Those ginter x boxes that initially sold for $70 now have asking of up to $700. Even if they get half that, it is a nice ROI.
I think i'll get a few boxes each year. they are fun to open! Does anyone know the strategy to get one? i think i remember seeing card sites like Blowout Cards offering pre-sales. Maybe they have an inside contact on knowing exact moment they go for sale.

 Well it's official, I just saw the email from PSA that I've been waiting for (took forever to PoP)....my Cryptocurrency Brooklyn Back just got a Big Fat 10 Grade!!! I wish everyone good fortune with the PSA grading process So very thrilled right now. Pop the bubbly. that is great news for sure. Haven't seen any around for a month or so. With only 25, i guess it is no surprise. |

So...I just searched the population report on PSA, specifically regarding the Ginter X black mini cards, and the results are interesting.
According to the current pop report, a total of 16 non-cryptocurrency black mini cards have been graded. Of those 16 black mini cards, 11 received the high grade of PSA10. That's a whopping 68.75% of the total population of all non-#83 black mini cards! By that average, at least 6 (or 6.1875, to be accurate) of the registered 9 cryptocurrency cards in the pop report should have received the same high grade of PSA10. Strangely, there is not a single PSA10 cryptocurrency card. WTF?!?
Why are all the other black mini cards receiving the highest grades, but not the cryptocurrency card?
I recall reading in a baseball forum that some collectors suggest that the grading companies know which cards are the most desired/expensive, and they grade those cards a lot stricter than any other cards in an effort to keep the 10-grade population low (which helps to control/regulate the collectibles market).
I don't know if that theory is true, but I do find it quite disturbing that of those 9 graded cryptocurrency cards, an average of 6 should have received a high grade of PSA10, but not a single card received that grade. Again...WTF?!?

Yes. the mini ginter x black ones should 4 10s at least. i sent in 22 of the BIG ginter x and got 6 10s! Something is not right. |

Man when the next Brooklyn (/25), Red X (/5), or Glow (/?) shows up, the sky's the limit. i remember thinking $100 for a red x mini was too much. Now look.
I'm trying to promote the card where i can. i even changed my avatar on telegram to be the back of a no number card. The prices have been bid up with only a few bidders (Just 4 for the 83 NNO). Once word gets out and there are dozens, it goes to the moon!

Here's something that I learned last night hanging out at my local card dealers...the collectors, in general, don't like the Allen Ginter cards, because the paper is so much thinner than the other Topps line of cards. Ya learn something new every day....I'm thinking that if that's the case, and they are so much MORE delicate...then they should be worth a LOT MORE....am I right? There are 100 black minis and only 50 NNOs. The OP has the counts for each type where available. |

It looks like if you bid $476, you might be the high bidder now. Go look at the bids.........it will be interesting to see just where in the heck that price lands Yeah ... it always looks that way. I bid it up again to 480 and still not winning, and it's not even something I really require lol...  Agree. These no number haven't had accurate pricing compared to mini black. Im thinking because collectors are trying to get all 350 ginter xs but not necessarily all 350 Nnos |

The word "Cryptocurrency " is spelled incorrectly. I missed this because of that. Price may not go astronomical as many won't find it. Yeah I don't know about that. I bid it up to like almost 500 bucks and gave up for now as someone has placed a very large autobid... $500 is chump change. This is a #1,200 card I'm thinking. The 1/100 ginter x went for $600 and this is twice as rare. |
