61  Economy / Economics / Re: Can human stupidity affect the movement of the market? on: June 15, 2018, 07:04:37 AM
There are some who are gullible enough to believe every news they hear even if it’s obviously just FUD. This contribute to panic selling and this affects the market. It’s a domino effect and even when just one sells or dumps their coins, actions like this by ‘stupidity’ can affect the market. When people don’t think about their actions first, it could have tremedous effects on the market.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to look at when investing on an ICO on: June 15, 2018, 06:55:53 AM
Is a good community, solid team and doable project, notable advisors, and a good token structure enough criteria to choose an ICO to invest in?

Note: This will be my first time ever joining an ICO. I need to know more.
I'd say yes. If you've been lured in with their idea, then thats probably a good investment. Also take note on their roadmap, the duration and the vision of the project also matters. And have you read their whitepaper? If things are clear and satisfies you for a "win" situation, then go for it. If not, then you go and test the responsiveness and willingness of their community.

Knowing the responsiveness and willingness of the community is also a good way of finding out whether a project is good. Having a positive feedback would attract more investors for the project and thus make it more successful. Sometimes the popularity of the team and advisors contribute to this so checking them out is also key. There are also many ICO reviews which could give you some insights.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin lead cryptocurrency market forever? on: June 14, 2018, 03:20:56 PM
Bitcoin is the leading coin of the market. What you think about the future of bitcoin and others coin?

While it is known that Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and the leading coin in the market in terms of value, I do not think that it will continue to be the number one cryptocurrency forever. A lot of coins are being developed right now which has a more advanced technology, more secure, and even more stable than the value of Bitcoin. Ethereum, in my opinion, will surpass the value of Bitcoin in the near future.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the price of a coin goes down and down after distributing the bounty token ? on: June 13, 2018, 05:19:39 AM
Most investors or token holders of an ICO dump their token or sell them right away after the token distribution, and this makes the price go down. The bounty hunters who earned tokens are eager to gain some profit so they choose to sell right away while they have the chance and once the token is already enlisted in an exchange. It’s a disadvantage for those who plan to hold the token for long term however if the project is really good and it becomes a success, there’s still a chance for the token value to go up.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why of Bitcoin has dropped below USD 6800 today on: June 11, 2018, 11:31:12 AM
Here is the explanation, After a period of relative stability between USD 8000 and USD 9000. The value of butcoin fell to below USD 6800 today.

The stable price of this virtual money has shifted since mid-December when it hit a record high of more than 19,850 dollars. The value of bitcoin dropped shortly before Christmas by almost being at 2 thousand dollars in just one hour at a point. Also, almost slipped under 11 thousand US dollars.

Then its value goes back up, before falling again in mid-January and early February. In March the decline in bitcoin prices was below 10 thousand US dollars and reached a low of 6,500 US dollars, before soaring above 7 thousand US dollars.

Experts say the cause of bitcoin degenerates is the unclear prospect of regulation and a series of profile thefts have contributed to the decline in bitcoin values in the cryptocurrency exchange. Google which released the announcement will prohibit cryptocurrency ads on its pages since June is also a major blow to the sector.

Meanwhile, last year's rise, bitcoin caused an increase in interest rates in other digital currencies such as ethereum, litecoin, and more. Now more and more people are looking for ways to invest in digital currency.

However there is a serious fear of bitcoin can explode at any time. Many financial experts have advised potential investors to avoid bitcoin and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission has notified the public to be careful of fraud.

A lot of factors can affect the value of bitcoin like public sentiments, government regulations, hacking, and even illegal activities. I think that eventually, bitcoin mining setups will cost a lot more than it should in the future. By then, the return of investment would be so low that none would have the patience nor resources to further or begin investing in bitcoin, that might lead to its inevitable crash.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether or altcoins? on: June 11, 2018, 05:14:20 AM
Hey guys what do you think? Is it better to hold ether or altcoins? I think alts are better because they can give you more profit, however it is quiet risky to hold them.
I think it would be better to hold ethereum, either short or long term, rather than altcoin since it has a more stable value. Holding altcoins are more risky, however, some do increase its value over time. It would be better to study properly and read a lot of reviews regarding the altcoins you prefer to invest in before investing in order to secure a profit from it.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to invest long term aside from Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2018, 08:00:26 AM
I highly recommend ethereum. altcoin is the best among the rest and has a great platform seta ICO use it a lot. demand for ethereum also increasingly grown and this, in the long run, will certainly lift the value of the ethereum in some time in the future. the development of the ethereum also bs seen in the chart is pretty good and certainly, these coins will be very potential for long-term investment.

