Website mentions a version expiring soon. Is that the ones we know about?

PSA 10's are the name of the game at the moment. Just my opinion but, I think the "10" is going to be difficult to get going forward unless the card is virtually flawless. This would be equal to the Beckett black label 10, all subsets are graded a 10. Just my humble opinion for now. I think a black border or gold border psa 10 is going to be the hot items for awhile. +1 on gold and black borders. These are quite hard to find in the wild, but that is not being taken into account as much as it should. black borders have about the same rarity as ginter x full-size and gold borders maybe slightly less so (afterall, a value pack will have 3 gold borders by design, so buying 120 packs almost guarantees one) The no numbers have yet to have their day. i haven't seen one either loose or graded in many months. It could be someone has one but failed to distinguish it from a regular A&G back?

This IS a Allen & Ginter Reference Thread. ... if anyone is confused. Ha.yep for sure. but for us noobs (like me) it is helpful to have a reference point.

It's seems a little too early for the high end cards.
i thought 2k for a card was a little much, but then a mini red sold for over 75k. i'd be curious to chart the rise of magic gathering to our card. Those are up to 400k. i sense we are ahead, of where they were at this point. 2 1/2 years in.

Still plenty of rare ones left happy hunting
I'm pretty sure there are still no#'s, brooklyn backs, and maybe a few glowies that can still be found in the wild, not many though, maybe a few x black mini's but, doubtful a PSA 10. I gave up on the silver mini as it is too expensive to look for it. At this point in the game, the legadary status of the 83 Cryptocurrency card is sealed. The packs, boxes and cases are cost prohibitive for a reasonable return. Hobby boxes were 250 a couple weeks ago, now 400. X boxes 3kish

I have some cards that I'm picking up today. The 1 that mattered the most was a Glowie, that got a 10. As far as I'm concerned, it's worth the wait. Like playing the lottery...but with better odds. Awesome news. Man. it takes so long but like you said. if it results in a 10, well worth it. We may have our first six-figure item. 2018 was the last year of the glow-in-the-dark which gives it a special meaning in A&G history. Also, only about 8 ever made!

Keep in mind if you want your card graded you are going to need patience and a lot of money for PSA. Plan on a minimum of 300.00 per card plus insurance and shipping. Also you will need to be somewhat patient. I sent some in and what I found creates the most stress is the feeling they have so many cards there for sure yours will get lost.
You obviously have some high-end ones at 300. We'll be on the lookout. 100 is minimum for individual ones

Minis finally getting some love
Notable sale
PSA 10 Mini A&G Back - March 11, 2021 - 750
What it seems like to me is the PSA 10's are flying out the door for the non super rare ones. +1 . PSA will be elite brand even more so. They are trying to rebrand by saying even a lower grade PSA is still PSA.

Raw 2018 Topps Allen & Ginter Plain Jane Mini - 200 - March 10, 2021 (on Comc.com)
Finally, the minis are starting to get some attention. Long overdue. A mini should be at least 3x the price of a base card, that mean any one under 180 is a steal.
Thank you for posting these notable sales. For us treasure hunters it keeps us up to date. Glad to be of service. The good thing about buying on comc is that if the card has significant issues, they'll say in the ad. It may be too early to see a lot of recycled cards (been to PSA, got a non-9 or 10, case cracked and sold to public). But, when they do, we may see another price spike as buying retail will be full of hazards. Haven't seen any super high-end cards in a while. That is what is needed to take us to the next phase. Will it be another red mini, a glowie, or a graded brooklyn. It will be a fun thing to watch if it gets auctioned off.

In other news, PSAs recent price increase was anticipated/leaked to many in the card space. There was a tremendous influx of cards submitted to beat the deadline. PSA sent out an email to subscribers saying cards are safe which suggests boxes were not cared for in usual fashion. PSA said they sent staff to the post office to collect the overflow.

There are reports that the egg card boom is manufactured, but even a man made boom can go viral. Like doge and game stop. see the blowout card link i posted above.
