Does Topps release the count for number of cards for the common/regular cards?
How many base #83 cards were printed? How many "X" #83 cards were printed?
I recall asking that same question on one of the baseball card forums back in 2018, and I believe the answer is no. Regards, Chris The x cards should be quantified if they give odds of pulling red x or black x. But it is safe to say a whole lot of x cards

Interest seems to be a mile deep but an inch wide. if one of the true fans is not paying attention, the auction price takes a hit. But if they had left it at 85+ dollars and let it sit, they would have likely gotten their price.

Sweet. Many low serial number items don't grade well. Lucky owner may have doubled value

Do any of the grading houses grade these? that would help increase widespread appeal. like the original Pokemon card. Some of those cards numbered to 16 would do well.

alamjob239 - I have a few of the 2018 Allen & Ginter #83 Cryptocurrency Base cards with QR codes on the back. I am not sure if these are the exact cards you are looking for, but feel free to take a look at them. The have been kept in penny sleeves and top-loaders.
geophphreigh - Yes! these are the ones. Thank you. Would you give me a asking price in the PM Sir. Now that is cool. Genius idea

A PSA Black border 83 card sold for 90. Not bad. That card is under appreciated.

Lol. With PSA wait time we could have (more) gray hair. Happy for you. Sounds exciting

Perfect opportunity for someone to get a great collection if they missed the launch. Lots of pretty colors in there for sure!

Will be opening a box of 2018 A&G X in a few days. Will be over the rainbow if I pull any of the following, silver mini #83 or silver mini #84 marine national monument, red mini #83 or red mini #222 solar or a black mini #83. Any of these would be super and who knows maybe I score a couple of them, and maybe not lol. It's all fun to me and never take it too seriously. Just enjoy the hunt The only two silvers that havn't shown up are #83 and 384 The mini red's only one #222 and two #83's have shown up Probably less of a chance to pull a mini black #83 since probably 40 have already shown up out of probably 50 made. Going to be fun There are 100 mini x all black. 50 no number. 25 Brooklyn. About 10 glow in the dark. 5 mini red x. 1 silver. I like to review the first page of this thread every once in a while as a refresher 😀

It's just a gamble. You could take all the 9's that you got, crack them and resubmit them. One of them could come back a 10. Could have been the regular grader was off that day, or there and didn't feel good. Any number of reasons really. I know dealers that do that same thing, every time that they send cards in. It's a crap shoot. There are still plenty of cards out there and there's no way to know if they've been top loaded or not. I'm thinking that we will see more 10's in the x mini in the future. So unless money is no issue for you, I'd hold out. I heard that PSA hired a bunch of new graders to get caught up.....sooooo? I agree we will see some more psa 10's. At least a few, maybe . The issue is the smallest speck of white showing brings it down to a 9 or less. You need to look at the card on a black piece of paper straight on and not from an angle. I hear there are card doctors that "treat" ailing cards. There was an article about ut recently

Whenever you have a 1/1 card or the only PSA 10 it puts your card into a special class of pricing. I would say the card is priced right I might be of the minority but $23k for that card is way overpriced. Like way overpriced, mr stacy I would stay away from that card just a heads up. I'm too mad at PSA to give in and buy that card (not to mention not having 23k to burn). I personally submitted 12 cards or so. Many that looked pristine to me.

If by chance one or two more black mini's grade at psa 10, the price would probably fall drastically. Keep that in mind if you are thinking of jumping in at this price. If it were a printing plate or wood card or any 1/1 you wouldn't have to consider such possibility
With 31 being submitted and only 1 10, i doubt another 10. One would have a better chance at a 10 with BGS. The conspiracy theorist in me says it is planned. Those 30 must be off center and they all were printed on same plate. Doesn't add up.
