62  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: June 12, 2024, 04:28:44 PM
This very basic. You can't help a beginner person avoid becoming addicted to gambling if they can't even help themselves avoid gambling. Personal desire and discipline are important for a person to avoid gambling addiction. Eventhough many of us can offer support or help the decision and action must come from the person themselves. (Another topic about gambling addiction 😕) I'm having difficulties to understand OP that's why I only answered the title thread. lol

This is very basic: you can't.

I mean, if somebody really want to gamble they'll find a way
if they can't control their urges they'd get addicted
only way would be casinos limiting user time but this goes completely against their incentives so it's not happening.

64  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: June 12, 2024, 04:02:44 PM
To me sometimes I do notice that the rich gamble more than the average people and the numbers of the rich that gamble is more than the numbers that does not gamble to me that is just what I feel in some countries because rich people gamble a lot because they are the one that have the money to gamble multiple times even when they are experiencing a lot of lost they still gamble but many people think that the rich doesn't gamble that much because they already have money that is not how it really work, because everyone that is rich or lose one to make more money and add more profit to themselves and add more money to what they are already making so I just feel like they still gamble no matter what and the gamble in a condition that you may not even believe sometimes rich are very addicted in gambling that is one thing I observe so that makes them can go more and more.

I think this is true because rich people will end up having more disposable income
if a person has more basic needs to fullfill like food and shelter it's a really small percentage that will end up giving in to gambling
most will try to get their basic needs sorted out first.
65  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: June 12, 2024, 03:52:41 PM
Based on personal experience, I can say that it is always observed that when you are losing constantly, you should stop right there because your luck isn't working and the games aren't paying, and come back later to gamble with the same balance and you might see a difference. If you are losing again the second time, stop again and come back later, in one of these times, you will see that you are winning now, and any game you play will give you wins.

I don't say this works all the time because at the end of the day, it's gambling, but I have observed that this method mostly works and you wouldn't lose everything in one go because if you are losing and you continue playing, you will lose all your balance in a single session and won't recover anything.
If any gambler can stop gambling in this situation then the person is not addicted and it can be considered a self-control method and the person can be a winner in the long run. And I think the person should be considered as an ideal gambler.
Everyone gets excited when it comes to gambling.  You will notice that when gambling you don't lose everything very quickly, sometimes you win even with a lot of risk.  This is how gambling sites fool you.  Convince you that you can get a lot out of gambling if you try. By doing such tricks they make the users addicted to gambling and gradually they start gambling but cannot quit gambling.  This is called gambling addiction
Only a gambler gets excited when he's gambling and in most cases you won't be given an opportunity to win even 1 time before you start losing your money.  However every days are not the same because some days you win and some days you lose. That is why it's not a good way to make money. Most times when a new gambler picks a game he will win because it's just like they are making his or her attends to be in gamble so that next time the person will come and gamble, but when the person continues to gamble that's when he will know that gamble is a thing a gambler lose and win.

return to the mean is real
if you are winning a lot math will always be on the side of the house and at some point you'll start to lose
the key is knowing when to stop and walking away after big wins

vamos ver

69  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: June 11, 2024, 08:07:20 PM
I gamble whenever I feel like whether I have money or not, as far as I want to have fun, even if I don't have money, I will just go to the gambling site or shop to borrow some money from and after playing I pay back but if they refused to lend me some money, I will have to go to my family's or friends for some money but when I borrow, I will have to gamble and pray to make sure I will win so that I will pay them from there but anytime I feel down or upset, I gamble even if I don't have money or even if I have some to get fun.
I think you are forcing yourself too hard to fulfill your desire to have fun at the gambling table, have you thought about the consequences of lending money to anyone? Do your friends and family know the money you lend them to gamble? I think if they knew they wouldn't have given the money. This is the same as if you were looking for income or money there. The risk of you choosing to borrow money from relatives is not recommended.

People who have fun gambling will not think about the money they lost and will replace it with someone else, this is their way of entertaining themselves before they play, they already know the risk of losing their money.

I think that when it comes to lending money in the game or borrowing money, that is something very delicate, the truth is that I do not recommend it because it is a double-edged sword, and even less so doing it in the game, of course I have my beliefs, which first is a very bad decision on an economic level and secondly its unwavering commitment to fulfill it in the stipulated time, then it is a very bad decision in reality, also if it is in the game it is not clearly in it since this could be a reason why we are going to be guaranteed to recover thanks to having Won, no , things don't work like that, which is why it is not advisable to do so.

also when lending or borrowing from some person you like you always risk ruining your relationship with them
better not doing it, for real
it's not worth it.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: June 11, 2024, 07:51:28 PM
Well, you have really explained a lot about it and I think you’re right There are different class of gambling and different class of human. Yes, there is some people that is extremely rich if they scramble and lose money, it doesn’t affect them they can go to the other hand, and fix them self back Without any desk stop and some don’t even have at all after everything and they will notice they have gambled away a lot

The thing is that rich people can end up broke in the same amount of time that a poor person.

They both have the same odds, and the rich person has the ability to spend more per gambling instance.

So, if they have the same outcomes in every step, and the rich person has, say 100x more money than the poor person in the beginning, but bets 100x every step, then they both will lose all their money at the same time.