In terms of use, ethereum has huge potential. In time, it’s possible that there will be more demand for ethereum because of its uses. It’s possible that it’s value will be much higher in the future.

Other than crypto or altcoins, there are many more possivle areas for you to invest for long term. You could opt for real estate property or stocks. You could choose to diversify your portfolio not only in crypto. There are also others who still prefer gold and believe that it is good for long term investment.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it hard to be in before the bull run on: June 08, 2018, 04:04:21 AM
I want 1000% gains why is it hard to gain that when researching the past many coins achieved that

It is not hard, all you need is patience. There will still be more 100X return on investment, but becaause the impatience of the investors dumping their tokens immediately after exchange listing the price is taking a hit on exchange, there are some project that you need to wait for months before you get somethng significant from them

Since that this is usually the case, the price of tokens go down after most of the investors dump them. There are those that loses its value entirely then the token dies. It really is hard to pick tockens that are profitable and we just have to hope that it performs well in the market. Those who were able to invest in a coin that has achieved more than 100% gain are absolutely lucky because it’s usually a one in a million chance.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Strategy on: June 07, 2018, 08:50:16 AM
Hello friends,
I am going to participate in bounty signature campaign. Can you guys suggest me some strategy. Like which bounty should I choose, how can I speculate what bounty is good for earnings etc.
thank you.

There's not much strategy. Just choose a campaign, put your signature and all, do posts regularly and get paid.
usually, I use a holding strategy with Bounty, because for this strategy is more profitable. because holding is the fastest way to improve quickly. so it will greatly affect the development so fast, so I am very supportive to use this strategy to provide substantial profit in the future.

Actually, holding is not the fastest. In holding, you would have to wait a long time until the coin has high value although it is indeed profitable. It is a good strategy for those who participate in bounty campaigns however it does not always yield good results because there are coins which lose it’s value after the token release then they eventually die. Holding will be good for coins that have the potential for long term investment.
70  Bitcoin / Press / [2018-06-07] Here's Why Investors Should Be Wary of Bitcoin on: June 07, 2018, 04:42:35 AM

71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the relationship between Altcoins and bitcoin ? on: June 06, 2018, 10:12:04 AM
Bitcoin is currently the top coin that is being traded for other altcoins in terms of market cap, volume, and general popularity. This is what makes bitcoin the central of the world of crypto and why it has gravity behind it, having a constant relationship with altcoins prices. When it comes to the trend, when Bitcoin goes up quickly, it will likely depress altcoins as money flows into Bitcoin. When Bitcoin goes down quickly, it may depress altcoins as money flows into fiat or may cause altcoins to increase its value. When Bitcoin stagnates. it will likely stagnate altcoins as well, or may also cause altcoins to boom as people will continuously look for returns to get a favorable income in trading.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: June 05, 2018, 05:41:21 PM
I had invested one ICO previously, it failed although I didn't contribute a huge amount on it. A news yesterday made analysis on blockchain ICO projects, mentioning 92% of these ICO projects are failed.. Should I stop investing the others or any really potential ICO suggest?

I am not sure about the percentage, but the vast majority of the ICOs end up as failures. But at the same time, the loss which you incur in these failed ICOs can be recovered from a single successful ICO.

