why I love bitcoin is because I can help my family in paying the expenses even if I'm still a student. Due to the various campaign signatures, it gives me the potential to earn, and especially help my family. This is a huge step and milestone for me and that is why I am hoping for the best!
5864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving bitcoins on: June 08, 2017, 04:04:26 AM
If ever I have a bitcoin, I will definitely convert it and withdraw it in a bank and use it for a long-term investment plan. No matter how high or low the prices of these coins are, I'll withdraw it right away and not hoard them.
5865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless or is it? on: June 08, 2017, 03:26:12 AM
In my opinion, bitcoin is not useless AT THE MOMENT since you can always convert it into cash. The real problem lies only on earning it. Bitcoin also has the potential to replace cash in the future. It is not useless for as long as it has monetary value in conversion.
5866  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: June 07, 2017, 11:58:17 PM
What I plan on the future is if I earn my bitcoin now, I will convert it into cash and invest it to the bank. The advantage of it to me is that I am student and this greatly helps my family if I can at least alleviate the the expense that they incur for sending me to school. I really want to help my family at any cost and I owe everything to them.
5867  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: June 07, 2017, 09:38:51 PM
Do remember that if everyone is rich, then no one is rich. It will create a society wherein a people are still divided based on their social status i.e "super rich - mega rich - rich". Technology is advancing steadily and with the new innovations of making new ideas, we could all say that the future is now near. But everything starts with a simple plan and a right mindset towards your goal.
5868  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: June 07, 2017, 08:44:01 PM
It really varies depending on your point of view. The strongest currency in the world right now for people who does not use bitcoin is of course paper money since it can buy the daily essentials of an individual. But for people who knows about bitcoin and uses it as a form of investment, it is without a doubt the strongest currency right now due to its increase in price consistently.
5869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: June 07, 2017, 07:28:56 PM
Of course, cash is always better compared to bitcoin but we need to consider the history of paper money after all compared to bitcoin. But to summarize, here are some of the reasons on why money is superior to bitcoin:

1. You can use it world wide to shop
2. It is acknowledged by a country's government
3. You can invest it on banks

But then again, prices of bitcoins are increasing and maybe in the near future it may soon replace our money.
5870  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: June 07, 2017, 01:37:46 PM
Going all in on bitcoins is a bad idea especially for young people since they have little knowledge about it. But being exposed to bitcoin at an early age may give them a huge advantage if they use it wisely in terms of investing or helping their families. Always remember that you should always think before you click or else you might regret it later on.
5871  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: June 07, 2017, 01:21:48 PM
Well it really depends but nowadays there are a lot of scammers and hackers scattered around. If this gets out of hand, it may die soon but for sure, another alternative will rise that may be similar to bitcoin. But I really do not believe that bitcoin will die anytime soon.

5875  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Mga kabayan anong unang naisip niyo sa Bitcoin noong first time niyong nalaman on: June 07, 2017, 10:21:09 AM

5877  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: June 07, 2017, 12:06:37 AM
The economy right now here is a little unstable but progressing in a steady state. Many infrastructures are being built and an abundant amount of projects for producing mass transportations are being planned so it's a ray of hope for us. But the economy here isn't our main problem at the moment but due to the terrorist attack in one of our province, tourists now are being reluctant on whether staying here or not (which may generate money). It's a sad situation for us and for the whole world due to this.
5878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can governments find a way to tax Bitcoin? on: June 06, 2017, 11:53:39 PM
Here in my country, the government does not have any laws about taxing bitcoins but our central bank released a statement about regulating the use of it. I think that as time passes by more and more people will know about bitcoin and who knows, the government might tax it in the future.
5879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: June 06, 2017, 04:18:35 PM
Well, the community here is not toxic compared to other social websites and not to mention the benefits that you gain from getting incentives. I just hope that the government sees the potential of this currency in the future.
5880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin for Retirement on: June 06, 2017, 03:13:34 PM
Investing for the future is always the best move but in my opinion, saving 1 bitcoin for your retirement plan is too risky since the price of bitcoins are very inconsistent. If you want to settle for a retirement plan, I think it is best to save at least more than 1 bitcoin if possible.
