Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment?
This damages the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin was not created to become an investment. Before Bitcoin, there were some digital currencies years back, the goal was always to be able to create a (digital) currency free from central banks and governments.
Cypherpunks and other anarcho-capitalists are at the origin of this idea, perhaps 20 or 30 years ago. None were intended to make an investment to be rich quickly.
You won't find in the white paper "investing" mentioned, you won't find any post from Satoshi mentioning it
Considering Bitcoin as an investment, this is the reason why we have more and more regulations, G20 summits and others craps, KYC, etc...
The word "Crypto-assets" didn't exist before, why did they create it? Because you even consider it an investment, then why shouldn't they?
Bitcoin could be a lot more accepted and used by now. Why should a merchant agree to be paid in Bitcoin? He wants money, not a piece of your investment.
You're not even investing, you are just gambling with money.
Go to the altcoins board, you will surely find plenty of ICOs where you can say you invested in. I have something for you, ICOs used to raise money are no different than "Crowdfunding". If you want to invest then there are a lot of Crowdfunding websites where you can invest in real startups with fewer risks, (you won't find any project using photos from Pixabay...)
Why don't we see cryptographers anymore? Guess the reasons
it was originally used as a currency since it is in the form of technology, we cannot avoid changes and developments.Since technology always changes, so is cryptocurrency. Bitcoin was primarily used as a currency but now, it is used in many other things. If you put your money and wants it to grow, thats already a investment. Here in bitcoin we do the same thing, we want our money to grow, we will hold it and wait for the righ time to sell it, we want to gain profit, thats already a invesment. I cant stop calling bitcoin as a investment because i know its a kind of investment. |

why does everyone start to panicking when they see the price of Bitcoin dropping so much, in my opinion it is natural that the price of Bitcoin falls because Bitcoin has experienced the same thing as now, so I suggest not to be afraid and panic. we will see from this graphic : 1. On April 29, 2013 the price of Bitcoin was only $ 135.30 2. and on November 30, 2013 the price of Bitcoin increase high at the price of $ 1,149.14 3. then on January 2, 2014 the price of Bitcoin decreased at a price of $ 773.40 and on December 31, 2016 the price of Bitcoin began to increase again 4. and the price of Bitcoin began to rise high at the price of $ 19,783.30 on the 17th of December 2017 and as we know, now the price of Bitcoin at $ 6,948.46 and this is indeed down very far compared to prices on December 17, 2017, but it has already happened in 2014 where the price of Bitcoin dropped very far and it continues until 2016 and in 2017 finally Bitcoin prices start to increase again (it takes around 3 years to make Bitcoin prices rise). so from that, I'm sure the price of Bitcoin will increase again even though the time needed is not short. thank you for giving a little positive encouragement, honestly I'm very afraid that bitcoin really fell. this will not only be a nightmare for me but also everyone who holds bitcoin. I hope bitcoin will never lose the trust of everyone. Condition of bitcoin right now is getting worse and worse everyday so how would say that bitcoin will be fine? We see the price continuesly dropping and everyone, some investors do the panic selling because they are afraid that they can lose their money anytime. But im still hoping the bitcoin will recover because i already lost big amount of money. |

We all experience being financially challenged and we cannot deny that money makes us revolve around it. When we find ways to alleviate our financial suffering, we stand our ground and spend so much effort just to see the result and of course, benefit from it. Do you think that spending time and effort to gain bitcoins is a rational idea? Do you think that you could've been wasting your time? Let me know about your thoughts.
Bitcoin is worth our time and effort because I believe that it could give back all our effort through the profit that it provides us. Bitcoin is the fastest and easiest way for us to gain and earn a good profit these days so why not spend much time with it if we could gain enough through it. Honestly, i keep spend time in bitcoin in one only reason, because bitcoin makes me money, lets be realistic here. But I only spend for about, 2-3 hours i think? I just complete the weekly task here in bitcoin forum and if i have more time, i read some articles about cryptocurrency to gain more knowledge and learn skills to improve being a investor. |

Yes, so far there is a major disadvantage to electronic money, now the number of facebook users is quite high. So if electronic money is banned on it then it is a disadvantage, electronic money difficult to access to investors.
Facebook did not want to become the source of cryptocurrency advertisement because some of the ico's are just scam and that is the reason why other social media's are also banning cryptocurrency ads. Facebook is the most famous and widely used social media app in the world, banning ads related to cryptocurrency isnot a good idea for them. They will lose big amout of money if theyd do that. I feel the current market position as a tiger which is preparing to a jump, he is sitting down and keeping all the muscles in tensed, just waiting for a great and rapid jump, so are we with our cryptocurrency market condition. In my own opinion the market situation is getting worst so far, the price of bitcoin is continuesly dropping and thats not a good sign for bitcoin community and for us investors. Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).
Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!
right, because it's not recommended to leave your work in the real world to risk everything with bitcoin. I personally took the time very well, so far there was absolutely no problem. I cant relate with this because i am still student but its your mistake if you lose your regular job because of bitcoin. You need to have time management, i think spending 2-3 hours in bitcoin is ok extending with that is not good because you have regular job. So if you cannot control your time just pick on this those 2 to be your priority. |

Everywhere you can find cryptocurrency topic especially ICO projects are doing well on the marketing through social media like facebook, twitter, reddit, linked, youtube and etc. Celebrities, influential individuals and high ranking government officials are talking about cryptocurrency and that is why i think cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world. Do you agree with me? Even haters help cryptocurrency to be known all over the world so let just leave the haters then.

Linking today's technology with philosophy is like asking an atheist to believe in the existence of God just because the convincing party is theist. Bitcoin came into picture not exactly to make up for the deficiency in the current monetary system, but in order to make it highly secure and easily accessible although being based online. Who knows, we may even come up with better tech in the near future, marking a new era of easy payments but for now, lets just crown blockchain as the flagship here.
I strongly agree with your opinion, who must believe in god because we are also created by god. Absolutely because many countries are still againts in bitcoin, and i think many countries will be againts in bitcoin in the future. Why? Because bitcoin being used in illegal transactions and trades in black market and that really affects the economy. And if that illegal things continues btc will be banned in all countries in the future. |

This is only depends on altcoins demand. In these days altcoins decreases along with BTC decreased. I don't think so that altcoins has effected on BTC.
Because some altcoins moves faster than bitcoin thats why. As you can see in the market the price of bitcoin is dropping and altcoins price is increasing, it means more people try invest in altcoin than bitcoin. Im not saying that altcoin has many investors than btc, what i mean is investors try to invest in another coin because they see btc is falling down |

It is the godfather.Bitcoin is considered as the king among the crypto currency and its market capital is very high comparing to the other alt coins. So no chance to the alt coins to move faster than the bitcoins.

People trust in net banking and internet and investment and money transfer is going paperless,The global economy is moving towards digital system so I recommend the modern addition that is cryptocurrency . It is a digital and decentralized virtual currency that uses cryptography for security it is not issued by any central authority so the government can't take it from us . In cryptocurrency all the transaction is saved in a public ledger so no fraud happens . It is ease to use and low fees the only thing we need is smart phones and an internet .
Convince them that investing in bitcoin really make you rich, and show them sa proof that you really get rich because of bitcoin. Honestly i am really get tired of convincing peolple, specially my friends. They dont believe me. Dont make yourself fool try to pursue people who doesnt like btc in the first place.