That is true. While most ICO’s tokens don’t even make it to the exchanges or don’t have any value. Investing in ICOs are still worth the shot since you will profit abundantly with only one ICO. It may be risky so the money that you would use for investing should be money that you’re willing to lose. If you do the right research, you may be able to determine a good and profitable ICO to invest in.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone make serious profit from hodling 6-12 months ? on: June 04, 2018, 09:57:26 AM
Yes, I had made substantial profits by holding cryptocurrencies. My money almost tripled in a span of near about 12 months. I think holding is the easiest and safest way of making substantial profits in crypto market. You don’t need to do much research and study about the market trends. Just hold on to your investments for few months. It’s not about the amount of period you hold your money but on your accurate timing of buying and selling at available opportunity.

Holding is an effortless way of gaining profit since you don’t have to do much or put in too much effort. However, IMO holding  would still need to research because not all coins are worth holding. It’s possible that you could waste your time and effort for nothing. Also, you would be able to know when is the best time to sell or continue holding if you do some research.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the fiat money on: June 04, 2018, 06:51:13 AM
The time that bitcoin or cryptocurrencies will completely replace fiat money is most likely a lifetime away. Cryptocurrencies are not so easy to use for everyone. It requires time for studying even just its basics, and even just starting a crypto wallet would be hard for some. Fiat money, on the other hand, is very common to people; its value is already understood, and how to use it for trade and other services like second nature. However, with the rate of growth of crypto, it is indeed possible for it to replace fiat money, but I think it would be a really long time to do so.
75  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't hold your coin on exchange for long time. on: June 02, 2018, 05:38:47 PM
There are just those who keeps waiting for the trade to be in a reasonable price before they sell. While their coins are standing in the edge of hacks in the exchanges, and they weren't aware of it even a single bit of it. The ignorance is what leads them the most to regret in the end. I had done this quite a time, never got hacked but I am surely aware that there is always that 100% risks that a certain trading sites might get hack with just one click.

I agree to this. There are a lot of people who hold on to their coin in order to gain more money from it, in the hopes that their coin’s value would increase. However, knowing that cryptocurrencies are volatile in nature, one must study the trends carefully and to know the best time they can buy or sell coins. It is hard to enter into cryptocurrencies without studying the basics first.
76  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future of Cryptocurrency on: June 02, 2018, 03:21:20 AM
I think people in the future are going to be able to spend cryptocurrencies in their everyday life. I think that cryptocurrencies will somehow replace credit, debit cards or even cash eventually in the near future. It will be something that could be easily accessible even on mobile phones and would be preferred by people than having cash.
77  Economy / Speculation / Re: The June is coming and the market will boom up from that on: June 01, 2018, 02:52:21 PM
Hello everyone
You all are worried about the price of bitcoin that why it is not increasing in value and you forgot the previous two years. In the previous two years we saw a situation that from the month of January to May the price was near to stability stable and with slow move and then after the month of June the price started to increase and it doubled up much faster and multiplied many times. It is sure that we saw a situation in the previous two years then we will also see it in this year. So get ready as the train will start within a few days.
Yes! This is the trend of few last years and this is why I am not worried about the current prices of bitcoin because they are supposed to or are bound to increase in the month of June and July. Moreover August is also found favorable for the market of bitcoin and altcoins. Now ordeal for investors of this year is almost over. We simply need to take shots of chills in order to stay calm and make our way to July.

For 2017, there was a steady increase by July-August and the hype by December has made the price shoot up. Many traders are expecting to have a bull trend this coming weeks/month. It can't be helped that those who witnessed the price increase last 2017 would get worried because of how low the price currently is. Most have lost their faith after already losing a lot from their investment. Right now, we can expect to gain some profit with the coming price increase.

Bitcoin’s desperate need for electricity arises from its Proof of Work (POW) protocol. This gives the impression that hard-working miners with advanced computer equipment will win out. 80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: May 31, 2018, 07:27:30 AM
Both investments in banks and bitcoin are risky. Bank investments do not guarantee great returns, while the value of bitcoin is volatile. I suggest that you invest your money in other ways, such as purchasing life insurance. With that, they invest the money you give them (I think as low as 4000 php/month), and promises to return your money with a greater amount depending on how long you want to invest. In addition, you can also have hospital benefits, emergency funds, and in short, your life would be insured.
