61  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | Lowest House Edge (1%) | Instant Deposits on: August 01, 2013, 09:38:47 AM
Damn them! Site still down? I didn't get to copy the pass, will this effect any of the coins I still have in PD?
I'm almost certain it wont make a difference to anything. Once the site is back up everything will be the same. I'm sure if you want your coins Stunna would send you them.

I live in a high rise so this is my version of a garage. Storage units for resident use. Well lit and free electricity but gets hot down there.
Thanks! Looks like a good place for building stuff. Good luck. I'll be interested to see how it goes.

I hate DDoSers with a passion. I hope you get this sorted. I'd like to see the progress you've made with the site since I was last online.
64  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs shipping 300 units a day on: July 31, 2013, 09:10:28 PM
I'm also sure there was a bit of sarcasm in there since he seems to dislike BFL from what I've read!

Is it your basement that you're building this? What are the cages for? Sorry. I'm just nosey. Interesting thread.

I am very impressed by the progress of finding this guy. I'll never scam anyone because people are so innovative when finding people. Online traceability is difficult to cover up (I hope for your benefit). I'm sorry for bloating the thread but I want to subscribe to it to see the progress.

Good luck guys.
68  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Free electricity pool on: July 23, 2013, 02:56:35 PM
I have free electricity but if I started running an avalon or something I'm sure questions would be asked and some part of my contract would be pointed out to me. There's no such thing as completely free electricity just like there is no such thing as unlimited web hosting.

You could probably write a javascript addon for your browser too. I use greasemonkey for firefox and I know you don't need any addon for opera. Not sure about chrome though. I try not to get to hung up on the cost but you could just use one of the desktop programs and set it to always on top at the corner of your desktop or something.

Just some alternatives since I don't see this suggestion being implemented.
70  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Inputs.io | Instant Payments | Easy API | Secure Wallet | Offchain | No fees on: July 11, 2013, 06:36:43 PM
Thanks. I got an email when the site came up confirming my transaction so that was nice.

I do trust your sites, I'm just very paranoid!
71  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Inputs.io | Instant Payments | Easy API | Secure Wallet | Offchain | No fees on: July 11, 2013, 04:36:05 PM
Aaand inputs.io is down again. Of course. I try to make a quick payment, have to switch my coins from wallets, and right in the middle this happens, why not right? ._.
Same here. Seems to be whenever I want to view something it goes down. I hope the server issues are sorted soon.

Bitcoind is being fixed, I believe.
Fair enough. I wish it had told me that when I logged in to get my address to send to. Makes me worried when my bitcoins aren't anywhere in particular.

Bought 2BTC from Dogie via UK Bank transfer. Transaction went well. Will deal again.
74  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] btc for UKBT @ gox+1% on: July 11, 2013, 03:35:02 PM
2btc sold/selling
Completed 2BTC transaction. All confirmed and went smoothly.

Thanks.
75  Economy / Auctions / Re: Bought 5 AM Shares from Diamondstarfall on: July 11, 2013, 10:30:46 AM
Damn. This is a really terrible situation. You'd think you'd be fairly safe buying shares because you can get the third party that holds the shares to send you the shares if you can prove that you've sent money. So few people use Escrow to buy AM shares too. Cry
76  Other / Off-topic / Re: best movie you have ever seen in your life on: July 11, 2013, 08:53:41 AM
Donnie Darko
Requiem for a Dream
Jacob's Ladder
From your picture I thought it would have been Eraserhead... It was a pretty bizarre film.
77  Other / Meta / Re: Can bitcointalk.org get 2 factor authentication? on: July 11, 2013, 07:47:13 AM
I was scared by 2fa until TradeFortress pointed this out to me and sent me a javascript tool to process 2fa. I am a big advocate of it now. So yes. This is a must for this forums power users. But it should definitely be optional.

79  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-07-07 Sunday Times (UK) - In Bitcoin We Trust on: July 07, 2013, 02:30:30 PM
It's a full page spread and not hugely interesting. Goes over the Winklevoss twins plan to float their bitcoins as shares or whatever they are doing and just briefly goes over bitcoin in laymans terms. Nothing new.

It would mean I'd have to take about 4 photos to upload the full article. If someone has an online subscription then they could copy paste it but it's not worth me uploading the scan.
80  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Live Price Plotting Software on: July 07, 2013, 09:29:51 AM
It's a nice program. I'm learning a bit more python this summer so I'll probably use it as reference to make a few bitcoin related things.

Unfortunately I'm not sure if it is of use to a lot of people. There will be the odd few who may leave this running and use it as reference but there are just so many ways to find the current price and display price over time.

Thanks though. I'll bookmark your git.
