26 cardsmiths graded by psa . Not even one 10. And these cards were cherry picked as best ones

Has anyone successfully received a reprinted card from cardsmiths? It’s been 7 weeks since I sent my gold #18 card in and now I’m not receiving replies to the email thread that they even received the card. Same with my diamond refractor that was received damaged, said it would be replaced and now all I’ve gotten is radio silence. I understand that everyone is wrapped up in series 2 and trade shows but a response would be nice considering the thousands I’ve given in purchases
Yes someone has. He may chime in to give details

will there be Hal Finney or Mike Caldwell cards in series 2? ☺️
In series one chat @jupityr was pretty cheeky when someone mentioned one of those.

Thanks for the new thread, MJ!
Me and a buddy went hard collecting Series 1.
Hoping to see some cool stuff from Series 2, however, the preview cards are a bit underwhelming so far.
Really think that the artwork should have been a big improvement for this series, but the wine bottle and Einstein, as well as the emerald black cloak satoshi? are really lame. Just looks like cheap copy and paste clip art.
The promo pics for Series 1 with the Bitcoin Bull, Satoshi Jones, Elon, etc. are really eye catching. Nothing really comparable in the Series 2 promo pics.
You would think they'd add some of the best artwork for the Series 2 promo pics like they did with the first series.
I'm keeping my hopes up, but will wait and see before I jump into collecting Series 2.
Cold foil 5 has to be SBF right??

Thanks MJ! Do we know who are on cold foils. A few think the binance chief is one. CZ

Question for those that have submitted to PSA. How much have you been paying to grade $35? $55 $99 ? Do you think undervaluing your card and taking the cheaper price will affect your grade. Although it shouldn't I've heard of some questionable grades. Any benefit to choosing PSA over Beckett. Have you noticed one grading service more forgiving to manufacturing errors than another? I understand that grading should be a black and white process but humans are doing it so its not always cut and dry. I have a membership and pay 19 bucks plus shipping and return insurance PSA is gold standard imho, but I too are not happy with grades I've received on topps card.. I think a bgs 9.5 equals a psa 10. A bgs 10 is a unicorn of perfection I like bgs sub grades as mentioned above. That way if you get a card in that same type you can cherry pick ones better in that area like centering

Card values will only go up from here too, with Series 1 officially being sold out as of yesterday.
Just like gold bars stacked up now congratulations

Getting about 40 cards from psa grading in next few days. There is a high rate of cards being miscut. I'm thinking 20 percent. If they are graded, there is about a 10 percent chance of a 10. The psa 10s will be highly coveted.
If I were to get more graded, I'd suggest slipping cards in an oversized sleeve and toploader. Very easy to nick a corner trying to fit in standard size sleeve
The odds of getting a 10 from psa is probably less than 10 percent of what you submit, not easy finding a perfect series 1 currency card. I was very happy with the diamond refractors, from whatI have seen it looks like most are very well aligned, same with the Onyx cards, I am guessing the 1/1 got some special attention to detail. Best of luck with your grading, pls share the results and pics With grading being about 25 bucks (including shipping insurance) and that low of a rate of gem mints. One is paying 250 in grading for a 10. So..those 10s should be coveted. yeah less than 10 percent. The cards I submitted were cherry picked to be possible 10s. Got lots of 8s. Maybe bad edges??

Looks like Beckett has graded my #16 diamond 1/1 as an onyx 1/1. grade got a 10. card is in production stage and has not shipped. I tried to call them with no answer, so I sent them an email to see if they can hold if for further review and correct labeling. May want to wait a little if you are thinking about submitting your diamonds to BGS.
A BGS 10 hard to come by. Can you tell if it is super rare black label. If so maybe don't risk re stabbing it It is a pristine 10 and not a black label. The card shows up on the pop report but has not shipped yet. Maybe they will see my email in time to fix the problem. I hope the card stays in the same shape but I also wouldnt want a wrong lable to cause any problems with ebay authentication or similar when selling in the future. This is the message I recieved from BGS a couple of hours ago. "Your order has been graded and has moved to the production stage! This is where grades are entered, labels are created, and encapsulation takes place. Only one step left after this!" Wow bgs 10. I was in doubt about psa 10 but bgs is epic. I submitted about 35 83 topps cryptocurrency cards maybe 2 10s. Whilst psa I got a 90 percent 10 rating

Doing some digging around on the PSA site. https://www.psacard.com/auctionprices/non-sport-cards/2022-cardsmiths-currency-series-1/240381This has a few of the diamond refractors listed as: 1 Bitcoin Diamond Gemstone Refractor-Proof 1A Bitcoin Diamond Gemstone Refractor-Proof 7 Nikola Tesla Diamond Gemstone Refractor-Proof 10 Bitcoin Diamond Gemstone Refractor-Proof 14 Ethereum Diamond Gemstone Refractor-Proof 28A Elon Musk Diamond Gemstone Refractor-Proof 41 Abraham Lincoln Diamond Gemstone Refractor-Proof 57 Salvatore Mundi Diamond Gemstone Refractor-Proof Perhaps they pulled this information from ebay, as I know a few of these were listed on ebay at some point. The page also lists most Onyx under the proper card number and name, e.g. 1 Bitcoin Onyx Gemstone Refractor 1/1 That feeds into theory that diamonds aren't legit. And onyx has 1/1 on label

Bad news if you are getting diamond graded. It appears they just look at serial number and what cardsmiths gave them and voila. That's it. So the onyx 1/1 will have pop 2 in some cases
We have reviewed the information on order 2Xxxxx. Any label errors reported were left unchanged, after determining they were correctly identified by our Research and Identification team.
What does this mean. They wont grade diamonds? Is this something cardsmiths has to fix? Seems like what's he's saying is that they will grade the diamond cards, but they categorize them as "onyx." As the only 1/1's Cardsmiths have on their list given to PSA was the Onyx 1/1's. I believe Cardsmiths will have to contact PSA and update their list to include the 1/1 Diamond refractor category. Correct. I'll just let them grade mine as an onyx. I may have to pay regardless now