The odds are the same for everyone.

I wouldn't say they have the same odds... at all
mobility downwards when you are closer to the top of the pyramid in terms of earning is smaller and smaller the higher you go
of course you still "could" lose it all but you'd have to be really stupid to do it.
71  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: June 10, 2024, 05:33:23 PM
~
casinos like duelbits are showing how it is possible for a new casino to survive very well in this casino market for a long time. It's incredible how duelbits managed to conquer this market, most new casinos soon become scams or go bankrupt, while duelbits has been on this forum for 4 years and still managed to become a good, reliable casino and is running a signature campaigns that already has a long period

That's because they meant business from the very beginning. They were running a lot of promotions(still running them), were adding new games all the time, providing fast withdrawals, great customer support ...

Although it's true what @BITCOIN4X said that not all casinos that spend a lot of money on promotions can be trusted, Duelbits can be trusted, we all know about that.

yes, you are correct betwrong
the amount of money a casino spends on promotions is not the best factor to consider to decide if it is reliable or not and if it can be trusted.
better to consider other things like reviews, TVL, if it is regulated or not, if users can withdraw or always have problems with it...
these things.

sempre bom lembrar:

https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esquema_em_pir%C3%A2mide

vale e vale muita coisa.

74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: June 07, 2024, 03:13:00 PM
You are right for gamblers who already know the bad effects in gambling they will try to control themselves in gambling as best they can because they do not want them to be too down in a life that is very miserable due to the bad effects.
And if they meet new gamblers they will try to give advice on the experiences they have had because the bad experience should be a good lesson and not behave badly in carrying out gambling activities.
They don't wants to lose control when they playing gambling because they already knows what the effect that they will gets. They will not lets themselves lose their money by playing gambling as that can makes them feels angry and that can makes them to recovers their lose which is difficult to do. Their lives will be miserable when they lose much money in gambling and that can makes their lives ruins and lose everything they had. They will suggests people who playing gambling to be careful and always uses limitation in gambling because once they lose their money and can't control themselves, they will gets deeper in gambling without have a chance to gets out from gambling. That's why they will always try to control themselves and not trying to use much money to playing gambling.

I think most houses will want people to lose control and spend it all
since it's the most profitable outcome for them
specially for recurring users, the ones that lost it all and deposit more to keep betting, these are probably the best ones for the house, even more if they are high net worth individuals.

When Lazarus use Lightning Network to launder their hacked money, Lightning Network will be banned and the Protocol will be sanctioned, like Tornado Cash and its source code. The world doesn't stop spinning and cryptocurrency world will continue to be more weird with more serious regulations from governments globally.
Since the Lazarus group are moving around Bitcoins (I am pretty sure they are using Privacy coins like monero too) why haven't they sanctioned or banned Bitcoin yet?  Grin
Don't you see that the regulations are even odd?

There should be no single bans, domain seizures or sanctions in the first place.

let's stop this nonsense
bitcoin won't be banned
ethereum won't be banned
solana won't be banned

simply because the government can't ban them
and if they try their citizens will be the ones losing with this decision.
76  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: June 07, 2024, 02:51:48 PM
I call it the last call that end the day well, this kind of feelings make me sleep well at night knowing that at the end of the day, I did not totally lose our and able to end on a winning, one of those days I risk my highest amount in the bet, way more than what I use to bet and for the bet being my last bet, I just make up my mind that if I lose, I take it as my faith and walk away.

This even happened to me yesterday when I bet my last $256 on game and luckily for me the 3 odds game entered and I was able to make a lot of profits from that single act.

This is what I call the dangerous risk. It is not that taking a risk is not good, but sure, higher risks hardly succeed. That is why it is very dangerous because, as you see, you didn’t even have the plan to win and you end up winning, which means you will have a higher profit than you also didn’t expect. That is why I always said that higher risk brings more profit but is more dangerous, although the higher the risk, the higher the profit, and the lower the risk, the lower the profit. That is how these things work, and vice versa.

My last cash is always the most money that I usually use for gambling because I take gambling as a source to get some fast money that will sustain me for some time, but most of the time I do lose. That is why I am trying to stop, but I know it will take time for me to stop, so I have to go gradually in order to get rid of such an act, but winning is very amazing to be sincere.

yes, it doesn't make a lot of sense to bet it all since the risk of not recovering is just too big
one should always avoid the risk of ruin, no matter what they say, not worth to risk losing it all

you can hear it work once or twice but then you'll lose it all on the third time

79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Story of my life on: June 06, 2024, 07:40:43 PM
<...>

the main difference is the way you see it

one believes that you think about something and then it'll magically reach your life
the other point of view considers that you think about something, your actions point in the direction of it and then you end up getting what you want.

same same, but different

it's like a manifesting? I mean, the more we think of it, the more we achieve or gain it, like if you want to have that thing, you need to think more positive thoughts about it and it will serves as a motivation for us to achieve that thing. so if the things that we keep thinking about are not good, let's stop because we might attract that thing even more and make it come true. Not sure if this is true but many have had such an experience.

the thing for me is that if I just think positively and try to manifest things from my room but don't move my ass to do stuff nothing will happen
I think being positive helps but it's definitely not enough
it's action that moves things in the world.

what do you think?

vamos ver.
